there isn't much to correct tbf, only Otsemebour - but we've dominated the match, we've got the right team out there.
-
bloody hell
-
not really...we just have to win, i have huddersfield down as a win tonight, they have other games to slip up in.
-
almost 2-0 now, we are going to be very very lucky to get anything here now. They will just keep hitting us on the break with their pace. going 1-0 was the worst possible scenario, we needed the first goal here. ****, ****, ****. @ hudds ffs
-
how the **** have we not scored tonight? utter ********.
-
two penalties that could end our season! 1-0 to rovers
-
penalty rovers. we've battered them, and we are about to go 1-0 down. not going to be our night..

Can you make a judgement next Christmas?
S-Clarke replied to Legod Third Coming's topic in The Saints
I'd accept a defeat every now and then, it happens - every team loses football matches, but i wouldn't be happy if we were scrapping around in the playoffs way off the auto places, after the invesement we have put into the team. That would be a massive massive let down IMO and i'm not sure Markus/Nicola would accept that either. Promotion is a must next year, and i don't fancy taking the route via the playoffs, it's a lottery and anything can happen. Auto promotion or bust IMO. -
It wasn't really a transfer embargo though was it? You had it lifted for the January transfer window, so you could throw money at loans and free transfers that you still couldn't afford. Take a look at Bournemouth to see the real definition of a transfer embargo.
-
kelvin davis - understand that totally. but what on earth did Otsemebor do to get into the team...?
-
Juve and and Jose's Inter were very interested in a loan deal, when he wasn't getting a look in at Spurs. big lol @ nottingham forest trying to sign him back in novemeber too.
-
agree completley, always thought he'd turn out to be world-class. He's only 19/20 at the mo isn't he? and he's already ripping teams apart.
-
that was derby's plan, kick the hell out of Bale and Jones so we didn't have them for the 2nd leg. they were a really nasty team that year, glad they got shown up in the prem. for what they really were.
-
He's improved in defence, but was still prone to the odd lapse - his ability on the left flank is all to see though, there aren't many players around that have the confidence and the ability to beat a player and put a quality cross into the box. He ran our team from LB during our playoff season, and he kind of ran the game for Spurs at times y/day. Top quality player, he will play at a big big club one day.
-
I love the comment ''Southampton aren't as good as people think''. well we beat you 5-0, and it could have been 8 or 9, so i guess that makes you pretty damn ****!
-
I beg to differ. They are over £100m in debt, they will only have a few players at the start of the next season. They are yet to agree a CVA or have any credible buyer come forward. They have no training ground, and their stadium is falling apart. Apart from that, everything is rosy for them.

I do like Seaborne, but he does give me the jitters at times as he can make the wrong decisions. But that can be coached out of him, he's still only 21 i think. Having him in the team allows us to play from the back, he impressed me on Saturday with how he passed the ball from the back, he didn't always look to just hoof it. It does help that he's left footed, as he doesn't have to switch his position, he can just play it as soon as it comes to him. I think he gives us much more defensive balance. I can see why Pardew bought him, he has got good ability - but is prone to lapses which should be easy to coach out of him.
-
just saw the free-kick that was given in the buildup to their first goal. W.T.F.
-
they haven't. been confirmed a few weeks back that they did not send the documentation through to UEFA in time to even be considered, if there was a possibility. so that place will go to the 7th place team afaik.
-
even more, how the feck did spurs not get that goal at 1-0.
-
it's to do with a certain amount of games they play, as it triggers payments for their loan players. i.e they'd have to pay £4m for Dindane . ****s.
-
bale does not deserve to be on the losing team.
-
oh well, ******s spurs for not turning up total bottlers.
-
one man show by bale, glad he's doing well tbh.
-
let the onslaught begin then...
