This is the worry I have over the future decisions, as I said they've led chaos since the summer, not from a playing side just everywhere else. I know change will cause a bit of chaos, but a lot of what we've seen has been self inflicted thus far. So I'd say I'd be nervous, but also still have in the back of my mind that he did spot Thomas Frank and Dean Smith.

Absolutley, not all of them, but there are players still in and around the group who have struggled no matter who is in place. I have to include JWP in that as these struggles seem to follow him around, he's lacking something in his makeup which I think makes him struggle as the main man. Bednarek, Armstrong, Moussa, Elyounoussi, Adams, Perraud, Diallo - they've been associated with this shit for years, and it's not getting any better.

Nice to play a team you don't usually play, happy for this. Happy it's not a 'Jones' derby either, as it would be cringe for the entire build up. This is probably the best game for all concerned (A much lower league team as well)

I think at the time both Targett and Reed had players in front of them, quite a few in Reed's case. The club, and probably the players let's be fair, thought taking the money and letting them develop was the fair choice. Plus the money from Targett enabled us to sign Adams. The problem has been the recruitment, we didn't see either as first team players (and they weren't) when they left, and we didn't evolve the midfielders or Bertrands role anywhere near enough and we actually regressed. That's probably a combination of a lack of finances and poor scouting.

I think they deserve credit for coming out and fronting it, it wasn't as muted or conditioned as I thought it may be, so they sat there and took quite a few punches (although it was a little bit milder than I thought it would be). The general takeaway from that is clear though, the club aren't happy with the situation, with the results and with Jones comments at the weekend. So for those reasons alone I'm utterly baffled as to why he is here, the comments Rasmus made regarding doing it when the time is right and that they have more reference points to work from is waffle, let's be honest. The only reference point that matters is 4:50pm on a Saturday afternoon, and that reference point is currently Southampton-nill. That should be the only reference point that matters, no matter how good mates he is with JWP on the training pitch. As much as I want us to win on Saturday I'm not sure if it's a good thing in the long-term, as it will extend his stay even more. I'm pretty convinced in my mind that he's got to go, I don't like the fact he's associated with us and he's not someone I really want to watch or listen to anymore. I appreciate their commitment to the future and that we'll be fine next year, whatever happens, but at the end of the day the actions talk - and all we have seen since the summer is quite frankly chaos and as I sit here today it doesn't bode well for future decisions. There have been clubs in the lower leagues in the past with all the chatter but nothing to back it up, I hope we're not going down that road. As I said, I respect them for fronting up at a time when they knew there was a grilling coming their way. I do believe everything they are doing is well-intentioned and they are trying, but their decision making up to now is leaving a lot to be desired - and keeping Jones on is another decision that has added further doubts in my mind.

Given that he was wanted at Brentford when they lost Dean Smith, that someone is almost certainly Rasmus.
-
The jist of what I've got from the tweets is that he needs time with the new signings etc. Nonsense of the highest order.
-
He really doesn't want to admit failure does he.
-
Looks like Rasmus to me! Need some blurred earlobe experts.

Is it just me or are the club winding us up with that gallery? They leave Jones to the last picture, seems an odd move given the speculation and social media shouts for him to go.
-
Paul Belverstone? He's covering for Blackmore on the pre-match press duties, I think that's what Steve was referring to.
-
It's not a media fan forum, it's a behind closed doors/select few round a table. We won't hear anything from it unless we get some gossip from those that went.
-
Our B Team would be the envy of all.
-
There's a case of people just reading way too much into things I'd imagine, emotions are heightened so everything will be under the microscope. Who knows what the context is of them training a lone, probably not what everyone thinks (if it is indeed true)
-
Brereton has looked horrific, but the service hasn't been great. Blackburn have been equally dross, Wigan deserve this on the second half. Our old mate Caulker has just come on for Wigan.
-
Thought I'd watch tonight's Championship game to scout out our oppo for next season. It's so, so bad to watch. I think we're going to be right at home.
-
Seems to be a bit of a social media campaign, as those Jones Out pics are all over the tweets about the women's team as well. Not sure why people waste their time on that, it'll make no difference. They know how the fans feel, they're just stubborn and believe in their own hype of wanting to be different to everyone else.

Good spot, you are all over twitter If he does take any job it will be something out of the spotlight such as this.
-
I genuinely don't see him going back into management, might be wrong but I think this job took a shit load out of him. He'll end up as some sort of Technical Advisor going forward.
-
Nope, he's still here, took training. He's being given a stay of execution. That's the summary of it all really.
-
We'll never truly know what gets said behind the scenes, but the club can't just ignore fan feeling here. Who are they talking to that is suggesting that sticking with him for even the next 24 hrs is a good idea? As other's have said, duty of care comes into this. Why would you put someone quite clearly having a bit of stress overload into a situation on Saturday that could tip anyone over the edge. There's having broad shoulders and then there's being deaf, we've all seen how spikey he is - why are the club willing to risk Saturday? I'm not even thinking about the game at this stage, just as him as a person.
-
I genuinely think this is a proper behind closed doors event, we won't see much if any of the come back in my opinion. We'll be relying on transcripts from people on here who have gone.
-
Apparently they wouldn't be able to appeal this if it went to CAS, something different in the source of the allegations compared to Uefa. But it's worth bearing in mind that any actions will not be seen for many years, this isn't something you'll see the resolution of this season. We'll see in a couple of years how this has played out.
-
Sorry to burst your bubble, but he's taking training today as normal.
-
In that case, you suspend him and put him on gardening leave pending outcome of any investigation. You don't let him continue doing his job! If that is the case and we're waiting for an investigation and talking to proposed options, then just suspend Jones. We don't even need to replace him by Saturday in order to get a 'bounce' in mood.
