any idea what he's up to? is he still at Roda JC ?
-
James is still learning, he has ability and has improved massively since last season. the problem he has is his judgment and decision making, which is kinda what you expect from a young player. He's not been tracked by championship clubs by being a poor player. Eventually i can see him making a good defensive midfielder. KD is the best keeper in this league, most championship clubs would have him. I understand peoples criticisms of his lack of presence on corners, but TBH i think the guy has improved massively over the last 2 years for us and is playing with confidence again. I'd have no worry in having him keep goal for us in the championship when we get back.

nah, unfort. not. annoyingly this route is only for the new epg.
-
Well it's a reactionary post isn't it. Esp. with the james and Davis comments. Would it have been posted if we had won? No.
-
I think saga has burned his bridges here, pard's confirmed as much in the echo - he'll never play for us again. Pato is still learning, he really should go out on loan IMO - it would be perfect for him, as he isn't good enough for us yet.
-
As per usual, if a player has a bad game or 2 - sack them, not good enough, wholesale changes needed. seriously, what's up with some of our fans. Do we honestly expect all 11 players to play well and win every week?
-
it's not a suprise at all if you look at the bigger picture. I'd love to have been pushing for playoffs now...don't get me wrong....but there's time for a bit of realism. I don't think it's an excuse to say we nearly went bust/we didn't have a pre-season/we didn't have a team until the end of august they're all facts -and they have all contributed in some way or anther to the sluggish start we did have. We will get better though...and we have been getting better, the defeats are few and far between and we got over a tricky hurdle today...and didn't lose.
-
ok, we get that you think it's been poor... for me, so far - it's been average. We've not been awful and we've not been amazing...but i'm just happy with the fact that we will eventually become the best team in this league, it didn't happen for leeds overnight tbf.
-
nope.....i love width in football, can't stand narrow play tbh.
-
100% true. i still at times felt trotman was a bit rash, but he won alot more in the air today tbf. I thought both him and Jaidi handled Holt very well IMO.
-
Completely different player to Rasiak. Rasiak is a box striker, tap ins/headers. Doesn't give a damn about the pass...just wants to score for himself. Lambert is much more of an all round forward, he also has 7 assists this season. He's got more to his game that Rasiak by a mile, so it's pointless even comparing them.
-
When ever a player has a dip for us, he's not good enough or he's looking for a move. Bizzare reasoning's from some of our fans. TBF i think today he was up against 2 of the best CB's in the league, he found it very hard...but he did win his fair share of headers.
-
Good player - but we don't need goal scorers IMO. Priority is the defensive side of the team, not just CB but midfield too.
-
We need another CB and a real top top quality (For this level anyway) Defensive midfielder.
-
The playoffs were always a long shot, let's push on and finish the season in the top half, looking at the bigger picture that would be decent IMO.
-
That's where the word perspective comes in. Some people get too carried away with a few wins and some people get too carried away with dropped points. At the end of the day, we're somewhere in the middle - but we'll keep improving from now on.
-
That was a great game to watch, but i felt Norwich had more control of it in the 2nd half and looked much more of a threat pushing forward. We held on well in the end (i thought Murt's stopped their wideman getting in behind with his positioning) but trotts was iffy again, let's too many balls bounce and is way too indecisive and rash with his distribution. Lambert was quiet again i felt, but Connolly was excellent. His movement and flicks were brilliant to watch and his goal was a beauty - his fitness is improving massively as well - he's going to be a big big player for us. Overall a good draw against a good team - we could have easily lost that in the last 10mins, but we held on well. Hartlepool will be tough, but we have to go there now and win.
-
Yeah - it's not displayed on sky properly yet, but with the new EPG you can just add it into ''other channels'', so it's still pretty accessible. check this guide... http://www.tellytoad.com/page/itv-hd-on-sky-hd.aspx

i think you can forget about the swindon game, that's something which is never going to happen again. even pard's holds his hands up to that one now. I think we only had defenders/midfielders on the bench for that game...not much opportunity to change a demotivated first team. (which they were at that point..) I think it's impressive to see how far we've actually come since then, it wasn't that long ago really. I think it opened pard's eyes to the complete lack of quality and pretty much ended saganowski's future here.
-
I think the fact he is still here indicates that there is very little, if no interest in him at all. The fact that pard's has said both the club and himself are actively looking for clubs, kinda suggests he's struggling to find a new employer... sad really, an ex-polish international and recent world cup player. In a way he needs to look at himself and his attitude tbf.

He always speaks sense, something which took me back slightly when he first joined. I mean come on...a saints manager, talking sense? never happens. i miss the days of ''the boysh did well''
-
We have barley dropped any points with the team pardew has put together. our poor defeats and drab draws came when he was forced to play the likes of Perry, Patterson, Saganowski, jake thompson, lancashire... now he has his team, we have barley stuttered - bar last sunday. have a think before you post.

2018 World Cup bid - Time for Saints to step in
S-Clarke replied to Matthew Le God's topic in The Saints
as far as i know their stadium will only have a capacity of 22k. -
His transfer was almost as protracted as Skacels, remember when leicester tried to hijack it? after all that, he only scored 2 goals all season! very much a player who came accross as the sort who thrives in confident, winning environments...but isn't there to stand up and be counted when the going get's tough.

why do people post such complete woffle.
