Yeah that's what I thought. Austin coming on just slowed us down. He is absolutley awful nowdays.
-
He really isn't coming back. For 1) he was the chairman, we already have a chairman - that isn't the gap we're looking to fil and 2) Himself and KL have not and will not see eye to eye.
-
Was it really? I thought we were pretty ****, as per usual. Very little goal threat, giving the ball away in **** area's. retreating to our goal and giving Watford a sniff. Just as **** as most other weeks. Could have lost that in the final 5.
-
He's 24 years old now, still no mark on the england side and still not impacting games at any level. At least he's a good lad. Doesn't drink, did all his homework on time.
-
I remember the days we used to bump the threads ''Saints win away, skates lose at home'' ''unbeaten at home in 30 odd..." And now this. Shows how quickly the tide can change if you get the recruitment as horrifically wrong as we have.
-
Yeah we can change the manager, maybe get a little kick start, but it'll be back to normal sooner rather than later because the squad is full of the biggest load of unlikable tossers ever.
-
Sersiously, what is the point. dire, dire, dire. We're never winning again.
-
What are the point of his interviews, they never offer anything.
-
You've been on the sauce again.
-
They're very much a moneyball model, there will come a point where it will get a bit boring for their fans I'm sure. Strong enough to challenge, but never good enough to see it over the line. Rinse and repeat. They've got a link with FC Mijyland as well iirc. Pretty sure a lot of their players go back and forth between clubs.
-
He's never looked solid. Don't let a 0-0 against non-attacking Newcastle fool you. He is absolute dog ****e in my opinion, one of the guys who needs to go ASAP. Hopefully him being out allows someone else to secure their own spot in the team so we don't have to endure daddy longlegs ever again.

Maybe Bruce can come in as DOF, with Moyes working underneth him with Steve Round as his asssistant? (imagine that)
-
Yeah, there was a big disagreement in coaching styles/preparation between them and Hunter/Reed - they were removed due to that, rather than anything from the players. As you said, they were well liked by all the lads - not sure if that's because they got an easy ride or not, but they were certainly pulling in the results!
-
He does have an unhealthy obsession, I must admit.
-
I didn't expect that, but this has given me a bit of renewed belief that there are people who can see what's going on beyond Reed and co. Without question he did contribute here and for elements of what he did we will always have to be thankful, but over the last couple of years his increased power and involvement has made him look increasingly out of his depth. For me, Reed and Wilson are the two main characters culpable for the disastrous transfer windows over the last couple of years - so whilst this is progress, we need to also see the back of Wilson as well.
-
We know what it's like on the back of a promotion - you're on a crest of a wave, momentum. We'd be on a seriously low ebb with no confidence. They would sadly beat us without much effort in that scenario.
-
To be fair, whilst that result is a standout, the writing had begun to be written on the wall by that point (Puel, poor transfer window, Fonte being frozen out etc)
-
When Watson came in from Norwich I remember their thoughts, they believed he'd also had a reverse effect on the fortunes of John Ruddy as well. I thought he was a decent pull for us at the time, but seemingly has got a bit of a knack of making keepers regress.
-
They will play us off the park tbh. I've already accepted that.
-
Every year this happens. Surely people know he's not just going to change his view spontaneously? I see all the Stoke fans have turned against him now and Stoke City want to fine him, but they knew his stance when they signed him, so why are they so up in the air about it now? Something to complain/be offended about, I guess. I wonder what it will be next week.
-
He certainly talks a good game, I'll give you that. Laps it up to the fans quite well. But I don't think he's particularly all that.
-
But it's suggesting either Moyes or Allardyce for the job. What is it with 'failed' managers just cyling like this? If we appoint one of those two after Hughes then we have quite clearly lost any direction or plan that we once had. Hughes, Moyes, Lambert, Allardyce. Round and round we go....

There's more to the Yoshida situation than meets the eye IMO.
