'As soon as she came to the club'. Cortese left in 2014, she inherited the club in 2010. She allowed the continuation of the Staplewood redevelopment, she could have pulled the plug on all of that in L1 if she wished.

I doubt he'd have any idea, he's just speculating.
-
It just beggers belief. We obviously let MP call the shots on that one. What a true mess at all levels. Even the groundsman were moaning at eachother at FT when they were mowing the grass.
-
Selling Jose Fonte in January and shutting your eyes in the need for a replacement. Then panic and sign a freebie when the window is shut. Selling VVD in January and shutting your eyes in the need for a replacement. We haven't even bothered to look for a freebie replacement.
-
Given that the only team we've beaten since November is West Brom, it probably is.
-
Selling Mane and Pelle in the same window and believing Redmond, Boufal and Austin would replace their huge goal haul.
-
It's the hope that kills you! It's all over mate, no point stressing over it now.
-
Lack of leadership. At 2-1 you needed someone to grab those players together, calm them down, and settle it down. There was nothing. We were on the ropes as soon as they got 1 goal, to ship 3 in 8 mins is nothing other than a shocking mentality. We have a bunch of meek and mild fairy’s, built by the awesome Ross Wilson.
-
That is the game in hand.

We were down when he was still manager in January. The bottom 3 is now the bottom 3, bum fight between us and stoke for who finishes 19th. Exciting times. Huddersfield, and Bournemouth in the league above us. Hang your heads in shame everyone at this club. Sack the lot of them, incompetant dross.
-
Only a few weeks ago didn't they say they needed to apply for an overdraft, such was the financal mess at the club. They are just chatting to appease the fans. (like most clubs do)
-
Because he failed miserably as Bolton's manager. If we stay up, which to be fair is a very big if, then Hughes will get the gig. He'd deserve it, as we'd have to go on a great run of form from now. If we go down and don't win another game and Hughes hasn't had an impact, then I'd change it up and go and grab someone like Rowett. Proven in that league, successful in that league.
-
That ship has long sailed..... If we stay in the PL, Hughes will be here longer-term.
-
Why is everyone so in love with Potter? That appointment to me would just continue what we've been doing, trying to be clever rather than going for proven. And Sammy Lee isn't a manager, he's a good coach though. Jumping around a lot and showing passion doesn't automatically make you a good manager.
-
He'll get a move if we go down, no doubts. We'll be left with a shell of a side, as individually we have decent quality, it's just not the right mix.
-
JWP is the club pet student.
-
There is a horrible vaccum at the top of the club right now. I don't think anyone - players included - know what we're about. I'm certainly not giving any of my money over to the 'owners' until we have a clear idea and strategy going forward. The entire place is entirely rudderless.
-
Yeah Le Fondre scored, but Roberts scored as well. My memory is that he came to Reading for the back end of that season and got them the goals needed.
-
Bloody Jason Roberts....
-
Never really been a big fan to be honest. But the sad thing is that he's the very least of our problems!
-
This is why Cedric has been shown up massivley this season. He had the likes of Fonte and VVD helping him out in previous seasons, but defensivley he is pretty naff on his own. Gets too tight, not strong enough, not tall enough. Not great traits for a defender. When he's got someone as passive and reactionairy as Stephens next to him, he's got a problem.
-
Benitez, Rudi Garcia, Laurent Blanc, Manuel Pellegrini, Schmidt Genuine options we should have been all over in my opinion, and appointments which would have galvanised the support and helped us attract. We were in such a good position, but the club decided to go cheap and get someone like Claude. It never felt right with him, just a bit of a non-appointment.
-
Nah, JWP had a decent game. The midfield was a little more controlled than it has been in recent weeks. Lemina has played the role of headless chicken over the last couple of games, so it was nice to see a bit of solidity and shape to the central area.
-
Five at the back without Stephens...?

Another truly WTF signing in our long line of WTF signings. -
It wouldn't be any different to Everton sending us down in my mind. Let's not try and make a rivialary out of something that isn't.
