He'll get a move if we go down, no doubts. We'll be left with a shell of a side, as individually we have decent quality, it's just not the right mix.
-
JWP is the club pet student.
-
There is a horrible vaccum at the top of the club right now. I don't think anyone - players included - know what we're about. I'm certainly not giving any of my money over to the 'owners' until we have a clear idea and strategy going forward. The entire place is entirely rudderless.
-
Yeah Le Fondre scored, but Roberts scored as well. My memory is that he came to Reading for the back end of that season and got them the goals needed.
-
Bloody Jason Roberts....

Never really been a big fan to be honest. But the sad thing is that he's the very least of our problems!
-
This is why Cedric has been shown up massivley this season. He had the likes of Fonte and VVD helping him out in previous seasons, but defensivley he is pretty naff on his own. Gets too tight, not strong enough, not tall enough. Not great traits for a defender. When he's got someone as passive and reactionairy as Stephens next to him, he's got a problem.

Benitez, Rudi Garcia, Laurent Blanc, Manuel Pellegrini, Schmidt Genuine options we should have been all over in my opinion, and appointments which would have galvanised the support and helped us attract. We were in such a good position, but the club decided to go cheap and get someone like Claude. It never felt right with him, just a bit of a non-appointment.
-
Nah, JWP had a decent game. The midfield was a little more controlled than it has been in recent weeks. Lemina has played the role of headless chicken over the last couple of games, so it was nice to see a bit of solidity and shape to the central area.

Five at the back without Stephens...?

Another truly WTF signing in our long line of WTF signings. -
It wouldn't be any different to Everton sending us down in my mind. Let's not try and make a rivialary out of something that isn't.
-
We basically made two shambolic managerial appointments. The appointment of Puel was worse in my opinion, simply because of the position we were appointing from. Top 6, EL football, lots of $$ to spend. Should have aimed so much higher, but we tried to be clever. And that 'trying to be clever' theme carried on over the next 24 months.
-
He wasn't. Two of the goals came directly from his poor positoning and lack of physicality. VVD or Fonte for e.g. would have cut out that third girl before it reached Welbecks head. He's not good enough. He's one of the main reasons we are where we are.

Too little too late really, not the stage of the season for plucky defeats. Need to win games like that. Or at the very least get something, but even that wouldn’t have been enough. Another one gone and we're still in the same position, actually a little worse off than last week. For the first time it looks like it's getting closer to being all over now. Just 6 games left, two of those against City and Chelsea. I just can't see it now, need to be looking at 35+ points. That looks like a lifetime away right now. What a truly depressing and saddening state of affairs the people in control have let us get into. They should all hang their heads in shame and pay back their yearly wage.
-
No, it hasn't worked because he's never fit. He's kind of been our top scorer by default, it's not like he's been hitting double figures or anything groundbreaking like that.
-
Mane was around 10-11m from memory, VVD was closer to £14m. In fact he was our record signing for a period. The signings that have been cheap and we've tried to gamble on haven't really worked. (Forren, Austin, Juanmi, Bedranek, Gardos, Mayuka). All less than £8m.
-
I don't think he did. We lost 5-0 at home, then 2-0 at home and 2-1 away early in the season. The 2-0 win in the cup was against a reserve Arsenal side. If he taught us how to play them in that game, he didn't use what he learnt in the forthcoming home games against them later in the season.
-
The scenes prior to the match will be swept under the carpet to protect the media's love child.
-
He's already got his feet into english football with Forest, and by all accounts he is a complete and utter crook.
-
Clutching at straws but at least other results aren't too bad!

2 from 3 in my opinion. Stoke, Huddersfield and ourselves. Could just do a toss up between ourselves and Stoke, we both look to have given up. I don't think we're getting to single digits this year Ralph. -
The standard is so low that you're probably right, he couldn't be arsed and strolled around most of the time but was still better than the rest of the bunch. Why the club think we were good enough to sell a £75m defender and not replace him is bordering on arrogance and complete and utter mismanagement.
-
We don't have any free hits left. There's no way we should look at any games as a free hit now, we need as many points as we can get.
-
There isn't a single player deserving of the accolade. It'll probably be someone like Hojbjerg because he talks a good game though. Not that he plays it.
-
Unfortunately the squad that has been built lacks three crucial elements. 1 - Pace 2 - Strength 3 - Desire and leadership. The fact remains that individually we have some good, talented international players, but the way the squad has been assembled is all wrong and is lacking those crucial elements in key positions - which means it's impossible to see the best of our talented players. It's a sorry state of affairs. Not sure why we tried so hard to keep Wilson, he's been in charge of this cluster****.
-
Win 4-1 away from home? In all seriousness it's not going to be as bad as Sunderland, I can't see that. No worse than lower mid-table, but given were we were 24 months ago that is a little diabolical.
