  1. The away is a bit left field and different, would certainly divide opinion. Not sure what I think of it..!
  2. Bit weird, Everton fans were sure they'd see the back of the likes of him this summer what with them being out of contract. He's pretty crap to be honest.
  3. I saw the Juventus manager linked somewhere, not that is even a close possibility of ever happening. Just thought I'd throw that name out there for a laugh.
  4. We got the best out of Pelle at this level, exactly the same as we did with Lambo. It's probably the right time for him to move on, he'll only get less effective from here on in. If Everton do want him, then I'm not entirely sure what direction they're going in.
  5. Any chance that they will sack Blanc first???? Feel kinda sorry for him...
  6. There does seem to be some mileage in the FdB stuff to be honest. Should be something that can be done pretty quickly.
  7. Will it be like babestation? If so, I'm in.
  8. Blasting the FFP out of the water. Re-smashing the glass ceiling which was excellently broken by Everton and Scott Dann.
  9. That's a pretty big deal to be honest, i think someone hinted to this a while back - it has some USA origins as VM are now owned by Liberty Global.
  10. Lewis Dunk, Scott Dann, Michael Keane. It's the dream.
  11. How long before the media latch onto this? ''The exodus has begun'' ''Metldown ensues''
  12. From what I heard from toffeeweb sources, they're signing Aguero which is why City needed to get this over the line ASAP. Don't think Aubameyang is good enough for Everton tbh
  13. Manchester City are in advanced talks with Borussia Dortmund over the signing of striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Sky sources understand. another target gone.
  14. It's actually a perfect brand point to push, because we did march on after everyone was saying we'd slip away. So we have marched on, twice. If doing something wrong equals two European finishes, then I'd love to know what we can do right to improve on that. Maybe we can bring Adkins back.
  15. I think we're at a slight advantage this summer what with the Euro's, not much will happen or get arranged before then. So we'll need to be 'on it' once it draws to a close.
  16. The fact they have to bring up points such as ''first ever match programme'' ''invention of corner flags'' kinda makes them seem very small time. I didn't think it was possible, but I actually have a little, tiny, inchy bit less hate for your mega-mates across the park.
  17. He's on England duty. Nothing to do with us if he plays or not.
  18. I wouldn't mind a £250m handicap! He made a royal mess of the team at Utd to be honest, given the money he had and the failure he seemed to have integrating any half decent attackers into his team (Di Maria, Depay etc). I think he was a good club manager a few years back, great success in other leagues, but the game has possibly left him behind a bit and I imagine he will retire.
  19. Maybe we're dragging this out so we have our stuff (backroom/manager setup etc) in place before it's confirmed, just a thought.
  20. Have a look at my post on the first page of this thread, I think it's a little lazy to just write off his English football ability based on those two jobs. Those jobs weren't as they looked on the tin, very political.
  21. Why on earth can you get odds on John Hughes?
  22. The thing is, so many clubs have tried this approach. New owners come in and want to make a mark with a great 'big bang' approach, we're going to do this and this etc etc. It very rarely works, and a lot of the 'promises' are never seen. Look at QPR....apparently they were on course to be the mega team in London, new stadium, world famous players. They spent stupid money on the likes of Julio Cesar, Remy, Vargas, Isla, Granero - etc etc. That didn't end well, what so ever. Our own little friends down the road tried the same. Defoe, Crouch, Sol, Kaboul, new stadium in the harbour - it was going to be amazing. Now look where they are. The big bang approach rarely works. Keeping your own council and doing things within your means will ultimately reward you long-term. I wouldn't get too excited just yet Everton.
  23. Jesus, these guys are relentless! small time or what.
