Was that Barry the briefcase sneaking in via the door half way through? They need a bail out for sure.

The telegraph scoops are pretty underwhelming tbh.

Unless clubs learn how to mind-read, there's not much you can do about stuff like this. He knew people, he's made recommendations, he's incredibly stupid and naive. and he's out of a job.
-
Can't read too much into that, your typical hostile away game. Excellent point, we're in a very strong position.
-
He's randomly been suspended by Derby today, no further comment yet.
-
Arsene Wenger imagine that.

Doesn't make much sense going for someone right now, I'd agree. There will be a bit of a merry-go-round this summer in my opinion.
-
Who next then? Steve Bruce? Just give it to Sammy Lee. Although he does have some past in terms of transfers/agents as well, should be a good fit. Good times.

Looks like the love child of Barry the Briefcase and Mike Ashley.

Yeah, 99% of football league clubs signed up to a hosted service, the contracts were around 10 years long when agreed (We agreed ours in the let's go wilde era). So we are finally free of this football league owned trash now, looks like it's totally managed in house by our media guys. Looks like - as long as you have a free account - you have access to all game highlights/full matches for free. That's pretty impressive. Wonder how long that will last.

And so it begins.... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-37474595

It's not really a surprise is it? He's got history with this sort of thing, he's never played it by the books - the fa should have known it. Allardyce has been played as a fool and so have the FA. They can only gone down one road and that's the ''termination'' route. We'll end up with Steve Bruce next. I fully expect this to be the tip of the iceburg, so, so, so much goes on that we're all oblivious to. Let's see how it all plays out, wonder if WHU will get any sanctions for the ''supposed'' Valencia transfer? Would be a laugh if they did, as he has been a totally non-player for them.
-
I think this could well end up being the most difficult game in the group, come away from here with a point and we're laughing.

Yeah, god forbid footballers actually have, you know, a life.

Puel isn't proving anyone wrong, the sane ones among us have always been quite content.

Some of our football in the 2nd half was a joy to watch, can't remember us playing as quick and fluid last season. Some of our attacks reminded me of our MP days. Really exciting as it seems his methods are really hitting home now and things are clicking into place. We've been alright most of the season to be honest, should have beaten both Watford and Sunderland at home and were unlucky away at Arsenal. If you want to see a team who have had a bad start look no further than Stoke or WHU. We've been ticking along nicely really.
-
Redmond has been excellent for us, he was terrific today as well.
-
Nah, leave him out of that **** storm. Horrible setup.

1st half was poor, but we looked the most dangerous and composed when we passed the ball. 2nd half, we came to life. Excellent all over the pitch. Their confidence is fragile and we went for their throats in that 2nd half, something we've not always done in the past. It could - and probably should - have been more than 3-0, it's been the case most of the season - we create chances and openings, we just weren't clinical enough. We're a tidy team, Hoj is easily the best CM we've had since Morgan. Top level player for sure. Romeu is back on form and seems to play that role much better, he was booked in the 9th but was incredibly professional for the rest of that game - excellent display. VVD, as per usual, just looks like he coasts games. He really is destined for the top. Fonte and Cedric were excellent, but Bertrand was my stand out - he makes such a difference to us, I can't think of too many better left backs at this level to be honest. We did well to tie him down. The confidence is flowing right now and some of our football in the 2nd half was a joy to watch, really enjoyable away game. WHU look shell shocked at their new place, doesn't feel like their home at all. Soulless sums it up.

Was thinking exactly the same. I see Sunderland fans are already calling for Moyes out. Are they really that dim? There isn't a manager in the world who could make a decent team out of that rabble, the players they have are incredibly poor and their transfer policy is diabolical. I also see Arsenal are doing the same. Playing well when under little pressure, pundits and fans alike falling for it, but they'll typically fall away come February as per every.single.flaming year once the actual pressure starts.

He was clearly appointed as part of the Koeman package though, along with Jan. New managers are often asked who they want to bring in as their backroom staff, the club wouldn't have appointed Ewin if Koeman wasn't lined up to be our manager.
-
So that's another 3 or so weeks out for Jay.
-
They have a couple of options. They could go with Byram at left back and Antonio at right back. Or what they seem to think is more likely, is to have Nordtveit (midfielder) at right back and Byram at left back - but whatever they put out, the players at full back will be out of their natural position.
-
The issue is when you haven't played properly for over 2 years, your body kinda adjusts to not being put under all the strain of regular competitive football, so the re-introduction of full competitive action will very often come with the risk of frequent niggles and knocks. That will probably be the case for the rest of his career to be honest.

We're getting a new OS, so this will be part of that - no more of this annoying football league generic player crap. but just use youtube, that has anything worth watching on.
