The only thing the January window does is encourage clubs to spend stupid money, it's best keeping out of that window. That's why I think changing it to a 'loan window' will be a better idea. Will still give clubs the options to change/add depth if they need to, but will encourage them to get all their business done before the season starts. The way it should be, it'll just keep the season a lot tidier.

If I'm honest, that would make it worse. There is a tool for clubs to play the dirty and unsettle players most of the season then, no one will have a settled squad at any point. In my opinion, it opens when the season ends (or 1st June) and closes the week before the start of the season (1st August). Scrap the January window as that offers zilch, but allow loans during that month.

The Add-on did cock up for me, but I've just had a bit of time to sort it. In the end, the cleanest way I found was to totally factory reset my FireTV device. I then side-loaded Kodi back onto it, and then re-added the Sportsmania repo - it then grabbed the correct add-on and everything is now working hunky dory. For some reason, I couldn't get Kodi to forget the 'old version'. I even removed Kodi from the device, but it still remembered everything - factory reset was the only way to start again, no idea where it kept all the files tbh and I couldn't be arsed to find out! Tomorrow will be the acid test...but managed to watch a few games (European ones) tonight, and all seemed very good.

I saw something on a Celtic forum which suggested he took a knock and won't be fit anyway, but that could just be tosh. If true though, then we'll prob push it through asap.

And to be fair, it's the only way a club like ourselves can compete. We have to be clever and buy potential or take a gamble on a 'big name' who hasn't quite made it, we can't buy the finished product. Although we can make the finished product for other clubs it seems. But I still surprises me how people don't understand this. They seem to assume that because our billionaire's family are rich, that we can keep all our players and buy lots of expensive players. That's never going to be the case. The policy we deploy will have peaks and troughs, but it's what gives us the best chance to compete, whilst not totally screwing ourselves financially. Huh? You said Fonte and Pelle appear to have missed training, so I said it's unlikely that they'd have trained straight after that game - especially as they've played 90mins in every game so far this season.
