I get BT Sport just for an extra 5 quid p/m as I have their broadband, but will be cancelling sky imminently as there's nothing really premium about it that's worth what they charge. The only bits I do watch are MNF and Super Sunday, but I'm sure Sportsmania will help me out with those! Sky were on the brink of losing the La Liga rights to BT as well, but chucked a bit more money at it in the last min. BT have totally changed the landscape.

This post is a bit all over the place. We're showing the form predicted of us, yet we know we can do better. So what was the form predicted of us? Pelle is pretty pants but is a decent striker? Seriously, have a re-read!

If there's something showing up in his blood that isn't right, then this isn't about football anymore. I remember when Petrov at Villa had similar issues and had a blood test, that was pretty horrendous for him. I really hope it's nothing bad.

Fans scream and shout for ''big signings'' all the time, but for clubs outside of the real elite, how often do they work out? I bet Spurs were so happy and content when they spent £26m on Soldado, £35m on Lamela, £19m on Paulinho. Exciting times, that's all us fans want! Not one of those worked out, not one. We even had a little foray into the ''big name'' signings with Gaston and Osvaldo, and neither worked out at all. I'm much more content spending modest fee's on potential and improving them via the coaching at the club. Much less risk attached for clubs of our size. If you look at the success at clubs of our size - Swansea have did well out of Bony who they bought for a modest fee, Gomis who was a free, Shelvey who was a couple of mill. None of those would have been seen as exciting signings, but they have all been huge successes.

Please save us.

I don't get their point though, along with what posters are trotting out on here. We know we sold those players last summer, we dealt with it and moved on and did better. So what has the relevance of those guys going got to do with now? It's just pointless sensationalist ******** really. Keown summed it up really. ''Well, they can't keep losing players like they have done. They lost Clyne, and Bertrand, umm, is injured'' Yeah, nice one.

What does your Hull City supporting mate think?

The majority of our recruitment over the past 5 years has been top draw, undeniable. There have been a few flakes, as all clubs will get, but we've got it right more often than not.
-
I think the majority of us get it. It's you lot that seemingly don't. This summer we lost Morgan, who we'd all accepted would be gone this window anyway. So i'm not sure why people are using this transfer as a stick to hit the club with. It was obvious it would happen on September 1st last year. Clyne was a deal that made sense for the club. We offered him a contract, we were seemingly advanced with that, but Liverpool came knocking and turned his head. We could have kept him, but then we'd have run the risk of losing one of our best players for zilch. We had to protect our investment so made a decision that made sense for the club. Other than that, we've not lost anyone else. And what are you agreeing with? The club have said, Ronald has said, No one will be leaving. End of discussion. Door shut.

CONFIRMED - Virgil Van Dijk joins on Five Year Deal
S-Clarke replied to Brizzie Saints's topic in The Saints
It looks like it is going by all the reports/talk/ everywhere - and the fact there are no other rumors linking him with anyone else. It's been clear we've wanted him from day 1 and I'd imagine stuff has gone on in the background to a stage where things are agreed in principle ready for a deal to be done. -

Huh? -
There's also a lot of talk about Jack Cork being the savior of all things football. But Clasie isn't an AMC, I don't agree with people who think that. He'll play in a 3 I imagine, with Romeu and Victor. He'll be more of a CM who dictates the pace rather than a marauding AMC. He comes with a lot of pedigree and I've always been impressed with his use of the ball, and how he settled into life in the Dutch team. He's clearly very talented, the only question marks are around his size - but sometimes I think too much is made of that.

The fact is that certain people were made to look very, very, very, very silly last summer. They didn't have much chance to harp back on last season to proclaim they were right, but this is now the perfect opportunity for them to jump back on board the ''asset'-strip'' ******** that was spouted out. And before my friend Dig Dig mentions that I wasn't happy last summer, no there were stages I wasn't and I made my feelings known, but I accepted that the club came through what was an unprecedented situation with a lot of success and plaudits. I put trust in Les Reed and that trust was rewarded. I can admit when I judged a situation wrong, or when I let the emotions get ahead of me, but seemingly some people just can't let it go just so they can get one over on their fellow fans. It's very odd and nothing to do with football what so ever.

What's he chatting about exactly? We sold 2 players we fully expected to sell. Toby was never ours and will be replacement imminently. The club have put their foot down and have categorically said that NO ONE ELSE will be sold. So what is he chatting about? Just waffle to try and make transfer deadline week/day/whatever exciting. Chat about nothing really.

Come on Chez, you're better than this. They're two totally different players.

Post-Match Reaction: SAINTS 1-1 FC Midtjylland

Slight concussion. -
LOL.

Yeah I saw that, seems as if the load balancing across the servers wasn't working as expected - but should be now. This is the first service of this type where the providers have actually admitted a problem though, on others I've used in the past (offsidestreams) they just ignore you if you have any issues and hope you'll go away. I have no idea how long this will last, but it's a notch up on anything I've used streaming wise before.
-
I think most people in the world know he's going to sign tbh. In fact he probably already has bar the signature.

We went back to basics today, had a good shape, good organisation and defended very well as units over the pitch. This meant that we lacked much of an attacking threat, but that wasn't helped by the withdrawal of Mane. I think we just needed to get back to basics with defending, which we did. The goals will come as long as we get the defensive basics correct. Neither team deserved to win, neither team deserved to lose. Playing away at promoted teams in the first bunch of games isn't ideal.

Been using it via Kodi today, bar a drop at around 42mins, it's been totally faultless. Crystal clear stream, HD Quality and no buffering. Very pleased.
-
Stunned by some of the ractions on this thread, it's no where near as bad as some are suggesting. We're doing our job, it's clear that our plan is to nullify the game and see where we are come 60mins or so.
-
Too much gap between the midfield and the attack, thus nothing much happening. Blow to lose Mane, as he was our real threat (as he is most games). Defensively we're a lot better though. Romeu just looks a bit of a player by the way he does things and moves around the pitch.

TSN3, TSN4, CTH Stadium 2 and Extra Time 1 are all showing the game.

A player of Pedro's quality available at £20m, yet WBA's own Berahino going for £21m. He's like 5 or 6 levels down from Pedro. WBA are pretty trash though. Really don't rate them as a team, seemingly no quality what so ever. And any team who has Mclean as a starter deserves to go down.
