  1. I believe you're lost. Just google skatesonline, you'll find your home.
  2. Ah, welcome back 100_percent.
  3. Blimey, didn't realise he was only 26. Thought he was much older. Wouldn't say no, would futureproof that position for a good few years. Good keeper.
  4. That's quite incredible!
  5. For some reason, people bash and question Cortese, but just a quick read of that and also a read of the Hull City stuff, makes you realise that we are one bloody fortunate club.
  6. Ummm, why would we release a statement?
  7. Been fully ruled out that we're not after him now.
  8. Probably on 30+ points, up there with Chelsea, Arsenal etc. He's the sort of player that could make a hell of a difference for us in terms of final third creativity.
  9. One of the names linked is Franco Baldini, and to all purposes he's been signing all their players anyway! He was assistant coach with Capello for England, so could see him taking charge until the New season with maybe Capello for next season, and Franco Baldini standing in as his assistant. I certainty don't see MP going anyway. Just bloody frustrated that once again, we will probably have to face that bloody new manager syndrome. How many times have we been dealt that hand in the last few years???
  10. Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if there's a caretaker in charge of their next game going by this...!
  11. I cannot get over how bad Spurs look, the worst team performance I've seen in years. Utterly clueless in possession and position. I'll be devastated if we don't beat this lot based on what I'm seeing today, especially with their suspensions and injuries. If we play our game with the intensity we do, we should beat them off the pitch and probably get AVB sacked.
  12. Red card for Paulinho. They will struggle to put out a side against us. We should be winning this really, Spurs are dog **** this year.

    Jay Rod

He's a class act, but you just needed to be patient with him. His game is based on confidence, he looks a shell of the player when he's low on confidence....but when he's on fire, he's unbelievably good and he could easily be our focal point for years. He's the only player we have in the final third with a burst of pace and unpredictability.
  14. I didn't think we were much cop in the 1st half, but a lot better in the 2nd - probably down to the introduction of Morgan and Lallana. JWP struggled quite a lot in that first half. Davis was MOTM for me, was terrific. Rodriguez was as well, but I just have a feeling that with a better touch he could have had a 2nd today. Good performance though. Not entirely sure what's up with Rickie at the mo, either him or Osvaldo could have come off after that 1st half, and Rickie didn't really improve much more to be honest. Forgot he was playing for periods of that game. All in all a good point, in a pretty typical game of 2 halves!
  15. No, he hasn't been worse. At least he's able to control a ball at the moment!
  16. That's the spirit Reckon that will happen too..
  17. Jos is pretty poor to be honest, never really a player for this level, which is backed up quite alarmingly by 1) the number of OG's he gets, and 2) the amount of goals we concede with him in the side. It's not a coincidence.
  18. When people were debating if Wanyama was good enough for us, I mentioned that teams no longer attack through us and very few shots are got away from the edge of the box. For some reason I was sarcastically ripped for saying that, however it's plainly true to me that Wanyama gave us that protection as without him we are taken on time, and time again through the middle. As good technicaally as Morgan and Cork were last year, we were way too easy to play through and that's why Wanyama was a priority addition.
  19. Get Lambert off ASAP, he's killing any attack we have with his poor use of the ball and poor touch. he's having a mare right now, needs to be dropped for a while.
  20. I see Arsenal's season is doing it's usual Christmas implosion.
  21. It's not really though is it? It's all about managing a squad over the busy Christmas period. Pointless risking players with any knocks of niggles at the moment, especially with our injuries.
  22. Yeah, he's just too predictable. Out for a wind up, safe to ignore. Watch out for his other 3 login's too.
  23. Will prob be quite a bit of rotation over the next few weeks I'd have thought. Lots of games in a short space of time, and an already thin squad, so we'll need to make sure that players who need to be called upon are in decent condition.
  24. Ah good, another bore fest regarding stadium expansion and fan attendances. Just what I was after.
  25. Great times. They couldn't be further away from us if they'd tried. Love it.
