  1. Probably about that, but I think he's destined to much greater things than us if I'm honest. He's good enough to be playing in the CL, and quality like him deserves to be in it.

I reckon we'll sign a CB...and a utility defender who can cover both full back positions and CB if required. But you're right, those players are thin on the ground...but hopefully we've been out there scouting high and low.

He's not as bad as people make out, but he's still pretty ****. Let's be honest. There's no denying that our entire team sinks to a lower level when he's in it. He might not affect anything directly, but just have a look at the entire back 4's positioning when he's in the side. They're either 2 far over as they're making up for him not being there, or the entire back 4 is too far across because Fox has come inside - hence the gaping holes of space on the left hand side. He's not the worst player that ever lived as some would have you believe, but he's not at a level which will enable us to be competitive in this league.
  4. Chelsea want Lewandowski, and are willing to throw Lukaku back to Dortmand as part of the deal - apparently. Will be interesting, but he won't be joining teams at our level, that's for sure.
  5. Lukaku was insanely good. Showed what a player he is. His movement was brilliant and he pulled our back 4 all around all game, we just couldn't and didn't deal with him full stop.

He was skinned most of the game, caught out of position, misplaced 90% of his passes. WBA played on it and is why they got in so many times down their right hand side. He lowers the quality of our team when he plays, hence why we return to our early season form when he's in it.
  7. Why anyone would want to watch that again is beyond me.
  8. We were absolutely horrific today, a shambolic display. The tone of the game was set in the first minute, it was pretty much over from that point. They then scored on 4 and it was goodnight. We didn't do anything all day. Fox did an impression of a fan playing football, Hooivield was skinned and pulled all over the show all afternoon. Lallana was complete crap, again. And Lambert was easily forgettable as well. Wasn't surprised to see Gaston fail to make an impact again, got a feeling we'll never see him play for us again. Reckon he'll be shipped off sharpish, he's never got going this season at all. Not sure what else to say. Worst home display of the season for me. Luckily it won't really affect us, but christ, what a depressing pile of turd that was.
  9. What a waste of £5,000. Seriously.
  10. 1 minutes silence at Liverpool's next home game?
  11. I think you're confused with Marek Saganowski? He was at Aalborg on loan when they drew 2-2 with Utd at Old Trafford. (and played as well) I have absolutely no idea how I remembered that.
  12. Seriously fella, drop the act. It's becoming boring. We're safe, we're not going to get relegated. We can lose all of our remaining games and still stay up.
  13. You've said this pretty much every week this season. Are you our in house Mark Lawrenson?
  14. If Mayuka is on the list to ''leave'', I'd imagine it's a loan at most to give him some regular playing time. Don't think we'd cast him aside just yet. The other's - can't disagree.
  15. Our game up there was our turning point in my opinion. We were pretty ****, but it was the first game of the season where we weren't taken apart time and time and time again and we actually kept the score down! So even though it was painful viewing, I think fans kind of saw it as a slight improvement and a turn in the right direction. After that we were 5 points adrift at the bottom of the league with the worst GD in the league. Our turn around since that match has been staggering beyond belief. Our form on the back of that game was excellent, we went on a 4 match unbeaten run and stopped the goals going in, and we've never really looked back since then.
  16. View from a Liverpool fan: Well OTT this thread has become. Cut Luis a bit of slack for Goodness sake. Forgive him for his heat of the moment reaction. His first really mad moment since he's been at LFC Yep, that was well heat of the moment. Ivanovich almost killed him, so he had to retaliate....sure. Ok. I can think of many more mad moments, diving, being a racist ****, diving, diving, generally being unlikable. Other than that, his time at Liverpool has been pretty uneventful really. I used to Like Liverpool and their fans, but they are gradually becoming the most deluded and unlikable bunch around.
  17. Possible, although I'm starting to believe that the results this weekend make it 1 from 2. Wigan had a decentish chance when 4 or 5 teams above were all within 2 or 3 points of themselves, now they're adrift of all bar Villa. I'll stick my neck out here and say that the table now will be the table come the end of the season, and I'd probably give Wigan 3 or 4 more points max.
  18. The eagerly anticipated battle for who finishes bottom. QPR will prob win, but they're both dross.
  19. If i were Liverpool, i'd cash in on him ASAP. Don't even rate him that much. Decent player, but not this world-class megastar the media make out. Decent player who is a loon, and could make you £30m+ in the transfer market. Go get your money Liverpool.
  20. Think it'll be decided before then.
  21. Wigan for me, 1 year too many in a relegation scrap. They have no ''sparks'' in their team this year. If you think of previous years, they've had a real quality player who has dragged them through some games. I.e Nzogbia when he was in his pomp, or Moses last year. This year they have nothing, just a bog standard team. Play decent enough football, but weak in very important area's. Think this weekend has put 1 nail into their coffin to be honest.
  22. I don't think there's room in the team for Ramirez full stop tbh.
  23. If this was in January or February, you'd have a point. But there are only 4 games left, so no, we will not be back in the ****e this year. We are safe and secure. We will not get relegated this season. It's safe to start planning for next year in the PL. Personally, I think the return of Cork has created a real blossoming midfield partnership. Morgan and Cork just ''work'', and they play each other like they're seasoned pro's. I wouldn't split them up next year, in fact I'd say those 2 are pivotal to anything we do next year.
  24. No, we don't. We could lose every game and still stay up.
