I find it amazing how the comments moaning about people moaning about it, far exceed the comments from people moaning about it. So, who is moaning?

I don't think we ever really wanted him to be honest. As has been alluded to elsewhere, we don't really play with natural wingers. We play a very condensed game through the middle and a lot of our attacks go through the middle. Our width is supplied by the roaming front 3 and the full backs, so natural width isn't really going to be a part of our game. For a new player to come in, they'd need to be a player who could operate all across the front 3 - not just an out and out winger.

I think Poch also decided he wasn't good enough. Have a look at the stats from last year, he didn't fit in with what Poch was doing with the side. I think this move will open the door for another incoming as well.

Umm, ok. I think most people would agree with what I said. We're signing players at the level of Osvaldo, Lovren and Wanyama. They are many levels above Puncheon. We are building a team which will surpass his ability. That's no disrespect to Puncheon, but he's not a world beater and the plan is for us to do a lot better.

It was an odd one, but if you look at his appearances following Poch's arrival...they slowly and steadily decreased. After being a nailed on starter for Adkins, he was reduced to a bit part player towards the end of last season. So looking it it like that, I don't think Poch ever fancied him as much as Adkins did. Good player, but not at the level we want. Hence why he's gone to Palace, and they're also not our rivals.

They wanted him, they signed him on OUR terms. We dictated that transfer, not them. They could have easily walked away if they wanted, but they agreed to it - so more fool them. Nice to see Wenger is helping him fulfill his potential as well.

Can't see us letting him go without getting someone in, can only assume there has been movement in the last 48 hours with regards to an incoming wide player. Otherwise this just weakens us in an area I felt we were already quite weak in.

They look absolutely shambolic to be honest. Fair to say that City are very fluid tonight, but you've got to try and show some discipline and keep some sort of shape. There's nothing going on out there, even when they attack it's bereft of any ideas.
