i saw a down and out Polish bloke in Hounslow with a saints hat last year, i assumed he had been a down and out in Southampton where he gain his headwear and decided to stick with it.
-
somewhere like Alicante? i remember some pics in the echo
-
it was at a training camp wasn't it? and no crowd, but a couple of the london saints made it i think, played at the end of the season?
-
July 14th is very early for a pre-season tournament, the season is starting later than usual on 18th August so this is 5 weeks before, the players would have only just come back for pre-season training.
-
attendance last year was tiny, hardly anyone there to see the one and only appearance of the flag. and the chance to see the olympic torch will not sell any more tickets as it is coming through the streets of southampton anyway for those who want to see it.
-
he certainly was on saturday, was well off the pace and quite rightly taken off.
-
you can probably pay on the day, we haven't sold out. Last time we played there you could buy tickets at the ground, probably the same again but give them a call to check
-
seeing as we haven't sold out any one know if it is pay on the day?
-
It's actually a new stand with lots of pillars! Still better than what we had before, 2008 was a bloody nightmare uncovered temporary stand in heavy rain and wind.
-
other teams could fill the lower tier but are not given tickets on safety grounds, Leeds for example.
-
yes easily, it is only 5 mins from South Bermondsey to London Bridge, then another 5 from there to waterloo, so even allowing for changing and waiting at Millwall it won't be a problem.
-
Don't think i fancy going back to that west indian pub near Norwood Junction which was clearly a front for other business going on out the back, and the bird who looked like she was on crack and thought she recognised me. Quite like some of the pubs at clapham tucked away.
-
100% definitely NOT . we can't sell 3000 for London this saturday, so won't take over 2k to Blackpool for an evening game on BBC1
-
this saturday is actually pretty good compared to some, no work on northern or jubilee lines the main services out of London Bridge, should be a doddle for you from Paddington take the bakerloo then jubilee
-
you got any info on what the engineering work will be that weekend? i reckon trains diverted around twickenham from the sound of this http://www.southwesttrains.co.uk/AprilEng2012.aspx#92644
-
Yes, Steve got confirmation on twitter from their chairman that Peterborough terrace will still be there for our visit.
-
why can't they give some value for money for the booking fee and send them recorded delivery?
-
Steep prices, but cracking allocation, we are being well catered for in the run in , tickets galore. when was the last time we took just under 6000 to an away game?
-
Do you have to link those with another game as well?
-
It is like the deal you posted up £79 for return train and 2 nights hotel from London, had a look and can get cheap coach or megatrain to London , there should really be a fleet of official and unofficial coaches and mini buses heading up for the trip, with a 5.30pm kick off it wouldn’t be an horrendous early start , then just relax / celebrate on the journey home. One thing is for sure, no complaints for not getting tickets like we had last year at Brentford / Brighton / Bournemouth and Plymouth – not sure where those people are now as we’ve still got plenty of tickets left on general sale for Millwall this Saturday when 3k would have sold out long ago for any other London away game!
-
i agree. with better ticket policies we'd have seen much bigger crowds, i know fans of many other clubs and none of them restricted season ticket sales anything like saints did. My Reading mate is laughing, excellent prices and for the 2nd year as snapped up the early bird deal cheaply regardless of promotion (although remember there are 4 more games in the championship to price per game is covered on promotion)
-
we surely have enough fans based around the salisbury area to run a coach up to a game like this? or so the short drive to southampton and go up from there and back in a day, gets you to the game (potential promotion decider) and back in time for the birthday. as someone said above, for those who really want to be there, they'll find a way
-
there will be some left i reckon, our support hasn't exactly been rushing along to st marys recently, our home average not that high considering we have been top of the league. Would expect this to sell out in the week after the Doncaster game
-
would be brilliant to have 5000 up there on a saturday evening! could be an epic end of the season with thousands going to Peterboro on the Tuesday before , no excuses for not getting tickets in this seasons run in, more than enough to go round, the fixtures have been kind. still loads available for Millwall on saturday - general sale for a London saturday away game.

Saturday night it is http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2656199,00.html thank God for that
