  1. depends on the quality of mlnge you're trying to get back to your hotel i guess fella, if you can promise her a full cooked English breakfast it could be a deal clincher for some of the larger ladies......
  2. anyone who wants a bit of a more civilised hotel to stay in this place has a good offer, £65 for a room on a saturday night, with full breakfast and a carvery meal http://www.travelzoo.com/uk/hotels/uk-coast/-45-Blackpool-Victorian-Hotel-w-Dinner-Wine-Upgrade-1194418/?utm_source=top20_uk&utm_medium=email
  3. or Pompey still have 900 left so get one in their end.
  4. if you really want to be sure, go in chapel, £23 a game so £46 for both, i reckon we won't sell out for Donny and therefore tickets will be available unlinked after that.
  5. best thing about the deal is you can travel up any time other than peak 3.30-7pm so go up friday lunchtime, and on anytime back on the sunday, worth giving them a bell to see what they can offer. cost of getting to London on top though.
  6. congratulations for the most clueless post i've ever read on here, Man United core support is from greater Manchester and due to loyalty points it is the same ones at most away games, not local reds popping along
  7. that just cant be right, for example if we only sell 26k for Doncaster are you telling me they will leave the other unsold tickets for the skates game rather than let people buy them between 24th March and 7th April, that would be ridiculous and promote us straight to the top of the idiot league, i reckon this is just another example of bad communication by the club. they should have offered to link it with other games like Ipswich on a tuesday or Barnsley as plenty of people work shifts etc can't neccessarily do Donny at home but have been to loads of other home games
  8. these chaps are good for the Eastcoast line http://www.superbreak.com/promo/rail.htm we got £99 each for return trains from kings cross and 2 nights hotel in York, but they do Newcastle as well as an option. worth remembering TV games still not done for that weekend, so could get moved still.
  9. i think i will dream tonight about that terrace being packed out for a night game, with a late winner in front of our fans sending us up and the whole end going mental.
  10. i think this is the first actually useful bit of info from Twitter ever! excellent news. i do feel a bit silly now though for going to P'boro v MK Dons and standing in the away end for the play offs last season.
  11. that's the one! i'll be gutted if they change the game, we have booked friday - sunday so will be ok for friday evening, early/late saturday or sunday game, so anything but Monday! we are staying in York though
  12. i don't thnk they can solve it. but there are parts of the country like Luton / tower hamlets, where Islamic extremists consider as their areas where they are particularly active in what they do, so by turning up there it is a way of drawing attention to it.
  13. i was watching EMPIRE on BBC1 with Jeremy Paxman, an excellent bit of television that should be showed in every school in Britain , educational and fascinating, i am proud of the legacy that the British left in so many places. Lawrence of Arabia was game as f*ck

    Millwall Away

the only reason why they won't open it is on police advice or if Millwall can't be bothered with the extra stewarding required, they have used it before, i remember league cup game v Liverpool as an example, if we do sell out quickly and they haven't opened the lower tier you could email both clubs to ask why not http://www.footballgroundguide.com/millwall/
  15. yeah i'll take that bet, reckon it will be 1350 in the away section. would love it if we were promoted at Middlesbrough, a rough old north east away day done a few times, remember going up there on a sunday around 99/00 season, had a few 1-0 wins there, used to remember a pub by Darlington station that was cheapest in the country , already booked for the weekend as well for this one.
  16. he can spot a ladyboy a mile off, you should know what he is like by now Turkish
  17. They have West Ham at home Tuesday 27th March (re-arranged) and have already sold out the away terrace for that so if they demolished before then they'd have to find new seats for them. after that only 3 weeks of home games left, would be strange to knock down a stand with only a couple of games to go?!
  18. i think with Millwall 2 weeks earlier, and Palace a week later there will be plenty who just give Blackpool a swerve, the away stand is large now with plenty of tickets, not only do i think we won't sell out, i think we'll only have 1000 there. then there will be a scramble for tickets for Palace. will be more than enough to go round on general sale for: Leeds Millwall Hull Blackpool Peterborough Middlesbrough so only Palace away that will sell out to season ticket holders in my opinion, so much easier for those who want to go unlike last year scramble for tickets at places like Brentford / Orient / Bournemouth / Plymouth / Brighton
  19. why Blackpool if very lucky? the game is live on BBC1 with an evening kick off, i can't see that many making the journey

    Lambert and Graham

So if Rooney and Bent are out of the squad who has been called up in their place?
  21. To be honest I don't envy fans going to this one, sounds like worst away end in the country http://www.southyorkshiretimes.co.uk/sport/football/doncaster-rovers/why_do_leeds_treat_away_supporters_like_trash_1_4281168
  22. i was there last night and thought he played very well, looking very comfortable at the back and good on the ball, however Carlisle were dreadful so hard to judge him on that. He is a big lad, similar to Martin in a way.
  23. I also think our away form will let us down, especially at Hull, Blackpool, Leeds and Middlesbrough. Birmingham's fixture back log will hopefully effect them, cup replay with chelsea and that can't be next week as round of international games so assume it is pushed a week later to when there is a round of championship games scheduled. Blues have already played 43 games this season, including 8 Europa League, 1 Carling Cup, 4 FA Cup (replay with Wolves) so the Chelsea replay will be their 14th cup game!! 60 game season for a squad of their size is a real challenge, even more so if they end up in the play offs.
  24. these family tickets are ridiculous, just put them all on sale, with fair adult and child prices, clearly there isn't demand of 1 adult 1 child restricted tickets, most people who take kids either go with additional adults or additional kids, rather than just a pair
  25. if you've got a London address you should have no problem blagging a ticket in the home end by calling up
