according to west ham official website mate they had 3500 terrace and 1500 seats, so would expect us to have the same, maybe they have to limit the numbers on the terrace due to safety, will be magic being on there for a game like this if we sell out, can't quite see it myself with Palace the week before already 6000 going and the potential for huge numbers to go to Middlesbrough the saturday after.

skates at home is going to be a lot tougher than some fans realise, i can't beleive how many people i've heard talking about it in terms of not IF we'll win but by how many, could be a shock for some, if they can avoid defeat at St Marys and take one step closer to staying up i don't think we can really sing who the f*ck is laughing now.
-
quality, should change this thread title to 6215ish massive away following, watching sunderland v everton hope our support can be like the 7000 Everton who have made the trip.
-
surely that would be on a mid-week student night not a saturday? i can't handle that going to stick to the beers to avoid the sick bag mate!
-
mate, i can see it now, dopey mugs on the bingo bus getting 10 loyalty points for going on the official travel club coach, others who go by train don't, that is the future.
-
go in the whitehorse road stand behind the goal close to the away fans, would be best bet i reckon. their "ultras" go in the holmesdale road stand at the other end so better not to be at that end celebrating our promotion.
-
so the 500 restricted view (which i can't imagine are that restricted) are the last of the 5817? or an addition to that? the article seems to claim benefit for securing an "additional 500" as if that hadn't been included in the original ticket allocation. still seems to be a ridiculous waste to leave empty blocks in the stand for this game as a sterile area, a few rows with netting like all other clubs use would be enough surely.

i saw someone suggest singing "good luck, in the johstones paint, good luck in the johnstones paint" not bad, but otherwise stick to the usual. also hope the whole ground comes alive for this one, i'm down the chapel end hope it is a bit louder than normal.

Just Wigan and Stoke for me, used to enjoy trips to the North East, remember a particular one to Sunderland on a Tuesday night in 2003 January when we had about 150 maximum there, 1-0 win. Not excited about going to the big teams, I used to dispear at games at old Trafford with the day trippers taking pictures and bags from united store, remember going to Chelsea think it was new years day when we won 4-2, bloke next to us had his Mrs with him who had clearly been to the Harrods sale before the game with plenty of bags, she didn’t look too happy when the mental goal celebrations meant her shopping was trampled on!!
-
it is like the man united effect i think, people get so used to winning they start to lose the excitement and enjoyment of what used to be a rare event getting a home win. People don’t bother to celebrate, or cheer off the players, just head to the gates to set off home with 5-10 mins of the game still to play. Sad really.

i think you might have a chance waiting until wednesday, shame the club haven't indicated exactly how many are still available for it. Have you tried emailing them explaining you are coming over from Sweden?
-
that doesn't really explain it though does it, skates at home we are limited to 29k tickets, we have already sold over that for Doncaster if what the official site says is correct. therefore the question is how many people have bought for Donny and not the skates game. whatever that figure is will indicate how many will be left for general sale next wednesday. even if you didn't want to do the skates game you'd take advantage of buying the priority ticket as surely everyone knows people who'd want it, i certainly do.
-
stupid attitude to take. you'll only take this approach until it effects you, poor service is bad enough, but when they charge you £3 for the privilidge they need to buck their ideas up. hopefully the new system they are going to introduce next year will help, online tool to make buying easy and pick specific seats like other clubs have will be good. the official ticket news said you needed Barnsley and ipswich for Cov so i bought for both, even though i had the offer of a spare season ticket for free for the Ipswich game, i should have double checked with them but that doesn't excuse the fact the information provided was wrong.
-
i wouldn't recomment going on the southern service to East Croydon, it goes right along the coast then up from Hove i think, passing by Havant (skates home to Millwall that day)
-
it says on official website Donny crowd "expected to be over 25k" so even going on the basis that Doncaster will only bring 500 odd that still means a few thousand saints tickets left, they haven't opened the itchen north for the donny game as far as i am aware, so would expect 4k to still be available for skates after the weekend.
-
used to be able to mate, is that the case now and it is window only? doesn't seem fair to do that.
-
these groupsave deals seem to disappear from the net once saints away games are on i've noticed, worth popping down the station and buying them at the window in advance.
-
why are they faffing around with an extra 1000 , just get the full lot on sale!!
-
was that confirmed? fair play if they sell out, pleased really as makes it a proper derby, and they'll spend more at the bars putting more cash into our coffers. have saints been paid by the skates for the tickets yet though?
-
wow, i wonder if they have done that to restrict online sales, or maybe they are waiting for the extra tickets to take it up to 5817
-
anyone had an update from the ticket office today on number of tickets sold?
-
anyone else had numbers sold confirmed by ticket office? i've not sorted this one out yet, wasn't rushing due to 5817 allocation, but guess better get it sorted, where were all these people at Millwall?
-
I am going to set off a smoke grenade at Staplewood and blame it on Tommy Forecast. why would Mellis do that? as a free agent he could sign for the skates for the rest of the season?
-
tickets go on general sale tomorrow http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2642677,00.html just call up and they'll send you one in the post, or alternatively pay on the day as i am sure we won't sell out over 2000 for a late kick off up there. Will be a cracking trip for those who do make the journey so if you can get down there from scotland you should. Game on BBC1 and cameras are across from the away fans so the more there the better to make our support look better.

i just love the fact we had the arrogance to play a weakened team against Barcelona, Richard Dryden would teach Puyol a thing or two
