Not sure how they manage it now, made sense before to call it neutral as same turnstiles were used and it was impossible to segregate behind the stand due to away fans having to go right along the back of the stand to get to the official away blocks
-
Still comfortably winning so justifies the line up, anyone going to Coventry tomorrow for youth Cup game?
-
Assume we'll put a stronger team out at Coventry in the FA Youth Cup tomorrow
-
Not sure that can even be called a u21 line up, I think we've already done enough to qualify in this PL Cup and it's only Colchester so probably putting this side out but not much of a spectacle for the fans who made the effort to go to St Mary's
-
Salisu and ABK knocked out just in time to join up with the Saints training camp, Jones will be pleased with that
-
Agree we should try and get Wood from Newcastle on loan
-
The success of the football team is of such national importance the Argentine govt have even paid for some of the main Barras Bravas (Ultras) to fly over and support the team, they take it to another level. I was at Wembley in June for their game v Italy and Argentine support was superb , England don't even get close.

I'm holding off until tomorrow to buy additional season ticket holder price ones, quite a few I know want to go which hopefully is a good sign there will be a big crowd in for Jones first game. Surprised we haven't announced any friendlies but probably better just to do those behind closed doors without too much fuss. Everton going on tour of Australia for example seems a bit over the top.
-
Apparently PSV still interested in doing a deal, total value £40M split into £25M cash plus Adam Armstrong could get it done
-
Could see that, especially with Palace, Charlton and Millwall all having home draws
-
Awful draw made even worse if train strikes are on. A few days before we play Forest at home, few days after we might have league Cup 1/4 final so can see this game taking low priority
-
Wear shorts and try to get in as a u16 tickets a bit cheaper
-
Can't see Jones taking this too seriously when you look at the fixtures around it with Forest at home few days before and possibly league Cup 1/4 final few days after (and Everton away in the league)
-
Agreed, few more I'd add to the list as new grounds to visit would take any of those Chesterfield Grimsby Forest Green Shrewsbury Boreham Wood Burton Albion Fleetwood Town
-
You can go very close to the away fans here https://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2022/november/11/southampton-riverside-upper-on-sale/
-
Absolute chaos, big fine for Sports Republic to pay probably. Hopefully we get to play them pre season and show them what real support looks like
-
Looks like they're not taking this league Cup competition too seriously based on results
-
It's beyond my comprehension that someone would pay that to watch Fulham v Southampton, I remember going to Fulham around 1998 and paying a tenner to stand on the terrace, it's now £60 for a kid according to that article, crazy.
-
There's some poor teams in this tournament, that Welsh side looked Championship standard at best
-
General sale in home end, prices are a bit steep though https://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2022/november/11/southampton-riverside-upper-on-sale/

Don't think it's hummel, it's an outsourced distribution company, probably thought we'd save a few quid using them but another poor commercial decision. I remember the LD Sports shirts that became obsolete as the company didn't exist, more great due diligence that was - never been properly explained by Semmens. Ended up making more kits (Not UA) probably lost money on them
-
Havant and Waterlooville looks worth a visit for that burger
-
Outsourced distribution probably, Saints don't seem to have much lucky commercially we've seen some right shambles over the last few years.
-
Fancy the Dutch to win this one, 2-1 prediction

"You've got to love him" says the commentator, no chance he's the most annoying player in the Premier league
