He was crap yesterday. Properly crap. But he was a CB playing at RB. If you look at his numerous **** ups they were basically due to him drifting into his natural position of CB and leaving (massive) gaps at RB. You could argue that as a professional footballer he should have the nouse not to do that, but you might also argue that if he was playing in his accustomed position he wouldn't be responsible for such an inept sh!tshow.

I really miss Pastor Patron's contributions. Also Roger, anyone know what happened to him?

Agreed, and if he ever is playing against us please god the opposition's gilt edged chances all fall to him.

I find it incredible that a striker at the top level of football is as bad as he is at finishing. The problem seems to be worse if he has time to think about what he is going to do as per that chance where he had time to take a touch and could have picked his spot left or right but ended up commiting that shocking pass back to their keeper. Also the incident where he was basically one on one with him (the keeper) and bizarrely chose to slow down instead of speed past him. Contrast that with the Wolves goal, cross - head - goal. Despite all that I still like the guy, he's always making a nuisance of himself, and the fact he keeps returning to the starting 11 kind of proves that he is very good at everything apart from scoring.

Vestergaard's **** up obviously should have lead to a goal but he has put in a couple of important blocks. Ultimately he is just way too slow for this league though.
