  1. Right. Forget the devastation of today and let's just pretend we got a streaky undeserved point. This now comes down to a 1 season game. Just go and win this - which we should if we play like we did today and last week, and in the first half against Chelsea. Our form is decent, we can do this.
  2. Exactly the same today with Bertrand.
  3. Positive spin. Genuinely like it, no doubt that's what Hughes will be saying. We can still do this but ****ing hell that is properly devastating today, it really is.
  4. Emotion may come into play I suspect. Ultimately we have to look beyond today - as gutting as it was - and consider who the **** is responsible for keeping Pellegrino in a job for so ****ing long when it was so ****ing obvious that he was totally and uttterly ****ing out of his depth well before the end of the last calendar year. Hughes has shown that, given a reasonable amount of time a half decent manager would have kept us up. Now here we are biting our cuticles sat on a knife edge. Take a bow Les.
  5. It really was. That was the last time I felt this devastated after a last nano-second equaliser. ****sake that and losing Yoshida for the Swansea game might have done us I think.
  6. He is one exceptionally dodgy player.
  7. We can still do this, but by christ that hurts. I want that pr!ck Reed sacked whether or not we stay up.
  8. For C U N T I N G F U C K'S SAKE
  9. We look comfortably better than at any time under that plank Pellegrino (except, ironically the home game against Everton but that was down them being in disarray). Convinced if we'd got rid of him even just 2 or 3 games earlier we'd have been fine. C'mon Saints lets do this.
  10. Superb stream that. Cheers.
  11. Not really. Would prefer Dunk, and Duffy for that matter, than any of our CB's. Murray would be a useful option and would much rather have him than that fella we bought for £19m who doesn't score goals, and lately doesn't even make it onto the bench.
  12. Like I say, I'm no fan of his and neither would I get on any player's back, but I was watching the game in which he was instrumental in setting up the first goal, good skill to flick it over his man and pass it on. Generally he wasn't great but he wasn't atrocious which is what he was accused of being.
  13. Good point well put
  14. Dreadful manager, awful 1 star appointment by Leicester particularly given the warning his time with us provided.
  15. No he wasn't. I'm no fan of his but he simply was not atrocious. Anyway, great atmosphere today.
  16. That really was ridiculous, and there were quite a few of them.
  17. Complete contrast to last week’s flat crap effort. Great atmosphere today. We are a poor football team with honours going to Hoedt who is scarily out of his depth, but half this league is crap and a semi competent manager would have seen us safe by now no bother. Instead we had Mauricio Pellegrino and here we are clinging on by our fingertips because of him.
  18. Hoedt spectacularly out of his depth at this level
  19. Powderpuff.
  20. Agreed. Right up there with referring to Pompey as "Poopey".

I was told to sit down during a first half rendition of "Stand up if you love the saints"

It felt to me like 2 sets of apathetic fans who were apathetic for completely different reasons. An F.A Cup semi final is all a bit routine for Chelsea fans to get excited over and we seem to have collectively accepted our fate to the extent that when the first goal went in and the commentator announced it to the fairly full concourse I was on barely an eyebrow was raised. "Oh well, the inevitable has happened. Whatever".
  23. Hmmmmm maybe that. Maybe that, Fry.
  24. Thought it was flat and uninspiring throughout. 1 star yet again.
