How would anyone feel if it was their daughter that this pond-life took advantage of. I would want to break his legs.

You could put Jesus Christ up against Blatter and even he wouldn't win. Blatter and his cronies are all on the corruption gravy train. Platini should grow a pair, I won't hold my breath though. Greg Dyke surely has to pursue this.

Successive Governments should have made if a lot harder for businesses to close final salary schemes. At the very least they should have offered incentives to firms to keep them open. Gordon Brown's decision to hit the pension funds with nothing more than a windfall tax was a catastrophic error in judgement. Still, I don't suppose the decision personally affected the upstanding members of parliament. Almost as crooked as FIFA.

Stay in UEFA, unilaterally pull out of FIFA, and let any country without a conscience enjoy future World Cups and more corruption. I honestly wouldn't be bothered if only England pulled out. The World Cup and FIFA are tainted and rotten to the core.

Exactly how I see it.

All he has to do is take his shirt off after scoring against Burnley. Job done.

Well-reasoned post, but the fact remains that no matter how affluent or poor our small island is, we can only sustain a population of so much.

Nutshell.

It is an organisation that is nigh on impossible to change with your vote.

Idiot jocks, voting against independence and then all voting SNP at the next election. Still, will give them something to moan about.

Sorry Sevvy, I couldn't give a f*ck. -
The white card is supposed to be given for going on at the ref. I agree with it completely. Leave the substitutions as they are. Would also like to see retrospective punishments for diving.

I am a lifelong Labour voter seriously considering voting UKIP at the election. The Tories are still self-serving, LibDems still wishy washy, and Labour seem lost and have as bad a political leader that I can remember. I don't like the undemocratic nature of Europe. It is about as straight as FIFA. I would happily vote out in a referendum. So vote Nigel and get Ed, I don't think so. UKIP will take votes from both the main parties.

I am struggling to understand how a Prime Minister can be blamed for bankers either side of the pond performing like backstreet bookies.

They are a very limited team, and thanks to Moses Swan Lake dive yesterday, the ref on Saturday will be wise to him. Totally understand Monk's post-match reaction. Can't see their donkey midfield living with ours.

Top professional and a very underrated player. Great news. Get Corky tied down now. -
Does he mention Justin Edinburgh goading him in the FA Cup Final with 'come on then, come on then, you f*cking Irish c*nt'? He did nothing. He tried to whack Shearer and missed, leaving Shearer laughing at him as he got his red card. He was a great player, but is nothing more than a playground bully picking on the little kids.

Whatever you do, don't apply for a job with the Samaritans.

Adam who?

Good player. Thought he did well against Newcastle, really unsettled their defence. He'll do well for us.

Targett had 2 players on him in second half v Arsenal, Mane didn't help him out. Long works as hard as any pro I've seen. He'll start on Saturday. Mane needs to get acquainted with his role. That said, he looks decent.

Just got back. Great performance. Pelle led the line really well. Jack Wilshere is crap. Pain in the arse trying to get back to the tube, god knows how I got to Waterloo, didn't have a clue what I was doing.
