I'm an ex Sholing player. It was a VAT bill that the social club couldn't pay that was their downfall. Allegedly, 'hands in tills' over a number of years was more to do with their downfall, allegedly.
If the terracing was like the terracing in the Bundesliga, I wouldn't have a problem. Seems safe as everyone has an allotted seat/space, so overcrowding shouldn't be a problem. If it's just a ploy to increase ground capacities by ripping seats out and packing out the terraces I would be against it.
Would like to get rid of about 3 stone. If I could achieve this by over-eating, taking little exercise and drinking more then I should be fine.
If not, and I require willpower to achieve my goal, then sadly I fear I'll fail, like I do every year.
Doesn't make good reading does it. I haven't given up on Gaston and from what I've seen Osvaldo has looked absolute class at times. It is very difficult to make a case for the others you've mentioned though. The transfer committee method looks like a busted flush to me.
i would add another keeper to the January list as well. How well is McCarthy playing at Reading. If Adkins thinks Gazza is so great we can chuck him in as part of the deal!
Good post, by the way.
Ideally none of Fox, Jos and Gazza will be playing.
For Fox not to play we would need 1 of Clyne or Shaw to be fit. If neither we're fit we could play Chambers left and Cork or Davis at right back.
For Jos to be dropped we would need Fonte to be fit. If Fonte isn't fit, then I would rather play Cork there. I would even play Yoshida.
Gazza is more tricky. The only alternative seems to be Cropper. If he isn't being considered at the moment, I can only conclude he isn't very good. Alternatively, we could play Cork there.
