  1. That would be quality. It would only be my baldness preventing me from celebrating this by getting a Keegan perm. Unfortunately, I'd look more like Alan Brazil.
  2. I have very fond memories of the 80s.
  3. So what, you're at a football match.
  4. Cortese did appoint him, but he's not presently involved in football. To be honest, I'm not sure if he ever will be again. If Cortese left over budget cuts it's possible that MP will walk. I'm not sure that's the case though. It depends on what you believe. Personally, I think Cortese threw his toys out of the pram when Liebherr insisted on a better corporate structure. Where else will Cortese have the freedom to do as he wants with someone else's money. Nowhere in my opinion. He could be a long time out of the game. Can't see MP going out on a limb waiting for his next project. I really hope MP stays. Would love the club to give him a longer deal.
  5. Funny, I could have sworn that Gaston was wide right when he came on.
  6. He's been poor recently, so I wouldn't be surprised if he was dropped.
  7. I don't think it's 'not scoring'. It's more that we don't convert a high enough percentage of the numerous chances we create. That would be an interesting stat.
  8. At least Gaston was looking to go forward yesterday, on the odd occasion he was actually given the ball. Don't see it as a straight choice between him and Davis. There are other players in the side that could be dropped.
  9. Offer him a longer deal now. If he's not interested get a new manager at the end of the season. Would really like him to stay.
  10. Wouldn't bother me.
  11. Good post. Liverpool are a quality side, and I'd have bitten your hand off for top 10 this season.
  12. I'd give the lad a run of games now. Lambert has been gash recently. Gallagher needs games and Lambert needs a kick up the arse.
  13. Agree about Chambers.
  14. We have to be more clinical with our chances. Lambert was terrible.
  15. Fair play to you. Personally, I'd spend my way out of trouble but each to their own.
  16. The Cowherds on bank holiday Mondays was great as well.
  17. The Pier, Simons Wine Bar, Spermbanks, The Oriental, Spa, Wig and Pen (on all dayers), the bar/restaurant in Ocean Village great in the Summer (can't remember its name), The Manor in Swanage Close, Woolston. Happy days. Spent most of the time between the ages of 16 and 25 in a drunken stupor. Weekend started on a Thursday. Spewing on a Sunday morning before a game was a very much standard ritual.
  18. Tell her, but give her an afternoon with the credit card to soften the blow. You're in sh*t street. Financial gifts or separation are your only options.
  19. Brett Ormerod had a horse, a son called Harold and a rag & bone business.
  20. A much better, simpler, safer and cheaper system than the abortion that is now in place.
  21. There was something on South Today a few weeks ago about a young mother and her child who lived in a disgracefully damp sh*thole of a place in Reading. She was on housing benefit and the landlord was receiving £800 per month. I sort of know where the OP is coming from. Private rent funded by the taxpayer seems extraordinarily high.
  22. Ramirez was brilliant when he came on. The only bright light on a dark day.
  23. Posters like alpine, and the other trolls, are the reason I won't be paying my fiver this year. Mods are ****e, 75% of posts are trolling ****e.
