Cortese did appoint him, but he's not presently involved in football. To be honest, I'm not sure if he ever will be again. If Cortese left over budget cuts it's possible that MP will walk. I'm not sure that's the case though. It depends on what you believe. Personally, I think Cortese threw his toys out of the pram when Liebherr insisted on a better corporate structure. I don't think it's 'not scoring'. It's more that we don't convert a high enough percentage of the numerous chances we create. That would be an interesting stat.

At least Gaston was looking to go forward yesterday, on the odd occasion he was actually given the ball. Don't see it as a straight choice between him and Davis. There are other players in the side that could be dropped.
