Thought he handled the questions well.

Give the lad a chance. Mind you, I think the ref out-sprinted him today!

I think the WBA game proved that rather than set up for the opposition, our best bet is to stick to what we do best. Wonder if Long will start in front of Pelle. I reckon he'll give Terry and Cahill a much tougher game than Graziano would.

My dislike of Clarkson is matched by my dislike of the BBC. All we get off this once great institution is programmes about cooking your dinner, or decorating your house. Boring. They're talking about getting kids into technology, why, I pay my license fee so they can put decent programmes on the telly.

Looked like he was really playing for himself when he cleared one off the line against Spurs.
-
Laughed at Milliband yesterday on the BBC, giving the impression he was some sort of hard nut because he didn't get bullied at school. Seriously, who is running his PR. Comes across as more of a tool every time I see him. If his brother was in charge (cheers TUC), Labour would be running away with this election. Ed will get decimated. If they can't get even get my vote, they're going to really struggle. Reckon we'll have to put up with the Tories for another 5 years.

Twirl.

Tries to give the impression that he's a bit of a geezer. Educated at public school and is a phoney ***t. The other 2 Top gear presenters are exactly the same. Top Gear? Top Sh!te.

It's not just his defending that's top class, he is great at bringing the ball out from the back. i reckon Ron will offer him the Earth to stay. Whether he does or not, who knows. But him and Morgan are players we need to keep. Clyne I'm not as bothered about. Been ordinary in recent games.

Did a fantastic job for us in the Championship. Not good enough for the Prem, but had a good contract to make up for it. Worth every penny.
-
Jimmy Redpath, sadly.

Everton kept Baines, Coleman and Barkley, and signed Lukaku. Why is it beyond us to keep Morgan?

Two points for clarification from last nights game
Wade Garrett replied to lifeintheslowlane's topic in The Saints
Don't think we should put the ball out for an injured player. There's nothing wrong with them most of the time. We definitely shouldn't have given them the ball back last night. The ref can't enforce it if we don't. -

Very positive performance from Djuricic. Scrappy goal, but who cares. Clyne didn't have his best game for us tonight. -
Schneiderlin: 'Players to start making runs again'
Wade Garrett replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
Sounds to me like Pelle hasn't been making the runs because he doesn't get the ball enough. Would certainly tie in with what I've actually observed. Pelle will probably be back in tonight by the sounds of it. Hopefully, this conversation can help turn things round for him and the team. -
Winner of the Daily Dime Bar. Well done.

Forster Clyne, Toby, Fonte, Bertrand Tadic, Vic, Morgan, Elia, Long, Mane 4-4-2. If we play 4-3-3, Pardew will tactically negate our full backs attacking. Could even play this as a diamond.
-
Would be interested in Everton's finances. They seem to be on a higher level to us, but I doubt there income/wealth is exponentially more than ours. They've kept Baines, Coleman and up until now, Barkley. They signed Lukaku. It can be done.

Pitches are wide as well as long. Good players find space and create space.
-
Dont agree. You need mobile forwards who can make runs in behind, to either take it on themselves, or create space for others. It's all very well having quality on the ball, but it's irrelevant if there's no movement. Recently, we have gone back to square passing, or passing backwards because of lack of options in front. This is in part, due to teams parking the bus, and also in part to poor movement up front.
-
Yes they are. They have set incredibly high standards for themselves. I was posting in the context of Ronald being seemingly blamed for our mini slump because if his 'one-dimensional thinking'.
-
Think that's a bit harsh, small squad, players injured, suspended or woefully out of form. Sometimes you have to blame the players on the pitch rather than the manager. Would love the board to give him a 5 year deal and another 5 year plan.
-
If Ron is going to play him on Tuesday, he needs to play a front 2. Pelle can't occupy the defenders on his own the way we need him to. Reckon Long up front on his own would be a better bet.
-
Definitely another forward to supplement what we already have, then replacing whoever leaves in the Summer. Would also like a keeper who can challenge Forster and keep him on his toes. Would like to see Reed given a real chance next season.
-
Ings is definitely available in the Summer, Austin more than likely would be if QPR go down.
