We'll win 3-1, Di Canio will push the ref over, who'll do a comedy tumble then fall on his arse. MP will then put a brown trench coat on and do a Bob Stokoe comedy dance all over the pitch. Looking forward to it.

Family from hell given large home, could be in you're area.
Wade Garrett replied to sfc1971's topic in The Lounge
Never mind about helping this family, how about helping the countless people whose lives they've made a misery. Sorry to sound harsh, but in this case, f*ck them. Stop helping them, force them to help themselves. The welfare state wasn't created as a lifestyle choice, stop their money. -

Just give the neighbours a free hand to sort them out if there's any trouble. If the parents knew that might lose another tooth or two if their kids step out of line, they might start acting responsible for them. I despair of the 'underclass' that has been created by successive wishy washy governments. -
Be interested if Moyes team will play the expansive, quick football that Utd play at the moment.

Watched the first half of the play off last night, thought he played well. Would definitely be a good addition to our squad.

I probably know as much about the game as you, but to be fair, I have consistently said the same thing about Gaston for quite some time.
-
It's not just you. The game is bent. The effort to block the goal was laughable.
-
Sorry, just my opinion. Should have made it a bit clearer so that you understood.

Would they be able to match his wages?

At least 1 team out of Wigan, Norwich, Sunderland and Newcastle will get no more than a point between now and the end of the season. Alpine, chill out, we're OK.

Stoke gave a real master class in how not to play against 10 men. They were shocking.

Fortunately, this is only a message board. I don't think he'll be that worried.

I still reckon we're safe on 39.

My Player Twin - who do you look like?

Agree entirely with your second paragraph.

Personally, I believe in a trading relationship with Europe, not political integration. I think the NHS is top heavy with executive management who get paid an absolute fortune. Hospitals would be better run by healthcare professionals. I also think he best nurses are the ones who start from the bottom within the NHS, rather than be jettisoned in from University. All children should have access to a decent education. I'm against mixed ability classes, but also against the idea of he 2 tier education system you get with Grammar schools. Not too bothered about the flat rate of tax, as long as the loopholes used by the rich and famous to pay next to nothing were closed. I also believe in workers having fair and decent working conditions. On balance, I wouldn't vote UKIP. But if this makes the 2 mainstream parties take notice, and change some of their policies, that can only be good.

Wigan lose v Swansea, or Norwich lose to WBA and I reckon we're safe on 39.

Tottenham 1-0 Southampton // Post-Match Reaction
Wade Garrett replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
The least we needed was a decent performance, just to get WBA out of our system. We should have a bit more confidence going into the last 2 games. Fingers crossed that Swansea beat Wigan. -
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-22396690 Oddly, I find myself agreeing with quite a few of their beliefs.

John Terry back in the England set-up ?
Wade Garrett replied to alpine_saint's topic in General Sports
If Roy picks Terry, my dwindling interest in international football will disappear completely. It's not far from that now to be honest. Terrible managerial appointment by the FA. -
Unbelievable that someone not even good enough for Wessex League football has actually had a pro contract with us for the last 5 years. I would imagine the scouts will be watching junior league football at the Veracity this afternoon, looking for his replacement.

This summers dream signing would be??

Good shout. -
If West Brom play as well against Wigan as they did against us, they'll win. I was very impressed with them.
-
I would be very disappointed with 17th. Hopefully any complacency the team had was knocked out of them last Saturday. Spurs is a very tough game. But we should pick up points elsewhere, as long as we don't throw in any more stinkers.

Fair play to him. He's made a fortune out of the game. He is boxing's version of Tommy Forecast.
