I remember us beating Villa 4-1 at the Dell and a copper chasing a Villa fan dressed as a chicken round the pitch. Funny as f*ck. Nothing wrong with fancy dress and Mexican waves.

Are you getting me mixed up with someone else? What exactly have I said to disagree with your point? I'm a docker, so are all my mates, and my family.

What about middle-class dockers?

When Gaston got sent off, he gave us the free-kick. He clearly pointed towards their goal. I don't reckon he saw Gaston's arm, and was influenced by what happened after. Stopping the game in the first half, when we had a clear advantage, and then stopping us taking a quick free-kick, by comically making us put the ball back a yard, was at best, incompetent. I don't blame him for the result, or for the dismissals, which were correct, but he was out of his depth. He was crap.

Thought WBA support yesterday was brilliant.

The sending offs were correct. But apart from that he missed a lot, and didn't let the game flow at all. Mind you, he wasn't as bad as 80% of our side today. We were well beaten, end of story.

Our players get plenty of rest time between games. I'm not buying the tired excuse. Today we were made to look pretty poor by a very decent WBA side. We need to improve, that's life.

100% agree.

SAINTS 0-3 West Bromwich Albion // Post-Match Reaction

They did look so much better than us all over the pitch. -
We shouldn't be any more tired than WBA. Lame excuse.

Fox and Jos were utter garbage today. But Lambert was just as bad, and at least the other 2 looked bothered about being crap.

Cocktail. Total crap. There is one scene with Tom Cruise, and every time the camera goes back to him he's got a different haircut. The continuity was better than the storyline and acting though. Best film ever made is Roadhouse.

And to prove my point, John Terry now wants to play for England again at the next world cup after quitting international football. Nothing whatsoever about putting himself in the shop window when his Chelsea contract runs out at the end of next season. What a tosser. I hope the FA, and Roy, tell him to f*ck right off.

I think Suarez got 10 matches because he's got teeth like a horse and could eat an apple through a letterbox. Defoe has got smaller teeth, so a yellow was deemed sufficient. Ivanovic is lucky he didn't lose his arm.

Closest I've come to tears at a football match, when we paid tribute to Bally at the match v Southend.

Hodgson is another MacLaren, and is getting found out at this level. I have gone right off international football. Players, generally, aren't interested either, and pull out of squads at the drop of a hat. Only when the opportunity to market their individual 'brands' at a World Cup do they even start to give a toss. Playing for your country, no longer seems to have the honour that it did with players of yesteryear.

I reckon with a fully fit Lambert, we are due to give out a real hammering. I'm going for a 6-1 win.

Players who impressed you in the lower leagues who haven't progressed.

Andy Williams, destroyed us at St Mary's in our first season in League 1. Scored a cracking winner for Bristol Rovers in their 3-2 win. -
I've heard they're going to spend a couple of million turning the pitch 360 degrees.

Done. I'm doing my bit by generating my own wind. Unfortunately, my wife doesn't appreciate the Dutch Oven.

Liverpool under Shankly and Paisley would routinely put new signings in the reserves for a season before giving them their chance. It let them settle into the clubs playing philosophy, and made them hungry for success. Worked fairly well for them.

Couldn't even see him getting on our bench.

I got infracted just for calling some c*nt a c*nt. You couldn't make it up

I suspect we're on opposite sides of the middle ground in politics, but what you say about the NHS is spot on. In my opinion, it is a failing system, and like you, I don't think it's a straight choice between public and private. Look at the French health system, that should be the model we follow. Successive governments pour money into the NHS, but is this improving the service? From my own experiences, I would say definitely not.

Typical ignorant comment regarding the docks.
