  1. And clearly against their 'principles' judging by the decisions they have made on Government.
  2. You're all for changes that give the Tories a helping hand. If you're that confident about the next election it wouldn't bother you either way. I don't think the next election is a foregone conclusion either way. Ed M has yet to convince me that he would be a good leader, the Tories are ****ing people off left, right and centre, and the Lib Dems are being shown up for the unprincipled opportunists they've always been.
  3. AV is more flawed than first past the post, so probably a no from me. As a caveat, I don't want the number of MPs reduced or boundaries changed. It is a little hypocritical of Cameron to want a smaller Government, when he's just had is knuckles rapped for making too many Lords up. I don't really blame him for this, but if he wants to make savings, then it should be on the Lords side.
  4. Forte came on as sub against MK Dons and scored 2, came on as sub second half v Rochdale and played well, and I thought he had a decent game on the left with Dickson on Saturday. If Barnard is out, then we could play Guly up front (not sure who would play right), or keep Guly and Forte wide and play Lallana with Lambert. They played together a bit last season and did well. Or play Connolly up front and have Gully and Lallana playing wide. For all the moaning about not signing this player or that, we aren't exactly chucking youth teamers in are we.
  5. I also heard this from my brother who heard it from a source close to the family. My brother is full of sh*t though.
  6. I thought we created quite a few chances. Much better than the hit and hope we played in the last 15 minutes of games last season.
  7. The only time I can remember it happen was when those dirty skate bastards laid down for WBA when we went down.
  8. I couldn't give two f*cks whether they wheel out their best team or not. They're not exactly Man Utd, and struggled to beat Dagenham and Swindon recently. If we play well there's no reason why we can't turn them over.
  9. Adkins will have the advantage of knowing Huddersfield's result in advance, and it will have a major bearing on his team selection. I think the Brentford away game will be tougher than the Brighton one.
  10. I was really puzzled why we switched Forte and Guly in the first half. Dickson and Forte down the left side were excellent. Thought Dickson, Forte and Connolly looked good today. Less impressed with Butterfield (a real off day for him), and Hammond and Stephens didn't get hold of the game in midfield. Rovers really parked the bus today, quite often they had 10 men behind the ball. Despite this we still created a number of chances, and to the players credit they didn't panic.
  11. We are going to hammer the carrott crunchers tomorrow.
  12. Even Norman Tebbit, every right-wingers wet dream, is firmly against the Government plans for the NHS.
  13. Was it made with special bricks?
  14. He'll get off easy if the jury are Saints fans.
  15. Nursery schools are good for young kids development, although for a lot of career parents it's just a glorified babysitting service.
  16. I've never heard it called that before you pervert.
  17. I think we'd go 4-4-2 all day long if Lallana amd AOC are fit. Unfortunately they're not so Nigel is trying to make us harder to break down. Personally, I think we have enough in the squad to roll most teams over with 4-4-2. Certainly sounded better in the second half last night.
  18. Hardly appropriate in MacDonalds though.
  19. I reckon we'll sign 2 or 3 decent players in the Summer, financed by AOC's transfer.
  20. Match day rituals make no difference to the outcome of a football match you mad bastards.
  21. Bullsh*t. I have 2 kids, both at school, and despair of the lazy f*ckers who drive their kids to school and think they can park where they like. W@nkers.
  22. Spot on.
  23. He was garbage. Easily as bad as Askham, not a patch on Woodford. He would rather use the club's money to prop up the share price than spend it on players, he didn't back his managers, and he gave the useless Wigley the job. Our Youth system in the 70s and 80s produced a lot more quality players than Rupert's did.
  24. He looks like Peter Beardsley's lovechild.
