Exciting young Saints players who have not made the grade
Wade Garrett replied to maysie's topic in The Saints
Never made it? Isn't he banging them in for Celtic, and got quite a bit of Champions League under his belt? -
Why would they agree now to dispense with Pardew, yet still keep him to the end of the season. Can't see it.
-
Hope their sponsorship is better than their billing. F*cking useless.
-
Great idea. Let the Labour Party die, without funding, and let the Tories in for generations to come. I've been in a Trade Union for years. I don't see that the Government should blindly back any strike, for fear of having their funding taken away.
-
They look really hard in a big gang with a load of police between them and the Pompey fans. I bet they even swore a little bit. I hope their mum's don't find out. I'll take the f*cking lot of 'em, tossers.
-
Give Pardew the time he's been promised. Madness to do otherwise. It's not like Fabio Capello is waiting in the wings.
-
We need a plan B to fall back on when we are playing on crappy pitches against physical sides. That said, no need to panic. It's all about next season.

Sorry, I didn't mean that all of the youth are feral, I meant that the government have to sort out the youths that are feral. Are you saying that we don't have a problem with feral youth?
-
What the country needs is a sobering dose of reality, and a willingness to tackle the big problems the country faces - getting people back to work, reducing the welfare state, improving the NHS, having a coherent immigration policy, sorting out the feral youth and the criminal underclass. Unfortunately, Cameron and Brown both seem unwilling to really address these issues. Don't get me wrong, I detested Thatcher and everything she stood for. But at least she had the courage of her convictions and saw things through. So I accept you have a point. We need a leader that has the courage of their convictions. The only difference is you want a Tory, and I want a Labour man.

You could argue that the tax burden is due to the Tory idiots in the City who took the whole banking system to the point of bankruptcy. That's the free market for you.

Call me old-fashioned, but what's wrong with a trusty old w@nk.

Bet alpine is fuming it wasn't 6.

Bridgey Pulls out of England... I bet he wishes Terry pulled out of his ex-missus. I'm here all week.

An iron and a vacuous bimbo. Big deal.

Is that scott's as in Terry Scott? I quite liked Terry and June.

What annoys me is this scenario - They've already borrowed against their future TV revenue, they go into admin, pay x pence in the pound to settle this debt, and then get their full entitlement of TV money. It stinks, and can't be allowed to happen. They should be liquidated.
-
How is that helping then. No money advances, and they dish out the money themselves to the creditors. HMRC and other creditors are still in exactly the same boat. I don't think they will find it straightforward going into administration. God knows where Sky get their sources. Remember the Pinnacle/Fialka saga, remember the reports about South Africans. They are just being spoon fed bullsh*t from Storrie in my opinion, to try and keep the fans off his back.

I agree completely.

A complete load of rubbish, written by that 'credible?' journo Alan Nixon. PL can't do deals like this behind the backs of other clubs, some of whom have been quite damning and completely unsympathetic of Pompeys plight.

Davis went from the ridiculous to the sublime. 2 fumbles followed by 2 world class saves. Haven't really got a good word to say about anyone else, except Puncheon, who looked dangerous at times, and at least looked like he could run with the ball at his feet. I have a bit of a problem with how Lambert is being used. For me he should stay up front, he was even back last night defending throw-ins. Why we don't leave even 1 forward up the pitch when we're defending corners I'll never know. Why Lambert has to take free-kicks 45 yards from goal, when he should be in the box I'll never know. Why Lambert is the one crossing the ball into the box from wide positions in open play, I'll never know. Please don't misunderstand me. I'm not having a go at Lambert. Just questioning how he is being asked to play.

Premier League have made it clear that they will do nothing outside the set down rules to help Portsmouth, and nor should they.
-
What, you mean them going under and him and Gaydamak developing land that has no development potential while there is a football club their? Surely not.:smt039

Keith, I don't doubt what you are saying, but if it is just the Heathrow cabin crew, how did 81% of voters (in an 80% turnout) vote for strike action?
-
I'm going. If anyone wants to talk to me I'll be wearing a hat and light blue coat.

She doesn't look that flat to me.
