  1. I reckon this sort of thing, and bribing of World Cup refs has been going on for years, and Blatter knows it. It would explain why we have been on the receiving end of some awful decisions over the years, because we play fair. Not like those dirty foreigners. If that's what the World Cup is about we're better off out of it.
  2. Common sense seems to have gone out the window. The kids whose parents don't let them out are missing out. When I was a nipper I was never indoors. Panic, hysteria and over-reaction. For the record I have to daughters of middle-school age.
  3. And there was me thinking it was caused by the Tory bankers and their greed.
  4. Not necessarily. It hits lower income earners proportionally more. They still need to spend much of their income to live. What's unfair about income tax?
  5. It could have cost us dearly. Pardew with a decent pre-season would have put a team out at the start of the season that would have overturned the 10 points a lot quicker. He didn't because the bullsh*tters - Fialka and Lynham, backed by Le Tiss strung the administrator along with empty promises. Get a grip? Muppet.
  6. The most useless job in football. Everything should be between the manager and the CEO/Chairman (depending on the structure of the club).
  7. I suppose they will see where the land lies a little nearer the time. If Labour are racing in front in the polls they may campaign as the ConDems. If Cameron thinks he could get a majority on his own he will drop his Liberal brothers like a stone.
  8. Good statement from Cortese. Matt was our best ever player, but his poor judgement could arguably have cost us promotion. He should choose his words a little more wisely. Cortese is spot on with the Echo, garbage paper that I wouldn't even wipe my arse with.
  9. So previously, the falls on the stock market were because of the Labour Party, and now it's because of a global trend.
  10. True, god help us if that idiot Osbourne had to do it all on his own.
  11. Just seen Boris on Sky, he is good value.
  12. Can't see it being anyone other than David Miliband, with maybe John Cruddas as Deputy Leader of the party.
  13. The argument against yours of our 'broken electoral system' is that PR is unlikely to ever give any one party a goverment majority.
  14. I think a David Miliband led Labour Party, with James Purnell as his right-hand man, would win a majority at the next election. Until then, the right thing democratically would be either a Conservative administration supported by the Liberals, or a Tory minority government. It doesn't look to me like the Tories and Liberals can do a deal.
  15. I thought Francis was sh*te.
  16. We're on the right track. Pardew has made a few mistakes this season, but he hasn't managed at this level before, so he is learning as well. He has done more than enough good things for the club to outweigh his errors. Getting rid of him would be madness.
  17. I hear she's forming a party with Portillo.
  18. Margaret Beckett. I'd f*cking ruin her.
  19. I just think he's the best they have at the moment. I quite liked James Purnell, but he is out of politics now.
  20. 2 days 2 nights 4 off. 7 til 7.
  21. I think you're being a little harsh on Brown. He's being fair at the moment, constitutionally he is entitled to try and form a government, but he is sitting on the sidelines because he respects the Tories have more legitimacy to try first.
  22. So do I. It's not great at the weekends.
  23. Well apply then you boring c*nt.
  24. To be fair, that's not too difficult.
  25. To be fair dune, I don't think you are their target vote.
