Could Gaydamak and Chanrai close the club down and use all the land to develop? This is my dream scenario. I know they are supposed to be sworn enemies, but is a bit coinicidental that they are both tied up with Pompey.

Sponging Champagne Socialist Denham ordered to repay £1,265
Wade Garrett replied to dune's topic in The Lounge
What is worse are the multi-millionaire Tories milking the system. You are talking about the Communist Party, not Labour. Labour are as much into wealth creation now as the Tories. John Denham is my local MP, he is a decent man, and was principled enough to stand down from the Cabinet over Iraq. If he was the 'snout in the trough' you say he is he would have stayed on and collected his ministerial pay. That he didn't suggests that he is not a money grabber. Pillock. -
To be fair, I love your 'Dunkirk Spirit'. Still want you to go to the wall though. No offense.
-
There were a fair few of us who took the 10 points on the chin and found the idea of getting them back based on a technicality very wrong. Still very much hoping we get a bye in the next round of the cup. Your football club is a disgrace.
-
Outrageous. I am sure there are people on here better in goal than you are, and better defenders (goalies think they're good on pitch, but they're not). I bet Pompey Online are having trials. Apparently Peter Storrie is good at them.
-
I don't think people shouldn't take for granted they are in the side. There should be trials. First the East and West Southampton trials, and then the final trials. Just like Southampton Schoolboys in the old days. Some of you giving yourself a place in the side might be sh*t for all I know.

Andy Gray. Always carping on about refs. Annoying b*stard.
-
Our gates then were still comparable with your Premier League gates now. And we hadn't exactly had the success you have had in the seasons preceding that.
-
He did the dirty before they split up. F*ck me, are you sure.
-
I think he is still running things, and this is all being engineered for him to wind the club up and use the ground and land for property deals. Think, hope, whatever.
-
The least your magnificent supporters could do would be to fill your tinpot ground.
-
In admin, the debts are only reduced with the creditors agreement. They might decide that they want their money raised by selling the ground and players. Why should they accept next to bugger all. I didn't notice Saints debts being reduced by 90%.

Liebherr Crane Spotting - Earliest sighting ?
Wade Garrett replied to Kingsland Red's topic in The Saints
The Liebherrs in Southampton Docks are painted red and white already. -
Puncheon Signs 3 1/2 Yr Contract at Saints

Lawrie was the conductor, and so is Pardew. -
I have hated Terry ever since he cried off the Croatia game that we lost when we failed to qualify for the Euro's. He was filmed laughing while we were losing, and miraculously recovered 4 days later to play for Chelsea. C*nt.

Saints V Stockport County - Post Match Reaction
Wade Garrett replied to St Landrew's topic in The Saints
Nice to grind one out and keep a clean sheet. (Danns scored twice for Palace). -

There's a cloud on every silver lining...... Boring. -
If we don't then somebody else will.

Class. I hope I'm like you when I'm old.

Ironically, this was probably the draw that Storrie and co were praying for. Certain to be a sell-out, certain to get TV money, and facing the team with the lowest league position left in the competition. I think he would w@nk himself stupid if there was a replay as well.

Not exactly Lennon/McCartney is it.
-
They would be better off with Branfoot.
-
Wotton is good at what he does - breaking up play and keeping things tight. If he could pass the ball as well he would have 100 international caps and playing for Real Madrid! He wouldn't be playing League 1.
-
I like him as a manager. He doesn't moan at all about refs, which is incredible when you think what a whingeing c*nt he was as a player.
-
He isn't great on the ball, his passing is ordinary, but he did a good job tracking their midfielders forward runs and got in the way a lot. I don't think they would have scored their goal if he was still on the pitch.
