  1. So standing up and fighting for your rights in a job that you've worked in all your life isn't worth it? B*llocks.
  2. Seems to be a common theme doesn't it. I'm getting quite despondent.
  3. This is the most important issue in my opinion. We're talking about people's livelihoods. They have mortgages to pay and children to look after. Either get the deal done, or put them out of their misery. Puts 'brinkmanship' from all sides into perspective doesn't it.
  4. The Echo are suggesting that Fry may sell another period of exclusivity to get the wages paid this month. It's like a bad joke. To be honest, enough's enough.
  5. I agree. Pinnacle may be genuine but to be honest, there has to be a proper deadline in place now, or they should leave the table.
  6. Trouble is not everyone has it in them to get to the top. We can't all be bosses, there will always be haves and have nots. To anyone who works their way to the top I take my hat off to them. Just as I take my hat off to the bloke who stays in the same job for 30 years. No point slagging people off for legitimate protests and concerns. Your analogy is garbage as well. By leaving your employment for another job you are running away. If the school bully beats you up every playtime, is the answer to try and hide from him every day - or stand up to him?
  7. You seem to stand up quite a lot for Jackson. Doesn't say much for your judgement if he sucked you in as well.
  8. Only, with that attitude we'd still have Victorian working conditions and pay. I'd rather stand up for myself.
  9. Jackson will be bashing one out if he is mentioned by name in one of the tabloids.
  10. Good for you. Don't criticise others for having a bit of backbone though. A lot of nurses work for agencies now. They get paid more money.
  11. This Casey has about as much credibility as Marc Jackson.
  12. This may persuade his little band of followers what an idiot he is. He'll probably be too busy to comment this morning. I think Thursday is dole-signing day.
  13. The Echo suggested that Fry may set Pinnacle a deadline which may be as soon as tonight. Don't shoot the messenger.
  14. Go and have a couple of beers. You think too much.
  15. Sorry, meant Forrest Gump Jackson. Going to edit now.
  16. Why? Jackson is a fantasist as you say. He doesn't have a pot to p*ss in. I'll bet he doesn't have any backers either. He's just a royal pain in the arse.
  17. Makes me laugh that people have been bombarding Lynham with emails and texts. His post is a nice way of saying 'leave me alone you sad b*stards and get on with your lives'. Muppets.
  18. I agree 100%. Hopefully they will sort out their differences with the League today. It does strike me that they are on the level, particularly if their £1million+ costs to date are true. Just got to hang in there and keep hoping.
  19. I'd rather take your word for it than give you a Bournville Bowler.
  20. I'm a w*nker - Doc Cox
  21. This right to appeal is a load of crap. No appeal is going to be successful. It reminds me of Eric Idle in The Life of Brian, who wants to be called Loretta, and wants the right to have babies. Pointless.
  22. Under Granger he's a very good keeper.
  23. F*cking hell. I don't think the backer is anonymous to Mark Fry! How does he pay more?
  24. Fair point. But after years of let-downs it is very hard to stay positive.
  25. Well if he didn't see it coming it doesn't say much for his business acumen does it. What does he expect a bank to do when your over your agreed considerable overdraft limit and you have no money coming in. I haven't got an MBA, but even I know the answer to that one.
