  1. I think the SISA bloke is right. And £25 to watch Brentford at home isn't particularly sensible pricing.
  2. OK, but South Winchester Golf Club is hallowed turf. Surely an exception could be made.
  3. Even South Winchester?
  4. Fair enough, just don't tar everyone with the same brush (no pun intended).
  5. I'm confused. Are we talking about ex-Saint Joe Jordan, or celebrity whore c*nting ***** Katie Price. If we're talking about Joe I'd go for someone like Lenny McLean. Joe was pretty fearsome in his day, so it would take someone like the Guvnor to be able to do it. I don't think Lenny went for that sort of thing, so I'm not saying him specifically, but someone in his mould. If we're talking about Price I would say who gives a toss - it probably didn't happen, but if it did I'm sure the c*nt will make some money from it. My money would be on David Blunkett, Ray Charles or Helen Keller.
  6. Worrying. But so is labelling anyone who has an opinion on immigration a racist.
  7. Does accosting me in the street trying to sell me moody jewellery count as work? Does pickpocketing in the West End count as work (Eastern Europeans account for about 80% of police time there)? The benefits for this country for these people is negligible. Please don't take this as a xenophobic rant. Lots of migrant workers do valuable work, and are very industrious. It's the ones that aren't that I have a problem with. Just like I have a problem with British nationals who bleed the state system and expect handouts for nothing.
  8. Many of the illegal immigrants in this country aren't asylum seekers. There is a difference. Many of the 'benefit scroungers' aren't even illegal, they are from the EU. The whole issue is clouded in confusion, and has been handled extremely badly by our politicians.
  9. Salactol, I had one the size of my fist once, it was on my thumb. Salactol got rid of it.
  10. CMFG scored one worthy of Pele, if I remember right.
  11. What happened to the English Popular Front, or the Peoples Front of England? Splitters. (English Defence League, joke. If you want to defend your country join the armed forces like our brave youngsters do. Otherwise just sit around in your state paid flats drinking cheap cider and moaning about ethnics, you sad w*nkers).
  12. I know Redknapp doesn't rate him, but that's a bit strong.
  13. "I thought you'd be bigger". I liked Swayze. He wasn't up his own arse like a lot of tinseltown are.
  14. "He's a wobber and a wapist"
  15. You make a good point, but I can't help thinking that DOFs are a recipe for disaster. Coppell is someone I rate very highly. Shrewd as they come, I think he even has a degree in economics. I don't doubt that he would do the job properly and well. I suppose if he comes with Pardew's blessing then it's worth a try.
  16. I heard that you and Mickey Fialka couldn't raise the funds to play. Is that true?
  17. DOF is an unnecessary post. Let Pardew manage, and Cortese do the contracts and transfer negotiations. Why do we need anyone else. I would rather spend the money on a couple of loans.
  18. Like it.
  19. I'd settle for a lucky manager.
  20. Pointless getting rid of the manager before he's had a chance to work with all the players he's signed. We'll turn the corner. Hopefully the board will give him time. By the way, was Steve Coppell at the game yesterday?
  21. I was glad he got the Scotland job. Says it all really.
  22. If Leicester don't want Gradel and we do, then surely they could have come to some arrangement. If deals were that complicated then no business would get done on deadline day.
  23. I would like to think they would be decent enough to put people in the picture if nobody has signed. I am, therefore, hopeful that there will be some good news at some point.
  24. What about 'Hi-De-Hi', or the unparalleled 'On The Buses'. 'I'll have you Butler'.
  25. You are all sad muppets.
