  1. This rumour is doing the rounds. I thought it was too outrageous to share on the forum.
  2. I'm not being silly though am I. My missus used to work for the Council as a home carer, she left because they halved her wages. They now pay Councillors a small fortune to f*ck up our City, they pay managers a small fortune to waste our money, and they waste lots of money on buying art that the majority of tax-payers couldn't give a monkeys about. Personally, I would be happier if they used the money to buy the Stadium, rather than spunking it on idiot councillors, lazy greedy management and dust gathering paintings.
  3. For you to suggest that they turned up not because he is still there is even more naive. IMHO of course.
  4. The benchmark for our attendances will be pretty low though, won't they. I am amused by the hurting Rupert fans, no offence jonah.
  5. The Golf Course is one of the best tracks around, but it is in poor condition because the Council won't pay for it to be maintained properly. It should remain a Golf Course but it should be leased to a private company who would maintain it in the way it deserves to be. The thought of my £140 a month going towards a few dust gathering paintings really p*sses me off.
  6. He could have gone to any game in the country, but he went to Saints v Charlton, just to see who was in the Directors Box. Unlikely.
  7. That being the case they wouldn't have turned up for the game against the bottom side in the division. But they did, didn't they. The reason why they did is pretty obvious to me.
  8. Do you really believe that Frank. I know quite a few people who will go back to the stadium now Lowe has gone. In my opinion, he was the biggest reason for the fall in gates.
  9. I expect Marc Xerox Jackson told them about an easy way to get free corporate hospitality. Tyre-kicking freeloaders.
  10. Who gives a toss what the muppet said. He doesn't matter anymore. He is irrelevant.
  11. I couldn't give a toss about previous attendances. Fact is, a lot of people feel like a cloud has been lifted from the club with the demise of Lowe. Not too many people are sorry to see him go.
  12. I though the Souness backer was Brian Kennedy, not Steve Morgan.
  13. I agree with what you are saying. Barclays would hardly take this action if it meant their debt would simply be wiped out.
  14. I think the administrator will have a tough job determining who to sell to. Salz/Davies, Souness, etc. I'm not sure what his remit is, although I suspect he is duty bound to get us much as he can for the club's creditors. I hope he is more scrupulous than the weasel Askham was when he was in a similar predicament. At least old ladies with shares aren't going to have their door's knocked this time around.
  15. Unprofessional, especially when we were chasing the game. His behaviour is as good as his tactics, shocking.
  16. I am honestly confident that we will be OK Nick.
  17. Is it just me who actually wants to shake Mr Barclays Bank's hand and thank him for getting rid of the clueless pair - Lowe and Wilde. I'm not worried about us going out of business. Someone will come in and buy the football club, especially as they won't have to pay Lowe anything, or buy the holding company. I'm thinking about opening a Barclays account at Bitterne to demonstrate my gratitude. The staff might want to watch out for Frank's Cousin and Nineteen Canteen though.
  18. Have you just woken up?
  19. Just going to f*ck up WH Ireland now.
  20. Someone will come in, and pick us up for a bargain. Cheer up.
  21. I'll be back. I f*cking love it. Might even get a season ticket again for next season.
  22. Just a rumour I heard. Some geezer with a funny jumper called Barry Briefcase is the brains behind it. Apparently, they have a couple of broken photocopiers as collateral.
