  1. You may have a point.
  2. I don't think he'll want to change the voting system if he wins the next election outright. I just see it as an olive branch to the Lib-Dems in case there is a hung parliament.
  3. I know it had nothing to do with the result! I don't want the poor lad sacked, especially if he has mouths to feed. I just wish we would stop gloating over Pompey, when we are in the sh*tcart as well.
  4. So I'll put you down in the unreasonable camp then. Fair enough.
  5. What a ***t. "If we win tonight we'll have more points than Pompey". Wish he would keep his mouth shut. Am I being reasonable. Your thoughts please...
  6. Very difficult to answer. Personally, I see no point in getting rid of him unless we can attract anyone decent to replace him. I would say he should be judged by the board in 5 games time.
  7. Spot on.
  8. Got a number of problems with tonight. If Dan Harding was as aggressive in the tackle as he is with ball boys we might have been OK. Williams destroyed us when he came on, and Pardew's sub to neutralise this (bringing on Mills) was laughable. James was equally as bad as Harding on the opposite side. We should have gone 3-1 up but Lambert missed an easy chance, and Lallana spurned an even easier one. My main gripe is our lack of pace. Pace is what wins games, tonight Kuffour and Williams caused us trouble with their pace. We have none, and you have to look at the manager and the players he has chosen to bring in. Their defence never hardly had to face their own goal (although the impressive Lallana twice made clever runs round the back of them). At our level it is raw pace that defenders don't like. 1 win out of 10 is garbage. The manager still has my support, but it is waning and we are in a results business. Stating the bleddin' obvious, if we don't get some wins on the board pretty sharpish we will get cut adrift.
  9. Tony, you were taking the p*ss. You didn't have the money and turned out to be no more than another Spencer Trethewy/Michael Knighton. You wanted your 5 minutes of fame and you got it. The Fialka thing towards the end was a joke and summed up your bid. All you achieved was losing Saints a valuable pre-season. But being a Pompey supporter I suppose you had a good laugh at that one too. Don't take this the wrong way Tony, I don't believe a word you say. I would imagine the people running the club now (you know, the professionals) need nothing from you. I have no questions to ask you. To be honest I wouldn't ask you the time because you'd probably only wheel Mickey out to tell me. Thanks for nearly ruining our club once and for all. Regards Wade
  10. I'm nearly 40. I can't be far off.
  11. Don't be so stupid. I think it was Bob Grant and Stan Butler from 'On The Buses' out looking for some crumpet.
  12. Fanny Craddock?
  13. Sid James?
  14. Sticky Vicky?
  15. Arthur Negus?
  16. Sounds as bad as a 'cones hotline', the only difference being that the government won't be daft enough to see it through.
  17. Engelbert Humperdinck?
  18. Don't let that get in the way of an unfounded rant.
  19. If it was one of those grey squirrels then he deserved everything he got. They are c*nts and are committing genocide on the red squirrels. We should take arms to try and stop the grey fascist squirrels from taking over Europe. We'll fight them on the f*cking beaches.
  20. Just take him you tight git.
  21. Out of order all these insinuations about his sexuality. Le Saux went through it all as well. Some of you are f*cking idiots. Find something else to gossip about you bunch of old women.
  22. Good manager, same as Redknapp.
  23. They have lost their way, and I've always said their are too many lawyers in the Parliamentary party. The compensation culture is good for lawyers but bad for the country in general, and is the fault of the Labour party. I still prefer them to the odious Tories though. I don't suppose I would if I had a few quid, or was in line for a £1million+ inheritance though.
  24. Too much newstime to fill these days. I remember the old days when we just got football info from the papers. How did we manage without tinternet and SkySports. We used to use jumpers for goalposts as well, and there was less crime. You could leave your front door open and everything.
  25. How about Rupert? He seems to have the clubs best interests at heart and you can bash one off when you see him on the telly.
