  1. What about the Albion Band doing I am the Resurrection.
  2. China need the West now for their economy to continue to flourish. They'll drop the North Koreans like a ton of bricks when the time comes to put them in their place.
  3. I realise that, but we haven't always been there, and nor were Pompey when Mandaric took over. They have a crap ground, small support, a big f*ck off wage bill and a ton of debt. They will never be able to sustain themselves financially in the Premier league. We should get Storrie to have a quiet word with Fry and give him a few tips. That man could sell a bucket of sh*t to the Queen.
  4. Just seen South Today. How that crap down the road can find new owners at will (Mandaric, Gaydamak, this new bloke) and we can't suggests something is very wrong.
  5. Weston, you have to ask the question - How much time is needed? Personally, I am starting to think we are being strung along.
  6. That said, if new owners can finance the team then I would like to see us keep Staplewood. Otherwise, our priorities need to be looked at.
  7. Decent kids aren't going to come here now. We are in the third division. Having a posh training centre when we can't afford to keep players is a false economy.
  8. Does anyone else suspect that Fry is just tossing it off and playing everyone for idiots? Or is it just me.
  9. I reckon it's a load of rubbish. I've heard Al Fahim is an arab photocopier salesman.
  10. Absolutely. I reckon if it's going to happen it will be today, tomorrow or not at all.
  11. Why? Decent coaches are more necessary than 'state of the art' facilities. Watch Man Utd and Chelsea train and you will still see cones on the training pitch.
  12. It is a training pitch, that's all. If we can sell it for a decent price then sell it. In the old days we trained at Wellington Sports Ground and there was a gym inside the Dell. It didn't stop us getting to second in the league and producing youngsters like Moran, D Wallace, Rod Wallace, Le Tissier, Shearer, Benali and Granger. If it's p*ssing down with rain they can use the all weather pitch at Trojans. All this 'state of the art' training facilities is OK if you can afford it, but it isn't absolutely necessary.
  13. Has he got glasses and a bald head? Has he got a moustache? Why don't we just wait instead of speculating whether it's Anderson, Magnier, McManus or Rupert. Has he got ruddy cheeks and a smug bastard grin?
  14. So the game of Guess Who continues? Has he got ginger hair and a beard?
  15. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/4397981.Surprise_new_bidder_for_Saints/ Unforunately, given the Echo's track record, they probably just lifted the story from this thread.
  16. To be fair, this rumour is a bit more believable than the one about Marc Jackson buying us.....
  17. Old rumour.
  18. Very true. There are one or two who are being drip fed info from sources close to bids as well. Whether they are being fed fact or bulsh*t is another matter. I would suggest that anything coming from Jackson is bullsh*t. You would think that people would have learnt that by now.
  19. How can they derail other bidding parties. The Jackson consortium either have the money for the deal or they don't. How can Salz influence that. He can't, unless he has a better deal in the offing (ie. one that will be accepted and actually carried through).
  20. Personally, I think somebody who has steered the most complex mergers and takeovers in the City to completion, is a bit more likely to take us over than someone who sells ink toner and failed to see through the purchase of AFC Bournemouth. I would take everything that Jackson and Greene say with a very large pinch of salt.
  21. You think this of Salz, yet you seem to be behind Jackson. Bizarre (IMHO of course).
  22. So that gives everyone carte blanche then does it?
  23. Read my post again. I am not blaming all foreigners, or even just the ones who sponge off of us. I also blaming our own who have a culture of welfare dependency (ones who choose not to work, not ones who are not able to work). I repeat, I am not a racist. I think my views are reasonable. However, it is people like you, calling 'racist' at every turn, who are stopping the issue from being sorted out. You tell me why I am a racist.
