like claim one where he says labour inherited a debt of 42% and left one of 35% of GDP. What he fails to mention is that they also inherited a budget surplus which was improving and left a deficit that was worsening.

I am tired and grumpy today so as a result everything and everyone is irritating me

Anyone taken their kids out of term time since the new law?
CB Saint replied to Tractor_Saint's topic in The Lounge
I think it is disgusting and irresponsible. How dare parents take holidays outside of the school breaks and create demand for those holidays that non-parents should be able to pick up on the cheap. Nothing but bloody selfishness. Seriously, I am not sure I agree with taking kids out of schools for a week or more, the odd day here or there won't hurt, although once they get into the teenage years, I think that would be less responsible. -

Atouch of Ricketts ought to do it -
Oh Christ osvaldo is on the bench. Someone sit on the mad idiot
-
Only ever take your mum, if a) she doesn't mind anglo-saxon language or b) you can sit through an entire game without losing your cool with the ref / lino / opposition / own team. Getting a bo llocking from your dearest mama for swearing, in front of all of the regulars opens you up to a season of mickey taking.

this. Dump the final salary scheme give them £100k pa and a 10% contribution to money purchase pensions. Stop the practice of employing family as staff. job done

Question. Is standing with your arms outstretched whilst standing several blocks away from your opponent the modern day equivalent of looking hard?

Well I am sure that it was an oversight on the fat knacka's part last year that I didn't get this, however I am willing to give him another chance http://www.williamswarn.com

Aaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh ha ha ha ha -
I have one seriously annoying old git sat behind me. All game it is "get it forward" and "rubbish" and other whining and whinging. The best so far this season was this week when started having a pop at the team for too much negativity. The irony was completely lost on him.

A team of Academy Products - the Rupert Lowe dream...

i don't think the rugby coach idea was bad per se. A lot of what we do now is born of the same philosophy that Clive Woodward had. The big issue was trying to do so when redknapp and Jim smith were in charge. That was never going to fly. -
Reminds me when we lost Niemi, Killer Oakley and beattie at the same time - the entire spine of our team at the time The special one was right when he said you needed 23 first team players to succeed in the EPL. We have 16 (at best).

Actually it wasn't that sneaky as I saw it from row P.
-
When they finally got round to taking the free kick, he had a sneaky kick at the defender. That boy is not wired right.

Cork did no worse than anyone else. Actually though he gave us a little bit more urgency on the ball.
-
At what point did he think the wouldn't end badly

So wanyama and lovren were not significant purchases? Once you start on this Cortese sign players on a whim business, any argument you make, be it good or bad, starts to lose credibility.
-
Well he bought lovren. jrod, clyne, fonte, boruc, lambert, davis and wanyama with no football experience, he also promoted JWP, shaw and chambers from the youth team without football experience. Correct me if I am wrong, that means he picked out one of the meanest defences in Europe (not to mention pretty much the rest of the first x1i) with no football experience. God help us if he gets some.
-
Sad thing is I have no strong feelings on the subject either way which suggests to me that both are as equally as bad as each other
-
well the the plan is to field our own. If we can avoid dropping £30m each year on transfer fees, we can pay every single member of the first eleven another £50k per week. That might go some way to retaining them. I don't see the point of the 26 technical analysts though because we all know that it is down to NCs and les Reeds gut feel on who we sign.
