Yes. I was at both. Didn’t bother with a half and half scarf at either, but was really hoping for a DVD of the games as a Christmas present.

Stoke can be a difficult team to play against at their place, and I suspect some of their crowd will be fired up with Millwall in town. Be surprised if they don’t make a game of it. Leicester may be playing and scrapping to stay up, or down and ‘relaxed’ (“freedom to play” I’ve read bandied about). They should be performing better than they are with the players they’ve got. On paper I’d agree that Millwall should win all three, but the Championship does throw up some results (skates beating Middlesbrough and Ipswich in the same week for example). Anyone can beat anyone. which I’m sure Tonda will drum into our lot as well. Nothing is a forgone conclusion (Sheff Weds relegation apart that is).

Exactly Who can forget the great 1-1 at home to Rotherham?
-
The line up for Tuesday will be an interesting dilemma for Tonda. Despite what he says publicly I’d be surprised if he didn’t have one eye in the SF.
-
This is the momentum a proper unbeaten run can give you. Someone show this to Legohead.
-
Fair point to some degree. But underlines the question of signing him in the first place if we weren’t going to play to his strengths. Not his fault of course.
-
Tonda has done such a fantastic job that it seems we can win without the posting of semi-naked nuns on the forum. Get that sorted mods, and perhaps as Turkish states we won’t ever lose again.
-
Not at all. For most of his time here he’s been abysmal and his recent run of form doesn’t change that. But credit to him for finding his form and recovering his confidence. Most of all though well done Tonda for unlocking his talent and making Archer a useful addition and getting him motivated again.

Tonda’s “close the book” is the new “draw a blue line under it and move on” from Adkins days. Both seem tremendous communicators and motivators.

What's Michael Gilkes up to ? unfinished business and all that

In 1976 a relative went to The Dell on the Monday after the Palace SF to buy a remaining season ticket for rest of season (which were on sale the week before). He was immediately told no, all further ST sales had been suspended.
-
Definitely. It doesn’t affect me as a ST holder but very poor that some fucker who’s just joined as a member has the same option to buy as a member for last 10yrs plus (as I’d have been without the ST). As for the practicality why not ? They stagger the tickets normally, and it’s not as if there’s an army of staff to put them all in envelopes to post.

It was Wealdstone for us in 2017. Harrow may have offered the same facility of course
-
Perhaps Shane Long in the Anfield SF, (although a more regular scorer than the three I list).
-
At what point of the match was one of their players racially abused tonight ?
-
I’m hoping he joins the unlikely heroic scorer of an important goal club soon, possibly in the SF. A select club with Hugh Fisher, Paul Gilchrist, and Terry Curran as members.
-
Surprised this went unnoticed for so long.
-
Surprised the level of criticism for Fellows here, although it does seem fashionable to highlight him. His shooting has been poor, now a confidence issue, but for me he seems to have exceptional close ball control - possibly second only to Scienza- and can deliver a decent cross. We’re a better team with him in it when he’s firing in my view. We pissed him about a bit early season as a WB. Had he started the season with a Larin or fit Stewart he’d have had a few assist credits to his name. He’ll come good.

Doesn’t the person you transfer to have to already have the Saints App ? Would they have that if they’ve no history with the club?
-
Yet Martin, and Still had TOO many crap and average ones to select from. Strange that.
-
I'm writing to my MP insisting that as well as the Triple Lock, they take into account the annual increase on a Saints ST.
-
Not so sure on that, I found it a bit more challenging but then a)it's probably just due to familiarity and b)I'm a dinosaur easily pissed off with IT...

It was for me, although a bit later tan Frannies Tache, I had a 10 minute wait to get into the purchasing option, and and by about 9.50 most of the safe standing behind the goal had gone, but managed to get three together nearby. Nor sure how the £2.50 per ticker booking fee is justified when they don't even have the cost of printing tickets, putting them in an envelope and posting them, but there you go. It did seem a fairly seamless process despite the minor wait, so club has got a decent system in process there. Just wait the inevitable fuck up with the App, mobile phone, outside the stadium now then.
