  1. It's one game this season, but it follows such a familiar pattern from last season. P!ss poor defending, defensive errors, even poor goalkeeping, falling apart after conceding. These problems were glaring last season yet we start this season in the same fashion and the same characters in the team.
  2. At long last, a CB built like a brick sh!thouse with a bit of pace.
  3. Says done deal: https://twitter.com/SquawkaNews?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor Not sure how reliable a site though.
  4. is he being walked out in front of the press at Potters Heron ? Can't think of another Kevin to have been signed from Germany. The name is indelibly printed in my mind as KK from that day in 1980. Or as 'my perfect cousin'.
  5. Hope it's not a Toby type of loan then, with only a loose option to buy.
  6. Very good. Got an original song for him at least.
  7. last minute £50m bid for Redmond it is then.
  8. wasn't the "black box" meant to identify these traits meaning we didn't end up with the kn0bheads ? Clearly overruled by Cortese to bring in Osvaldo, but I think many suggested Lemina was a bit of a loose cannon at the time (ie from his media presence , and the clip of him punching an opponent in the nuts).
  9. Trouble is that there will be a fair bit of 'hiding' behind Reed's legacy for a year or so before we can make a judgement on the current regime. I'm with you that Wilson must share some of the responsibility for the poor identifying of targets and getting deals done, but in his defence he'd be working under Reed's guidance .
  10. Perhaps he ought to give Berahino a call to discuss how to ruin a career: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48416456
  11. That has been the case 2014 - December 2017 perhaps but the default setting now is "can't even give them away because they earn too much ...".
  12. Agree, I still think he'd offer more as a DM for us than we've currently got.
  13. The only interest appears to have been as a back up option in case another deal doesn't come off.
  14. Wonder what this does for Mario and his massive ego: great player that he is - in his own mind - yet the fact remains no one wants to buy him. In other walks of life this might be used as a motivation to redouble efforts to achieve your goal, in football though it's more likely to produce a massive sulk.
  15. Shame he's gone if he was Ralph's preferred assistant but easy to see why he'd want to be in his home country and with Bayern. Just hope Ralph is content with his assistants, two ex golakeeping coaches,(and is it Fleming?), along with Sparkes.
  16. Can see Barcelona letting him go out for a season, https://www.football-espana.net/78680/fc-barcelona-concern-over-jean-clair-todibo
  17. Perhaps they've learnt from watching our mishandling of an obligation to buy deal. Couldn't expect Reed to come up with anything as sharp as that when he lumbered us with Ings.
  18. Another great piece of recruitment down to Bunsen.
  19. Please...
  20. I'd rather they concentrate on getting the design right rather than anything else.
  21. Saw this quote from Boris in an article today: Obviously before Penny. Think he had a few choice remarks about Liverpool once as well, which Cameron sent him up there to apologise for.
  22. I think the ill feeling goes back before then into the 1970's when Norf London yobbos rioted over there in a UEFA Cup match (c 1972 -74). Was one of the early outbreaks of English yobs on the continent and caused quite a shock in the media
  23. No, but I think most understand they have no incentive to move on, but unfortunately put their earnings above their self-esteem in wanting to play. The anger is towards the d!ckhead who gave ludicrous and needlessly extended contracts.
  24. The article says: I read this as he has 12 months from .. 14th August SuperSAINT advises... to complete the purchase. So until 14th August 2020.
