Shame Scott Marshall didn't develop this trait, might have been our top scorer at the end of October one year if he had. -

I had forgotten that Marsden was at Stockport. I recall him at Wolves; although he only played eight games for them ( relative up there rated him but said he was shown the door due to an incident off the pitch). Armstrong was linked for a while, but it didn't happen and he never really reached the levels expected. Have to say that Stockport are one of those clubs I still harbour a minor dislike of, and was happy to see drop out of the league. Bit like Tranmere, and Wrexham (1974) really. Of the Stockport signing, Jones was better than his reputation (although carried an error from time to time), and still think he was an unnecessary one with Maik Taylor here. Lee Todd .... no further comment other than up there with some of Branfoot's signings (David Lee for example). -
Bring me my spear - is this going to pass the pc test ? might be construed as offensive by some suggesting it’s a slur or cultural misappropriation O clouds unfold - good to see something for the meteorologists and their inclusion. An often maligned minority group ( facing ridicule daily for getting it wrong ever since Michael Fish in 1987).

Recall them knocking us out of the League Cup as well. Rupert was so impressed he appointed Dave Jones at the end of the season. -
Think he's facing Vestergaard in the Danish defence.

Found this: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1032846/Southampton-Forecast-looks-good-snapping-rookie-Spurs-keeper.html Suspect Rupert thought he'd sell him on at a hefty profit in a couple of years, bit like he had done with Delgado I suppose. From what Adkins said about everyone having had a role (in his analogy with Nasa putting a man on the moon) it seems Fourpast's contribution was as social secretary sorting out the parties.
-
Think it was the Grimsby fans who christened him Fourpast. Quite incredible but the guff on the official site said Spurs didn't want to release this prospect, and indicated he was in line for a England U21 call up imminently.

Armstrong just gone off. Hopefully get some game time to come back fit and firing for us.
-
Glad Che has scored, do his confidence the world of good. Think I might have a battered mars bar to celebrate.
-
Delia in the dugout ?
-
Thinking about this, and Fourpast really must rank just behind Ali Dia as one of our most comical signings of all time. Pulis Jnr worth a mention. None as expensive a flop as Carillo though to be fair to them all.

Doubt Farke to Dean Smith is the kind of leap Norwich expected to make. If it is a "leap" at all.
-
Agent to SFC: "could I interest you in my client, a goalkjeeper name of ..." SFC: "nah, fuck off, he's shit". There, his agent has spoken to us. Doesn't indicate a modicum of interest though.
-
Haven't we been linked with this crowd before though ?
-
Read this. Okay, who thinks Orville would be a better Director of Football than Les Reed ?
-
Lovren's hairdresser/barber was a source at one point I recall.
-
Or the taxi driver... Mind you the construction trade have long since been a good source of Saints related info. Didn't Beattie have a plumber or electrician who was able to announce his best laid plans to move (the summer before he did)?
-
... unless Ralph is has a Delia fetish..
-
Article says they’ll consider a Championship club.

Aren’t the Dildo Brothers at West Ham looking for a way out ?

Have to wonder if the close working relationship with Crocker, and Semmens will be be a factor here, and the trust they've shown in him despite a run of poor results (far beyond five games Smith has lost). From what I read (may or may not have been true of course) the Koeman- Reed relationship wasn't on sound footing. Strange though how after three wins in the last four games Ralph's stock is high again and he's linked to another job, didn't seem to be linked anywhere towards the end of last season.
-
Not a hat trick (as far as I remember) but it was certainly a game where in his early career he was noticed by the national press and was instrumental in the win.
-
Yes, remember that in 1986.
