Has Pep got any experience of a relegation scrap ? Just purely out of academic interest.
-
Pep - no chance 'arry - no f'kin thanks, and furthermore I don't think he fits the NC mould for development Martinez - not likely Hoddle - did not want him in 2004, but probably the best we could now get How about an up and coming English manager ? Oh , yes, we've got one of those already.

Hanson worried for Saints lose next to and game over!

He's a mate with the other c^nt who said "Ramirez will not sign for Southampton" . You know the bloke, the one who looks as if he's just fallen off the 'Sgt Pepper' front cover. Not sure where the other muppet is tonight though, probably on some outside broadcast on an all night vigil outside Anfield as BBC have not mentioned Hillsborough for at least forty minutes. -
Think the phrase used by the PSV fan on here was that "we had dodged a bullet" by not signing him.
-
Yes,but we've got real ambition remember ?

Did he though ? It seems to me we were pretty slow in addressing the CB issue. Why leave it so bloody late ? I hope Yoshida proves a success, but a tall order for him to fill the role we need in a struggling side in a foreign country. The GK position has concerned me since we left L1 frankly. Not addressed last January when it should have been,as BB was a proven liability,so we were only an injury to KD away from a disaster. KD has never filled me with great confidence at NPC level so was always likely to struggle at Prem level. If we believe reports then Butland was our main target, but then ? We sign an inexperienced 21 yr old, is he ready for the first team if required ? We might find out sooner than we expect. On Buttner: Seemed a shambles that deal, but like you I feel the problem was elsewhere than with us,or Vittesse.

Classy bird in the front row. Don't know when that photo was taken but she probably now has two kids from three different fathers. As for the crimson faced f^cker next to her, isn't that 'Arry on steroids ?

or "dogs b0llocks" "mutts nuts". Agree - top shirt

I was a little surpised to see that. Apprarently the trading name of Fray Bentos was taken from the place which once had the biggest meat processing plant in South America. At first I thought some witty bastard had doctored the Wikipedia page on Ramirez as it seemed a throwback to an age old joke (which I remember from the late 60's,early 70's) : Saints are selling Channon to Juventus; and the rest to Fray Bentos.

Thank you , for a sensible and impartial observation - even allowing for the "pantomime" figure he has become for you lot. I hope we do not have to discuss the next 'candidate' for real in the next few months. I don't think we as fans are serious about getting rid at all, but the media with the 'odds on..' type of coverage seem to want it, or at least a discussion on it. Personally I don't think threads like this are particularly useful or welcome. Before you know it the media is reporting 'Saints forums are rife with speculation about ...', which just add to the media circus.

Yes, and plenty of shirt sales with either of those names available.

The Keegan era (Air Florida/Rank Xerox etc). The sash however is a memorable kit, and runner up. Will accept conventional stripes.
-
Or even wear them inside out, as described in a post by the9 above.

Can you obtain a lease on a car as a private individual/ employee entering into an agreement ? Isn't this option only open to a business/ fleet operator ?
-
Awful home kit. Looks like a Saints training top. I can't understand the "at least we don't look like Stoke & Sunderland" comments; we just look like L/pool, Forest or a poor attempt by Crewe,Swindon or Bristol City to like L/pool instead. Bring back the stripes, or the Keegan era strip at home. (and preferably amber and black away.)

Did Kachloul do something like this at one stage ? On a different note, Vinnie Jones I think ran round on his own after a Wimbledon game, final match of the season (0-0 when we stayed up, Man City went down) giving high fives to the crowd.
-
Did he mean, but misspel,l the Horse Trials ?

Only marginally better than having aDirector of Football who used to be a Rugby Coach perhaps. I had thought this might be an informed serious article, but no, it looks like some blog by a 14 year old spacktard doing his IT homework.

Dreadful journey home. Baking hot day in the sun at the Clock End,Highbury fuelled on drink, illicitly smuggled onto the coach and a pub near the ground. 120minutes later, should have won it, short-arsed bastard Heath, pitch etc Four f^cking hours snaking out of London on a coach - no air conditioning in those days - and a coach driver whose only tape to take our minds off the sports radio, was The Thompson Twins. There is a limit to how many times you can hear 'Doctor, Doctor' before you reach the M3 I can tell you. So not only do I detest Everton to this day, but The Thompso Tw^ts bring me out in a rash, and an outbreak of Tourrettes.
-
Why on earth would we need to change kit at Everton ? We are currently playing in all red, Liverpool seem to manage to wear that at Goodison, season after season. We should know that as BBC & ITV continue to show that fixture thinking the rest of the nation might in some way be in interested.
-
Everton at Highbury , 1984. Same bunch of scouse c^nts at home, 2005. Villa at home, 2005 - so predictable, that second half was like a car crash in slow motion.

Is there a 'Posh Spice' song eulogising JWP ? If not, any comparison is worthless. -

Mention of Suzanne Dando, should be worth a thread of its own. Back on track, I remember when I moved to Gloucestershire 25 years ago, someone telling me they had bought Arthur Negus' fridge.
