Made I laugh... -
Anyway... thanks for your clearing it up. You can now get back to your red wine, and me to my OLd Speckled Hens !

Unlikely before January though
-
So its, MLT on the Benali issue, and NC on the exclusivity I assume, although this is probably more to do with Mark Fry than the party themselves.
-
If I were MLT I'd be embarrassed by the chancers and wasters associated with the Pinnacle bid, and would not wish to drag it out further.
-
So where does the fault and grudge lie ? NC holds a grudge because Pinnacle got exclusivity ? MLTholds a grudge and resents the fact Marcus and NC eventually beat the consortium to the club. Throw in the Benali factor which presumably MLT has sided on. Yes, bang their heads together. NC can not deny us the heritage of the club of which MLT was a recent big part; MLT should give up twittering like an adolescent about the slightest thing.

Good. I detest those glory seeking f^ckers more than I hate Pompey.

But with his track record, do you not think NA should have expected any more from Guly's contribution ?
-
I expected Mayuka to come on for his pace and to trouble them on the break, so bringing him on for Puncheon might have made sense. The other two subs did not, Lambert was holding the ball up and bringing others in to play. With the other substitutions though there was little creativity and Mayuka hardly saw the ball. Then you have to ask why Guly ? Has NA forgotten his defending at Nottarf Krap last year ? Thats before asking if he might contribute anything else.

Is he South Korean, or another Jap ?

Who ? Didn't they sing 'Poison Ivy' in the early 1980's ?
-
Perhaps this was a situation that many believed should have been resolved last January window, or the summer at least. It seems that we wanted a last ditch attempt to sign Williams from'boro, but thwarted by his injury. Can't understand why this was not sorted in July. We are now left 'hoping' that a bloke from Japan - who played for a poor team in Holland - can make the step up.
-
Can't imagine many of us reaching the notes that Kate Bush did for that.
-
I don't think its his opinion that has irritated people, more the dismissive and condescending way he said it.
-
Has Ryan Dickson moved on yet ?

My first Saints v Mancs was c1969 or 70, when the Charlton, Best & Law circus came to The Dell. 'Big Ron' was injured, but no problem, Jimmy Gabriel played as No 9 and scored the winner, headed goal from a corner.
-
Great players of such contrast : Hansen - always wrestling Danny Wallace to the ground Lawrenson - reaching to catch the through ball going over his head as one of our pacey forwards that day - Wallace or possibly Austin Hayes - were running on to it. He even faked surprise and indignation when the ref gave the free kick. Should have been off, but may have escaped with just a booking.

Is this Mrs Ramirez ?

Probably looking at a London A-Z whilst speaking, thinking about the the best route home on leaving the studio to take in the best kerb crawling opportunities.

Billy Sharp - Joins Notts Forest on Season Long Loan
Badger replied to Saint Garrett's topic in The Saints
Disappointed Billy is leaving, seemed a top bloke, and deserved his chance at Prem level. He is a goalscorer, pure and simple and with our new found pace and guile, in Mayuka and Ramirez, BS might have flourished. A bit of a paradox really, as BS did not always offer us a lot , (pace, cunning etc,) but he did offer us something different, a goalscorers instnct, and out of our squad (pre-wndow) Sharp certainly complimented Lambert best. -
Higginbottom and Prutton, no longer our best ever last day !
-
..all night vigil surely ?

Billy Sharp - Joins Notts Forest on Season Long Loan
Badger replied to Saint Garrett's topic in The Saints
Agree with all of that. We now have plenty of creative players but need someone to put the ball away when it is bouncing around the penalty area, Sharp is ideal. We can't rely on 30 yard strikes week in week out. -
