Who is the other bloke, on the other side of NA ? Is it a Parole Officer or Care in the Community Officer for Forecast ?

Butland ? Gazziniga ? I'm going to take the dog out for a walk shortly. If they have not signed by the time I get back then I don't believe they will sign at all. Not ITK, just a hunch. All IMHO of coure. -
Is Gazzaniga not a good prospect then ? Although from a lower level and unproven admittedly. I am expecting we will sign a young prospect, and a steady reliable, but not spectacular ,back up.

The Tale of Tom Forecast. It does have the ring of Beatrix Potter about it.
-
No, its our £6.5m 'triallist' in goal. It was meant to be kept under wraps but yet another camera happy hotel employee has blown it open. Forecast is the one cycling off in the background having taken the lad's morning orders for woodbines, pies ,and Special Brew to scupper the curfew.

Agree, he has contributed to our rise, and I was sorry he missed much - most of - last season due to injury as I think he could have been an asset in the Championship. Having not had chance to prove himself at that level, its unlikely we'll see him as an obvious choice in the Prem. Swindon ? Personally I think he could play at a higher level in the Championship.

Bart had made a few appearances over about five years, and had built up a bit of "credit" as it were. Even though I was relieved to see BB go in the end, it is unfair to compare him with Tommy Nofingers, Bart is in a different stratosphere to this clown. Yes, you only have to see his Faceboojk page to see that TF is a party animal, given his much inflated wage packet you can see why he excels at this.

It was posted on here at the time, that during a loan spell at Bromley ,yes, Bromley, he was confined to the subs bench.

Did he mean on penalties ?

Best one yet !

Moran's last minute goal at skates in 1984. Ruddock's injury time penalty at home to Newcastle 1988or 89 MLT - first v Newcastle 1994 As a teenager - Paul Gilchrist's goal v Palace in the semi-final, 1976 , THE DREAM WAS ABOUT TO HAPPEN As a parent - going to the JPT

I don't think you can justifiably say they had little or no impact even in their short time with us. Ekelund was immense. Frankie looked woeful for the first few months, but really came alive after Christmas, with the cup run. I always thought he started to believe 'Frankie [could] go to Wembley', for the first time in his career for a cup final, and it energised him. (But for that f^cking runt Heath, it would have been) Again both contributed in their short time, and many people wanted them to return.

And Dennis Wise, and Kevin Phillips of course. Paul Gascoigne also had trials at Ipswich, and I believe was scouted by Saints. Don't know if he ever had a trial with us, was not invited down, or said no as he had already linked up at Newcastle.

Is his dad Mark Chamberlain as well ?
-
Add the Milwall midfielder, Liam Trotter, to that list as well.

Thanks

Who was the gk then ?

Clyne is an option that intrigues me in so far as so highly rated, and apparently sought after, but still to sign anywhere. Why ? Not as good as he and his agent think, or too high demands ? -
Saw it in the shop yesterday. Every bit as uninspiring as I feared . This is a training top rather than a "Saints" shirt in my view.

A link to our last four signings (If Buttner signs)
