  1. But it has been stated "not involved in football before".
  2. Is this in anyway connected to our new investor Morph ?
  3. I don't think it would have to be removed for legal reasons. The investor wants anonimity for now, although there is no reason why anyone on here or in the media is obliged to adhere to that wish. The name could be released and as it is not causing offence or is libellous then there is no reason to delete it. That said,I think it is prudent to respect that wish.We would not wish to jeopardise the future of Saints,by creating a situation where the investor is hacked off by having the Echo etc camped outside their front drive etc.
  4. Any liklihood of Salz and any heavyweights from that bid jumping on board the Pinnacle bandwagon ? Despite their critics I firmly believe the boardroom would be stronger for the inclusion of someone of Salz's corporate business and legal experience.
  5. What a spastic there was no advantage in this for us. Hope he finds someone to translate that little outburst into Urdu and Punjabi so the locals around Brisbane Road can share the drift of it. Actually I have no gripe with Orient, afterall we always manage to win promotion there and the cup game in 1984 was one of the best booze trips I've been on.
  6. I'd agree with that.Unless of course Paul Allen has engaged them to throw the media - and all of us on here - off the scent. I wasn't aware that he is on the Times Serious Wonga list to the degree we are talking of now though.
  7. Sounds Dutch. A revolutionary new takeover perhaps ?
  8. Dreadful version, sung at the pace of a death march. Try this for a more up tempo rousing version:
  9. Another fat c^nt. Is his father trying to make obesity socially acceptable ? If I had a kid like that the last thing I'd do is allow the little runt to display his two bellies to the nation.
  10. I think the Pinnacle team - whoever they might be - need to get their feet under the boardroom table first, and who is to say if MLT will be part of the new order once its in place ? Hope your suggestion is correct, but it'll be a few weeks yet before decisionmakers are in place.
  11. In 2009 he is 85th in the list with £520m. http://business.timesonline.co.uk/tol/business/specials/rich_list/rich_list_search/?l=27
  12. Not sure I share your hope about Zahavi being involved. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pini_Zahavi Seems to rank alongside 'Arry and Venables .
  13. Good news. At what stage, will the Pinnacle names be known ?
  14. Disappointing news as the other club sites are all of the same mediocrity.Thought the Saints site was at least an 'official' site even if it could be misused to put the party line on occasion. I assume this has been driven by cost implication somewhere along the line.
  15. "Client", in singular. So is it an individual client he is representing or a consortium (which you may have described as "clients".)? Not wishing to be pedantic but not sure if this is a change in emphasis of the Pinnacle bid.
  16. Isn't that the Canadian consortium though ?
  17. Mods, please place a life ban on saint_stevo for one of the most objectionable posts ever.
  18. So had you heard any snippets alluding to this,or is this thread the first notice you have had on it? Reason I ask is that in the past you have seemed to have had some inside info.
  19. Any familiar earlobes ?
  20. Brian Stock was a local lad. Also Steve Guppy, who went on to Wycombe,Leicester and Celtic.
  21. Which would not fit in with his suggested valuation of £14m then.Perhaps he should revalue it accordingly.
  22. The club ( or SLH,whichever guise we are under) has assets which are worth a fair bit as land for development or whatever. It is not just about a football club and a squad of players.
  23. The other hip perhaps.
  24. Either I have missed something, or this point is flaw in the logic of many people on here. As I understand it Aviva and Barclays are not under obligation, or have to accept any bid at all. If the club is worth more at 'the breakers yard' by selling off individual portions of it ( ie Jacksons Farm, Staplewood, the SMS site ) than a "bid of the last resort" as someone termed it to buy it all then we are no more. I too have wondered about the possibility of the pooling of resources etc but suspect Salz, Davies et al are used to conducting business in higher echelons, without the input of "business strategists" who may want to call the shots.
  25. It was merely an analogy. It used a the disater caused by a "military strategist" to make a point about a - self proclaimed - "business strategist".
