It’s a fucking joke that some people don’t appear to believe a manager motivating the team gets better results, it seems they all give 100% all the time, regardless who is in charge (unless the supporters upset the little darlings) . What a load of old pony. If that was the case, how on earth did Brian Clough take journeymen players to European cups. John Robertson said when Cloughie stuck his thumb up in the dug out and it was aimed towards him, he felt 10ft tall, the best player in the world. Had fucking Ian Branfoot done so, would he have felt the same.

If it hastens Teflon’s departure, the bloke deserves a new contract. It’s over, put a fork in him, he’s done……

Any players that can’t take a bit of clog from supporters need shipping out pronto.
-
Some of the players going through the motions Sat, and disgracefully at Brentford, have played in games where we’ve hung on, put our bodies on the line and got a decent result against far better sides. If Sat & Brentford were players giving 100%, then my cocks a carrot and if you can’t tell the difference between not being good enough & not giving your all, perhaps you should watch the chicks instead.

It’s not just fans, it’s the culture of the club, top to fucking bottom. Of course we can’t compete with the top sides, that ship sailed years ago, but we can fucking compete with half the friggin league. We need a few pirates to de-Noddyfy the club. Watching Ralph suck up to Klopp & Pep sums it up for me. And when was the last time one of our players was booed or abused by the opposition? Forget “nobody likes us, we don’t care”. We're “everybody likes us but nobody cares.” We’re becoming a nothing noddy club. Soft as shite, and grateful the big boys let us play against them.
-
Where does this “grateful to be in the league” pony come from. I’m 50 fucking 7 and we’ve been in it most of my supporting life. I don’t take it for granted, and I’ve been lucky, but stop with this noddy mentality. We’re a top 25 club, we’re not particularly overachieving by being in the top 20.
-
I maybe old fashioned but I thought preseason was the time to get the players “up to speed” for the season ahead. For a manager 3 years into the job to be spouting this pony is just Teflon doing what Teflon does best. Making fucking excuses.

And what they read about it, and the conclusions they should draw from those readings. My fathers generation had the glory of Empire rammed down their throats by the establishment, and I fear my grandchildren will have woke pony rammed down theirs. -
They really weren’t

Carabao Cup 2nd Round draw - Cambridge (a)
Lord Duckhunter replied to Pamplemousse's topic in The Saints
Personally, I think we had a side with bigger bollocks then, Yoshida & Hojberg weren’t the best, but they had a bit of guts. Ings was a class above anything we’ve got up front now. We needed to have a bit of toughness first 20, and we showed it. Can you guarantee this bunch of son in laws will front up early as well, I fucking can’t. -
He tries to be a clever dick, to show everyone how he see things mere mortals can’t. The thing is, it’s not that complicated. We’re not a particularly decent side, but we can’t have the better players on the bench or out of position. You pick Stuart Armstrong, if Tino is injured you play Perraud, you play OR as a defensive midfielder, you fucking play Che Adams. Add to those 4 JWP, KWP, & Salisu who pick themselves, and one of Bednarek or Lyanco. He was basically left with 3 decisions. One is the keeper. Obviously, he wanted Lavia & Aribo, so it probably needed a tweak, but we had the 11. It really shouldn’t be beyond a top flight manager, but we had a Horlicks of a team that left everyone scratching their heads.

I thought I was past it when it came to heroes, but the man is a fucking hero to me. Summed up everything that was great about our charge to the top flight, and our first couple of seasons there. Incredibly enjoyable time and my lad was the perfect age to enjoy it. Like I bang on about Lawrie’s sides, he’ll be banging on about those years when he is an old bastard. Just a shame a couple had a bit of a poisonous departure, but hopefully time will heal that. Probably the nicest manager we’ve ever had, leading a great bunch of lads, playing football the right way. Typified by SRL……Great days.

Says the bloke who thinks teams that haven’t played are either top or bottom of the league.
-
Exactly, it’s not a difficult concept to grasp.
-
No they don’t.
-
Quite an easy game to sum up. Manager picked the wrong team, bunch of son-in-laws minced around, good job Spurs went through the motions the last 20 mins.
-
Ralphball again today. Blokes a fucking fraud. Blagger. When we win away, he gives it the big un, Klopp impressions, Today he fucked off down the tunnel, hiding away again. Yet some of you clowns lap it up….

Wales isn’t just Welsh ethnics anymore than England is only ethnic English. That’s a rather outdated & racist way to look at a country.
-
He doesn’t seem to realise Wales actually voted to leave.
-
Looks like Brexit Britain is more appealing.
-
That’s good. Sweaties & Waitrose customers can house them in those areas. It’s a win win, they actually want them and the areas that don’t, won’t get any. What’s not to like about that? Mind you, some of them may prefer Rwanda than living near Soggy
-
You make it sound like housing loads of refugees is a bad thing.
-
As it was always an individuals choice (or that’s what we were told on here) will some individuals continue to do it? If there wasn’t pressure to conform, it’ll be a bit of a coincidence if hundreds of them decide to stop at once.
-
I don’t know why they’re bothering with Rwanda when the solution is staring them right in the face. I’d set up holding centres & use hotels in areas that voted Remain.
