I understand perfectly, not only do I have 5 kids under 35 but I’ve heard this pony over and over again in relation to the Tory party. What I understand, that you appear not to, is that a lot people’s politics change as they get older. If you think it’s just a question of waiting until the older leave voters die and then we’ll rejoin, then unfortunately you’re going to to extremely disappointed.

With all these problems and with top top people of high intelligence pointing them out, I’m sure the momentum for rejoining will be unstoppable. A rejoin party or coalition is clearly going to sweep to power, as the old racists die out and the enlightened next generation together with disgruntled fishermen lead us back into the wonderful EU. If a bunch of halfwits can persuade the voters to leave, surely the intelligentsia can persuade us to rejoin. Alternatively, you’re howling at the wind.

Fuck me. Remoaners are even worse after we’ve left. Here’s an idea, give it a little bit longer than 3 weeks. The Remain option wasn’t to remain it what the EU is on 1/1/21, but to remain in what the EU is in 2025,2030,2040. The country will be different in 2030 outside of The EU than it would be had it remained inside, and the EU will be different in 2030 than it is today. Therefore, I’ll be waiting longer than 3 weeks to determine if I’ve voted the right way, and mistakenly I thought others would as well. I guess blinkered ideology and the desire to be proven right, makes that impossible for some. Perhaps we should have monthly referenda.

It’s the 23rd Jan. 23 days!!!!! FFS, what’s up with you remainers. Come back in 40 years and you’ll have your answer. Alternatively, vote for a rejoin party in 2024. If there’s enough of you, your “nightmare” will be over. Mind you, if we do rejoin there maybe the odd leave idiot crying and demanding a list of benefits within 3 weeks of us rejoining.

It’s about as funny as Dawn French.

Exactly. Do we have a FTA with the EU, or not?
-
Have we not got access to it now?

It highlights a major problem with VAR, it’s very nature means it interprets decisions by the letter of the law. I doubt there’s one referee or Lino alive that wouldn’t have given that as offside without VAR. However, once it goes to VAR the rule book kicks in.

Who else have we rescued from “obscurity” who has then used us as a stepping stone ? Most players we get from bigger clubs have either been on their way down, or like OR have settled at our level. I can’t think of one other player that has stepped down to us, then gone back up.
-
Well its pretty easy, I’m surprised someone has to ask. We were promised out of the CU, SM and an end to free movement. Therefore where else could we be on that diagram? Had we voted to remain we’d have only been with Bulgaria, Romania & Croatia anyway, so it’s a pretty pointless diagram.

There’s not much wealth in the Cuban parts of Miami. We used to do construction work for Dade County Welfare housing and most Latinos were dirt poor.

City Villa is some game
-
I guess you’re right. As Bill Shankley replied when someone compared Mick Channon to Tom Finney “aye, he is as good, mind you, Tom is 70”.
-
Why not? What’s money got to do with it? I presume Mick Channon was shite because City only paid 300k for him.

There was football before 1992 you know.

He’s not even in the top 5/6 strikers that have left the club.

Don’t talk rubbish man. How old are you 15?

I’m a Saints fan through and through, but if he was my son and I was advising him,I’d tell him to go for it if one of the big 6 came in. He’s unfinished business at that level and I wouldn’t want him retiring wondering “what if”. The number posts I’ve read slating VvD & Lallana for the way they left, I presume if he gets his head down and leaves in the proper manner, there will be no hatred. If he leaves early, so be it. We’ve certainly got more out of him than most people thought we would. The only loyal people in football are the supporters, and players nobody wants to buy.

No. That was George Martin. Spector only got involved with the Beatles right at the very end, much to McCartneys disgust. As Hamilton wrote, Lennon really brought him in and he ended up producing (badly) some of his and George’s solo albums. Paul wrote a letter to the other 3’s manager Allen Klein laying out his opposition to Spector’s work on one particular song and the rearrangement of his songs probably contributed to him realising the band was over.

Really looking forward to Peter Jackson’s delayed new version of the movie Let it be, which fingers crossed is out this summer. Then we’ll really see what a pigs ear Spector & Michael Lindsay-Hogg made of the original project.

Players don’t see it like that. They’ve big egos and you need bags and bags of self confidence to make it in the top flight. He won’t be thinking “I’ll be behind Harry Kane” he’ll think he’ll play so well Jose will adjust and play both of them. Players will think playing with better players will make me better and I’ll make the side. Look at Jota at Liverpool, he hasn’t gone there to sit on the bench.

Snap dragon had hers on Friday, and she was told more or less the same thing. They did tell her she may feel rough for a few days, but she hasn’t as of yet.
