  1. Fucking messed up nearly everything he touched when it comes to The Beatles. Listen to the McCartney’s 2003 remix of “Let it be” to see what an album it could of been. To omit “don’t let me down” and then put soppy mush on the other tracks was criminal. He then totally over produced “all things must pass”, which could have been one of the greatest album ever. “Imagine “ the album was a horrible mush again, and what he did to John Lennon “Rock and Roll” was a fucking disgrace , although his behaviour during the recording, including shooting the ceiling out with a gun, hinted at what was to come. Not a patch on George Martin or McCartney himself when it comes to producing them. Did some great stuff that was made for radio working with session greats like Leon Russell, Glen Campbell & Carol Kaye, but his Beatles stuff was fucking woeful. He deserved locking up for that alone. Good riddance to the loon.
  2. Why the fuck didn’t they do that in the first place, instead of this ridiculous automatic refund per game. Any halfwit could see that automatically refunding people per game was going to lead to cock ups. Personally, if I was the big chief in the ticket office, I’d have given people 3 options after I’d taken their money. 1. Money carried forward till next season. 2. Refund at end of season. 3. Refund per game, but you have to ring up and request it.
  3. Ings would stay loyal to us if we won the league and were in and around the top 6 two or 3 years running.
  4. This Government has got itself in a right mess over this and it was so predictable. When you court popularity at the expense of proper government it comes back to haunt you. Kids should get school dinners when they’re in school, like they’ve always done. Out of school it’s the parents responsibility to feed them. If the parents can’t afford it, that’s an argument for higher welfare benefits, not for sending food parcels because a famous footballer generates poor headlines for you. If you need to make emergency payments as kids are out of school when they’re normally in it, then do that. Once you start relying on food parcels there’s always going to be a fuck up. Give them the dosh and let them feed their kids, trust people to do the right thing instead of micro managing their lives.
  5. He’s right though. Can you imagine the outcry if Europe was cracking on with the vaccine and we were dithering and fucking around.
  6. The only problem ??? They’ll be howls of outrage from lefties if Government issued food vouchers. Thin end of the wedge, once you accept the principle, what’s to stop a Government paying a portion of welfare benefits in food vouchers.
  7. This is an attempted coup. “Bridges over the Bosphorus strait in Istanbul were blocked by troops late evening local time on Friday. Fighter jets and helicopters were seen flying over the Turkish capital, Ankara, and gunshots heard. Soon after, Prime Minister Binali Yildirim announced that an attempt to overthrow the government was under way. A faction of the army then said, via a state broadcaster, that it had seized power to protect democracy from President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. A curfew, martial law and the preparation of a new constitution was announced. Mr Erdogan, who was on holiday in a seaside resort town, called on his supporters to take to the streets in protest and returned to Istanbul. Over the course of a violent night, TV stations were raided by soldiers, explosions heard in Istanbul and Ankara, protesters shot at, the parliament and presidential buildings fired upon, a military helicopter shot down and the Turkish military chief taken hostage. In the early hours of Saturday morning, groups of soldiers involved began to surrender. Troops abandoned their tanks with their hands up. Security forces also took back key installations and bases, including the military headquarters. By Saturday evening, some of the same places that had seen such chaos the night before were filled with jubilant supporters of Mr Erdogan.” This is Maidstone on a Sat night.
  8. What, in July?
  9. You could say the same about a fat twat who has a heart attack, or a piss artist whose liver fails. Maybe someone driving at 5mph over the speed limit. I bet you wear a high viz jacket at work.
  10. What if an asymptomatic Covid sufferer went out on his bike and fell off, in your judgmental world would he be allowed a bed?
  11. Don’t be so ridiculous. A coup-sudden, violent, and illegal seizure of power from a government. Are you seriously trying to claim they were trying to seize power? Stop exaggerating, I’ve seen worse in Maidstone on a Sat night.
  12. Exactly, it’s a simple remedy. Nobody on bikes unless cycling to work, nobody outside their house unless buying food or going to work. God forbid, I might trip over on my dog walk, bang my head and steal an icu bed from a Covid patient.
  13. What a load of pony. Most people are perfectly capable of acting sensibly & have been. You seem to put yourself up on a pedestal, if only everybody was as selfless as you the virus wouldn’t stand a chance.
  14. A load of red neck halfwits trying to get into the capitol building is not an “attempted coup”, however “violent” they were. At no stage was there any danger of power being seized from the legitimate Government.
  15. “Attempted coup” . Lol
  16. Correct. It comes to something when having different views means you’re just on a wind up & not a fan. I found his whole reaction OTT, particularly as someone posted a picture on his knees with the words “legend”. Firstly he’s not a legend in any sense in my eyes (only Lawrie & Ted hold that managerial honour) & secondly, I’d want a manager to win a game a bit more important than that to start blabbing. But, here’s the thing, it’s just an opinion. It doesn’t make me less or more of a fan, than anyone else.
  17. With no crowd noise, surprised how loud Claude is, he’s really barking orders to his side.
  18. Can you name a pundit on pretty much every game please. cheers
  19. Our 1-0 win at Anfield was far more significant & dramatic than Monday, and it took us to only our 4th major final in our lifetime. Claude let his emotions go, but by the time of the after match interviews had composed himself. To be on your knees blubbing after a regular mid season game is embarrassing, no matter who you’ve beaten. Are this Liverpool that good that they deserve that honour. No, only an underdog or noddy club would think so. Is there anyone claiming they wouldn’t take the piss if the skates did it?
  20. If only we had a black one armed lesbian transgender chick as an ex player. She’d be on pretty much every game.
  21. Course the piss was taken. I suggest if lallana breaks down and starts crying if Brighton beat Liverpool, having spent all week fawning over Klopp the piss will be taken then as well.
  22. What’s he going to do if we ever win anything? I presume everyone was happy with the way he hero worshipped Klopp all week and had tears in his eyes when being interviewed over 15 mins after the game. Anyone who says they wouldn’t have taken the piss out of Redknapp had he done similar for the skates is lying.
  23. Embarrassing if you ask me, noddy club behaviour. Watford dicked them 3-0 last season in a far more meaningful game than yesterday, and Pearson didn’t start blubbing like a school girl. He was fawning over Klopp all build up, way too much respect shown. There’s no doubt he’s a good manager for us, but so were Poch & Koeman, but they wouldn’t be acting like they’d won something. Can you imagine the Pompey takeover thread had Adams or Redknapp acted like that when they won a game in the premiership.
  24. Considering the side we ended the game with, that was an unbelievable result. Truly unbelievable. Tactically we were spot on, the nipper replacing OR was excellent and all the “senior” players were exceptional. The highlight was the nippers coming in/on and doing such a great job. They all put in a performance that will remain long in the memory. Ralph a bit cringey at the end, like a Klopp fan boy, but other than that a great evening.
  25. That’s just not true. Poole is in tier 4 and last week there were 3 Covid patients in ICU. Unless there’s only 4 Covid beds that’s hardly “bursting at the seams”. I bet it’s the same in vast swathes of the country. Maybe they are locking down to stop it happening, but it’s not happening at the moment.
