  1. Fucking joker Crooks, how can he have 6 players from a team that was far and away the best of the year.
  2. A glass was raised at 11pm last night to toast the heroes who delivered us this historic moment. To Nigel, who got us a referendum. There’s no chance the ERG would have done so, they’d still be arguing about section 2, subsection B1 of X treaty. To Boris & Gove, who probably pushed the result over the line. To Gina Miller who ensured a meaningful vote. To The Spartans who refused to vote for BRINO. Particularly, the radiant Priti & Theresa V the only 2 current cabinet members that never once voted for Mays turd. To Bercow, Soubry, Grieve and others that also refused to vote for BRINO but also behaved in such a way to turn the people off the rotten Parliament, and made them want to drain the swamp. To Sugar tits Swinsson & Krankie who were so deluded they believed an election would stop Brexit. When the remainer parliament & remainer speaker had Boris locked up, they gave him the key to escape. To Sir Kier Starmer, whose disastrous Brexit policy probably gave Boris an extra 50 seats, ensuring a buffer against the remain element left in the party. The great thing about Brexit was the ones that wanted it least, the ones that tried to stop it, not only ended up defeated in humiliating fashion, but their actions also ensured it was something all but 2 of the ERG could vote for. Hereos all, I salute you......
  3. Unbelievable to think he got Manchester United relegated & kept his job, but as you say, different times.
  4. RIP As you say, very respectful after ‘76. Saw him doing a couple of after dinner things, was a pretty funny guy.
  5. Seeing as he’s innocent I’d imagine you will.
  6. Not for me. Not that I’m against private medical provision, I wish there was more, but the fallout would do my head in. Firstly, they’ll be a mate of Boris that’ll pay for it, or maybe Nige, followed by BBC & C4 interviewing a frontline nurse, yet to be vaccinated unlike Mr X. Then the Right will find an example of a leftie or wokie getting one, maybe Piers Morgan or Linekar. Then an MP will be outed. It’ll be unbearable. The only way money should talk is by paying someone to vaccinate people. I’ve no faith in the NHS doing this alone. Let’s pay Bupa or whoever by results, the more they vaccinate, the quicker they vaccinate, the more they earn. If they can vaccinate the most vulnerable by Feb they’ll deserve every frigging penny.
  7. Even Bray has accepted he failed to “STOP BREXIT”. Not that it’s stopped him making a twat of himself around Westminster still.
  8. And had we lost as a result I bet you’d be the first moaning.
  9. He must of had it bad if he’s worse than Dejnepo.
  10. For the the praise they’ve been receiving lately , OR & JWP showed the limitations in their game today. They’re too cautious, played in front of their 2 banks of 4 and don’t make anywhere near enough forward runs. It comes to something when our 3rd choice centre half is the one picking passes into the guys when they’re between the lines. One of them, you may get away with, but both together (and Hojberg previously) means we seriously lack some subtlety and craft in there. Ings on form drops in to the 10 and does the job, but when he’s off his game we’re very easy to defend against.
  11. He knocked some great balls, which would have had people wetting themselves had Vesty played them. Made an error towards the end, which people will jump all over, as it’s him. The problem tonight wasn’t Jack Stephens, it was the midfield being safe and one paced, Bertrand, Adams & Ings being poor and Djenopo being hopeless.
  12. The left hand side need to buck up. Poor, particularly Djenepo, who is starting to get on my tits. Time to deliver.
  13. He has been excellent, certainly better than Armstrong the last few games.
  14. The president of the CBI seems to be one that’s admitting it. Praising Boris and stating that the deal is a springboard for growth. Previously a rabid remainer that had called for a second referendum.
  15. If I was Boris I’d call Krankies bluff & give her one (a referendum that is, I wouldn’t wish the other on anyone). Independence when both in the EU is entirely different from now. Previously the sweaties argued that the opt out of The Euro & Schegen applied to them as part of the UK, whilst that was debatable, it’s not now. Krankies pronouncements on the Irish border can be thrown back at her, as we now know what the border will look like. The final icing on the cake is that Labour, being a unionist party, will have to campaign that Boris’ deal is better for Scotland than being in the EU. A remain vote can be sold as being delivered because of the deal Boris struck. Personally, I’d like to see the sweaties fuck off, but I don’t think they will in a million years.
  16. Then abstain. If they want the Tories to own it 100%, that’s the route to take. You’re right though, their position is simple. They want to be in the position to tell their remain seats they were against it,and their former “red wall” seats they voted for it.
  17. You’re only reading what you want to read. Did you miss this bit, a direct quote from a post I wrote. It’s pretty similar to Turkish’s suggestion that you creamed yourself over. “then taking sensible precautions whilst shielding the most at risk makes more sense”.
  18. Exactly right, and in normal years NICE take these things into consideration when providing guidance.
  19. God, it’s like trying to explain offside to my snap dragon. It’s not a question of lockdown, or no lockdown, but of getting the balance between sensible measures and harming the economy. The problem with lockdown enthusiasts is their answer to everything is more lockdown. If lockdown doesn’t work and the infection rates go up , let’s lockdown harder. It’s a circle that can never be broken. If you’re measuring everything by Covid infection rates alone, then only severe lockdowns will “work”. If you’re judging it by future prosperity, other health outcomes, mental health issues, as well as Covid rates, then taking sensible precautions whilst shielding the most at risk makes more sense.
  20. Theres loads of lockdown rules that don’t make a blind bit of difference to infection rates, but make a hell of a difference to the economy. I’d also have thought Doctors surgeries working normally would also be quite a good idea.
  21. I wouldn’t worry about it. They’re just tying themselves in knots to justify being against the deal, yet voting for it.
  22. It’s open, but apart from that , good point well made.
  23. Not at all. Merely pointing out that it wasn’t a “stonewall”. Had it been, one of the referee or VAR would have given it, every poster on here would have said it, & Alan Shearer would also have said it. It was open to debate, and that’s what people are having. I was disappointed it wasn’t given, but equally would have been annoyed if we’d conceded one like that.
  24. Again, who is saying “crack on as normal”?
