Rightly so, it’ll be a horrific decision. -
Being able to reply on a forum without your words appearing in a quote, is one sign of intelligence.

Yeah, but I’d fancy Villa turning over West Ham if they’re safe. If I’m a Villa fan , my pathway out is for West Ham to beat Watford, Villa to beat Everton & a safe West Ham and then hope Watford don’t get more than one point off Arsenal & City.
-
I wouldn’t fancy Watford’s run in if they lose to West Ham, they’ve City & Arsenal left.
-
Not amongst remoaners it’s not. Intelligence is measured by whether you voted remain or not. He seems to ignore the fact that people who experienced the country outside of the EU/Common market and inside it, rejected it. Anyway, it’s irrelevant now. We’ve won and we’re leaving.
-
It’s surprising because he’s clearly not good enough. Even if Pep does ‘improve’ him, he’ll be nowhere near the required standard. For all his arm waving and running around, the fundamentals of touch, vision & passing ability are just not at the level they’ll be looking for.

When I went to school only about 10% of students went to university. Now it’s nearer 50%. You seem to imply that the only way to measure intelligence is via qualifications. This is complete nonsense. Both my father & my father in law left school at 15 but were highly successful & intelligent businessmen. My Father in law made a lot of money in 2 different industries, despite having fuck all qualifications (making him thick, by your measure). My son went to Grammar school, so had highly educated mates. I’d put my Father in law way way above my sons mates who graduated, in terms of knowledge, life experiences and natural intelligence. When it comes to the EU, surely people who have experienced The UK in and out of the EU/Common Market have a better insight than a 25 year old graduate teacher. What was the breakdown of these people when it came to their votes?

I can only think you’re on a wind up, because you can’t seriously believe this rubbish. Funny how you can see he’s “complacent “ but Ralph can’t. Unless you’re trying to say that Ralph is unwilling to do anything about complacency in the side. Doesn’t strike me as that sort of manager, but maybe you know better. If you think Sims & Boufal deserve a start over him, you’re deluded. As for Djenepo, he hasn’t really played enough games for anyone to make a judgement. I suspect Ralph would pick Redmond every time, and he does seem to know what he’s doing.

Pony. They’ll be no clubs finishing above us this season wanting to sign him. I doubt there’s any current premier league side, bar the bottom 3 that’ll be interested . -
Don’t particularly like Leeds but they’ve lost Norman Hunter, Trevor Cherry & now big jack in a few short months. RIP, great character & legend.

Let’s see how the next few months pan out for old Billy boy.
-
Because they have to park up after the race has finished?

His picked some pretty poor managers for someone who ‘ doesn’t suffer fools gladly”. He also blew it when they needed to kick on and actually spend some money. He’s more myth than genius imo. Over rated. For all the hype, it’s still same old Tottenham.
-
I don’t blame him for last nights, fine margins and all that. His pen at Arsenal however, was awful.
-
God, you must lead a boring life.

We’ve beaten City (as did Norwich) in a bit of a freak game, but did play well. We’ve beaten Norwich, who are woeful & Watford who are slightly better, but still poor. We couldn’t beat arsenal or Everton. Some people need to calm down.

Lol. Soggy, what world are you in if you can’t see anything wrong with it. If a black person merits being on the call, he’ll be on the call. Im thinking of setting up a recruitment agency ‘Blacks for hire’ . Businesses that want to feel good about themselves can hire one of my guys to sit in on calls, take part in photo opportunities and generally hang around being black. Soft arses like Soggy would love it, and they would only have to pay minimum wage, plus my mark up. I may even extend my books to include disabled, lesbos and even Trans folk. It’s a great business model because lefties will never look beyond someone’s skin colour, so I’ll always have a captive market.
-
What does that make Leicester, Utd & Chelsea. A top, top, top team? We’re nowhere near a top top team, it’s scary you think we are.

I understand why the clear and obvious interpretation is put in, because they don’t want the game re refereed by VAR. It’s a bit like umpires call in cricket. However, why the VAR can’t just advise the ref to re watch it on pitch side TV is beyond me. The ref is still making the ultimate decision and still in charge.
-
It’s not the wording that’s the issue. Clear and obvious, is just that, clear and obvious. It couldn’t be much clearer. If the VAR thinks a clear error was made, that was obvious to everyone, he should over rule (or ask ref to look again). If the idiot doing the VAR doesn’t think it’s that, there’s not a lot you can do.

Played well first half, Ok second as a Everton stepped up a bit. Looked like Redmond, JWP & Bertrand need a rest. Walker-Peters excellent again, Ings class as usual, Armstrong played well but his lack of real quality occasionally lets him down.
-
It means clear and obvious errors will be overturned.
