Stumbled across a decent series on Prime called Black Sails. It’s a pirate thing, prequel to Treasure Island. Lots of birds struggling to keep their breasts in their dresses, lots of violence & gore, and plenty of chick on chick action. Pretty decent story line so far, the only downside is Long John Silver is too much of a pretty boy, and it’s obsession with birds being strong characters . Beautiful scenery as well.

Trumps biggest win was in nominating 3 judges to the Supreme Court, this means his influence will be felt for a long time & could change the country quite considerably.

Traditional white labour heartlands have always been socially conservative & nationalistic, they just never voted Tory. Brexit gave them the reason to do so. You think Boris is holding together a delicate coalition, that’s exactly what labour will need to do if they’re going to win again. Without 50 odd sweaty seats to rely on, they’re going to have to win big in England and to do that they need to understand why they lost the working man. At the moment they still just want to keep telling those voters they voted the wrong way, rather than address their issues. Labour is seriously in danger of becoming a middle class, metropolitan party (if it hasn’t done so already).

A book by Edmund Kallina looked at this and concluded “There’s no doubt that there was plenty of corruption within Chicago’s Democratic establishment”. Proper performance. Controlled the game from start to finish, never in doubt. Everton woeful. Redmond MoTM, never, what’s Smith on, crack cocaine? I thought him & Armstrong were probably our worst two (not that they were bad, just not as good as the rest). Vestergaard & Bednarek assured, both full backs excellent & the central 2 very good, Ings & Adams looked sharp. All in all a promising performance that lacked the mad panic of past 2-0 up with 10 to go performances.
