Lack of mental strength and leadership imo. The experienced defensive pros, Bertrand, OR & Yoshida, appear to be quiet lads that don’t organise particularly well and we do seem a bit reluctant to hit the channels or row Z. There’s also an element of self fulfilling prophecy, the more late goals we let in, the more edgy we get, the edginess then contributes to us letting in more late goals. An experienced leader at centre half will go a long way to addressing this imo. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

You’re looking at it the wrong way round. By asking why Austin is ahead of Gallagher, you’re in effect questioning the managers judgement. A manager that’s done a really good job so far. The question should be, “why isn’t Gallagher good enough to be higher than Charlie in the pecking order”. The question mark should be over Gallagher, not the manager or Charlie It reminds me of a story told about Shanks. He lined the first team up and bollocked them after a poor performance. Then he turned to the players left out and stated “how bad are you lot, that you can’t get in this side “. How bad is Gallagher that he can’t dislodge Austin Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Your original post was critical of his attitude, Ralph (the manager) went out of his way to specifically praise his attitude. Has it occurred to you that he’s on the bench/ not in the side, because of his ability not his attitude. You questioned his attitude, not his ability, and are therefore spouting pony. Again. I’m sorry but that miss yesterday changed the game. Had he buried it (as my mum would’ve ) it would have stopped Boscombes revival in its tracks, which is exactly what happened after Wolves equalised the other week. I like the guy, but it’s time to draw an end to his time here. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Is that the same Charlie Austin whose attitude was praised by Ralph in Jan, or a different one. “He is a perfect example of a guy who is always positive for the team and very important for the team. Although he is not playing in the last games as much as he wants to, with his strong character he is very important for the team because he is always positive, always pushing the other guys and don’t let them lean back because he’s there and will show up. If the training session is not the quality he wants to be then he shouts at the other guys. That’s what I like, that’s why I love him and why I said in the winter transfer break if he stays with us I am happy and if he gets a chance to play somewhere else I am happy for him. He deserves to play more and at the moment I can’t offer him this chance here, not because he’s weak but because the others are doing it very well at the moment “ Still what does he know about Charlie’s attitude,he’s just the manager, not Sid, a forum poster Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Pony. The only thing that matters is staying up. Job done. Had we gone for it given the ball away, lost and therefore still needed something from West Ham or Huddersfield I’m sure you’d be the first moaning Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Further to my earlier post I managed to get into a conversation about this racist chump with a steward today. He told me that following the Liverpool game the bloke was arrested and is under investigation for racist abuse. Evidently 2 people filmed him on their phones and then reported him to the club. He’s had his season ticket blocked and is potentially facing charges. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Our whole season summed up in 90 mins. Some great attaching vibrancy, decent possession but missed chances, together with some horrific defending from transition and a late goal against. Clearly we’re moving in the right direction and to be mathematically safe 2 games out with what he inherited shows the touch of a really good manager. Draw a fair result, bearing in mind Wilson should have won it at the end. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Burnley think they’re safe, you could tell by their celebrations at Stamford Bridge. It’ll be toughish but nowhere near as hard as it would have been had they wanted a point. Leicester, nothing to play for and City are home. Chances are Brighton will be safe come last day, so see Burnley point above. Huddersfield is a gimmie, Newcastle away toughish and wolves perform against top sides, so won’t be particularly easy. I’d be amazed if City blow this. Spurs and Utd were Liverpool’s hope. To win both without conceding , is pretty ****ing impressive . Talking of impressive, Roy Keane proving what a great pundit he is. Studs first punditry, classic. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

How does anything we do or say on here help Saints stay up? If you can only contribute if your contribution helps Saints stay up, it’ll be a pretty boring forum. In fact it’d be an empty forum. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

You’ve lost the plot mate. “Tommy Robinson speech book” lol. I’m not the one getting targeted by extremists, the algorithms are obviously driving it based on your internet history. All I get are holiday companies, betting and recruitment agencies. I don’t get any political views on Facebook. Perhaps you better review your internet history. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -
****ing jokers. Why would you change a proper games start time just so a few sad sacks can watch an atrocious chick match. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

It’s not quite as simple as that They have these things called lawn mowers. Ralph checks the grass and picks his “long grass 11”. After handing the team sheet in, the cunning Spaniard pops into the Groundsman’s hut and tells Groundsman Bob to fire up his mower. The upshot is Newcastle have their short grass team whilst we are floundering around with long grass specialists. They could even double bluff us, with Groundsman Bob sat on his mower going up and down the pitch. Ralph thinks “short grass team”, however the cutters are raised too high to cut the grass and again Ralph gets it wrong. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Translation; Ban things & people I disagree with. You can only inform and try to change opinions if I agree with you. I am a liberal and don’t want free speech banned, BUT I want a regulator to ban people I disagree with. I am a good person. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

The left used to be all in favour of free speech, they’re now modern day Mary Whitehouse’s. The pinkos who run the modern Tory party are getting as bad. The mainstream vehicle for the left, the Labour Party, has an absolutely appalling record of anti Semitic hate the past few years, so it’s not confined to the right. Facebook are a private company, they can ban who the hell the like. The market will decide whether they are doing the right thing or are making a error. People crying about it are as bad as the plums who complain about The Sun or Mail. All sides of the political divide need to man up (soggy will probably complain, so I’ll change it to “person” up). It’s not liberal to want an innocent man locked up, hounded, and his career ended because he behaved legally but badly. Stop abusing the word. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Give it a rest Soggy. I’m starting to think you’re a misandrist chick, no bloke could post the anti men bile you post. Calm down, suck a Werther's Original & stop defending the indefensible. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
