I’m puzzled as to what your issue is. Any country that has control of its immigration policy can decide the numbers and professions of its immigrants. If we’re short of vets it’s perfectly reasonable to let any vet from The EU or indeed anywhere else in the world work here. If Parliament so wish, nothing will change in respect of vets. If they decide to impose restrictions on veterinary immigrants , we can vote them out. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

So let’s get this straight. According to you there are jobs that Brits don’t want to do. Being a leftie I presume you think it’s ok to pay people welfare, whilst they pick and choose jobs they deem good enough for them. There will not be a labour shortage after Brexit, not a chance. Don’t worry people will still want to serve your Latte, or wipe your arse, they maybe Africans or Asians or god forbid working class English, but you won’t notice much difference at all. I doubt immigration numbers will change much at all, especially with the sopping wet Parliament we have now. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Oh dear. It’s been a bad week for Chucka, his local PLP has adopted one member one vote, making it easier for the Corbyn cult to deselect him. Reports are that he stormed off before the result was announced. Not so keen on the people voting in Streatham. http:// https://mobile.twitter.com/streathamsllab/status/1091101177989742595 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Not quite, her wording was that she wouldn’t lead them into the election scheduled for 2022. They’ll want her gone before she gets the chance to involve herself in the future relationship. With her negotiating skills we’ll probably end end giving IOW to the French. Once a PM says they’re going, they always end up going before they want to. They won’t humiliate her, but I’m sure they’ll insist she’s gone by conference, in return for their support. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’m afraid the Lib Dumbs chucked the best chance of voting reform away in a rush for the ministerial limos. They’d spent decades fighting for PR and could have made it a red line in any coalition. Instead The Tories allowed him to save face with a ridiculous AV vote. It won’t happen here, not a hope in hell. The parties are coalitions themselves. The only thing that upstart parties can do is damage one of them. UKIP could only deny the Tories a majority, they could never win enough seats. They could split the Tory vote, which is why Cameron ended up offering a referendum. Had he not done so, he probably wouldn’t have won a majority. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

That’s because Jezzas a Brexiter and Mays not. The other positive about this plan is that May will probably have to commit to leaving office pretty soon afterwards. I’d imagine Brexiters will demand that in return for their vote. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Turkish EU affairs minister Volkan Bozkir threatened that Turkey would leave the CU in 2014 over TTIP, so it’s entirely feasible that a Trade deal could be the catalyst for Labour withdrawal from their permanent CU. Perhaps I wasn’t clear, but the “permanent “ CU the Brixiters sign up to would replace the customs arrangements in the Back stop, not come into effect on Independence Day. There would still be a transition, but more importantly for the border, the elements of the SM the Back stop gives the island of Ireland remain. Everything is then up for grabs during the negotiations about the future arrangement. Obviously, we’d be in a weaker position than I’d like, but no weaker than we would be under Mays turd. The key thing is we’re out, or certainly further out than we’ve been for 40 years. Following an election , a new leader, less DUP influence , less turncoats, and a bigger mandate and we can finish the job. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

There is absolutely zero chance of us remaining in the single market, unless we get an opt out on free movement. Customs union, maybe only for the short/Med term. Being a new loyal party member I had an interesting conversation with a life long member trying to tap me up for some door knocking ( I told him to **** off, I’ve got better things to do). Gathering traction with right minded people is the following as a last resort to save May’s turd; Agree to Corbyns permanent CU to get the deal over the line. How permanent is permanent. I know that sounds ridiculous but bare with me. The thinking is you can’t get out of the back stop because it’s designed to be temporary and is a fallback option, that nobody wants to use. A “permanent “ arrangement has to have some withdrawal mechanism. Perversely, it could be easier to get out of a permanent CU than a temporary back stop. There’s nothing to stop the next Tory manifesto containing the commitment to withdraw from it. I know people are going to say that a permanent CU is that, permanent. But it can’t be. If Labour are seriously saying that we have to remain in a CU for forever and a day, what happens if The EU agree a version of TTIP in 30 years time, that opens up the NHS to US private firms ( in the CU but not part of The EU we wouldn’t have a veto), what if The EU are dominated by far right politicians in 2050, do we have to stay in? Of course not, if Government have a mandate they’ll be able to withdraw from it. Once the “people’s vote” losers disappear and frauds like Wollaston, Grieve, Sourbry & Boles are deselected, a real Tory can finish the job. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Finally, a sensible post. This isn’t a FIFA 19 or Championship Manager game. The club probably looked at a couple of options, but decided they were over priced. I’d imagine Ralph would have been agitating for players had he really wanted some, as he doesn’t strike me as a yes man. Perhaps Ralph and the club took this novel approach, let’s ship out blokes we really don’t want and have a good look at the rest. That way Ralph will be better equipped and have more knowledge of the individuals to make informed decisions. Most on here would have had Redmond out 2 seasons ago, OR looked a busted flush this time last season. Which is proof players can improve with structure and proper coaching. Looks to me like Ralph’s backed himself to get this lot up the league. I much prefer that than the Redknapp, Fat Sam “we need bodies in” approach that most of the forum seem to adopt. Personally, I wish the Jan window would “slam shut” permanently. Sky have now over hyped it so much they’ve jumped the shark, and the **** wittery of some forum posters during it gets worse every season. Thank **** it’s over for another year. No, he means continuing to impress Ralph with his attitude. Ralph has said it was just that he doesn’t fit into the preferred style of play, but he likes his attitude. But hey, what does Ralph know compared to you. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I’d rather Charlie came on last night than Mo. Down to 10 men and defending deep, Charlie may have nicked something. One thing for sure, Palace fans would have feared the worst seeing him run on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Stop ****ing moaning about Cedric and or other right backs. If Ralph wanted him to stay or was desperate to get another one in, I’ve no doubt we would have sorted for him. We don’t know much about our owner, but I’m pretty sure he’s not idiotic enough to pi ss off Ralph after a dozen or so games. FFS we’ve got supporters that have Harryitis, twitching at home whilst watching Deadline day on Sky sports news. ****ing relax and calm down Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Pony. Did you think Ronaldo reacted perfectly when he winked after getting Rooney sent off, or did you think “what a complete cnt”. As I said earlier, winding someone up is not that much of an issue, clenching your fist in a “get in” sort of celebration is classless. It’s classless if Vardy or Nugent did it, and it’s classless when one of our players does it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Perhaps Ward-Prowse should look at the fixture list before giving a fist clench “get in” reaction for winding Zaha up. We know how bad Palace are without him, and they’ve got Fulham Saturday. Personally, I think it’s classless. Not so much the actual wind up, but celebrating someone getting a red is. Ronaldo’s wink was, and imagine this place if Jamie Vardy did the same to Ings. It wasn’t a fair result at all, we deserved **** all. The fact we got a point is the one decent thing about a pretty average performance. The past couple of years when we’ve played badly we get beat, so managing to nick a point when we played so badly is encouraging. Our support was ****ing woeful tonight. Just think, had Dominic Grieve not insisted on a meaningful vote the ERG wouldn’t have any leverage over May. That, and Miller going to court to ensure Parliament triggered A50, have turned out to be 2 very helpful events for Brexiters. When we’re out, I’ll raise a glass to both of them. Tonight I’ll spare a thought for Pixie Cooper, not only did she lose her vote, she’s got to go home to Ed Balls. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

You really think the Davos crowd will accept a vote without Remain on ballot. It’s not about taking party politics out of it, it’s about staying in the EU Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
