There won’t be an election. No chance, not a hope. It’s been taken out of the PM’s hands, and if you think enough Tories are going to vote for one you’re deluded. There is zero chance of them voluntarily voting for an election they don’t need to call, and with her at the helm. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I’ve just had a quick skim read of the Forster contract extension thread. It’s probably about 70/30 against it being a good thing. Some people did think Les did the right thing and one even claimed he was on a par with Niemi. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

If that’s the case, I’ve wasted £6. Hardly the end of the world. Personally, I think Nov will be pushing it, unless it’s already been fixed. Ive thought for a long time they’ll be a massive fudge where the withdrawal agreement will be so wholly both sides can blag it. That’ll bring a “transition phrase” which will be when the fun begins. She won’t be able to get anything through the commons, so won’t even try. The whole history of her premiership is her kicking the can down the road, she’ll limp on and on, until the ERG pull the trigger. The fixed term parliament act ties her hands and stops her tacking a confidence vote onto it. She’s basically ****ed, she can’t even go nuclear and call an election. There’s no way the grey suits will let her, even if they did, enough tories wont want one to vote it through. Whatever happens the conference should be fun, although surely she can’t be as embarrassing as last year. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

They’ve now vetted me to make sure I wasn’t one of Banksies blue momentum, and I’m in. From what I can make out their vetting procedure is to check I didn’t join by following Aaron’s link, and that I hadn’t been a member of another party recently. Exactly as I said , 3 months and I’ll be able to vote for the next PM once the ERG decide the time is right to strike down the Maybot. All for only £2 a month. Thank you Brandon...... What about Labour MP’s and ex MPs witch hunts? Because if it was just The Tory press you may have a point, it’s Labour supporters that are keeping the story running and running. They haven’t got the balls to leave the party, so are using this as a proxy war. Every single one of them knew about Corbyn’s past, his anti Semitic views & his dodgy friends when they campaigned for him to become PM. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Guido Carrillo - Official: Free Transfer to Elche

You clearly haven’t been following his career. It’s not just the last few years he’s been woeful in front of goal, it’s his whole ****ing career. Those few games under Koeman were a blip, a purple patch. If he would replicate that season in season out, he wouldn’t be playing for us. He’s never been a dribbler, his pace is used closing opponents down, chasing long balls and getting us up the pitch. He’s not got quick feet or sharp in the box for us to slide passes into, ala Gabbi. Again, if you added that to his game he’d be playing for a top 6 side. Don’t you think Hughes is aware of his limitations and would do anything to get someone better in. The fact that he watches Gallagher day in day out, and doesn’t think it’s him tells you a lot. What makes you think you can see something that Mark Hughes can’t, bearing in mind Hughes was one of the best centre forwards of his generation and has seen Gallagher far far more than you. This is just pony. Why is it bad when a centre forwards best attribute is holding the ball up. It’s a pretty damn big part of the game. It’s something a lot of modern centre forwards struggle with, including some big powerful players. Of course you’d like him to play like Hughes did in his prime, hold it up and pose a threat goal scoring wise. But if he could finish , he wouldn’t be playing for us. The one thing he gives us that none of the other strikers do is an out ball. Some sides don’t particularly need one, but we do, and that’s why we look better (particularly away from home) when he’s playing as opposed to Austin or Gabbi. To say he’s not PL standard is clearly nonsense. The fact he’s spent the last few years playing in it proves that you’re wrong. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Both full backs were excellent today as was the keeper, the centre halves did ok, although he can’t hit a barn door Benteke is still a handful in the air and I thought they handled him ok. Centre midfield worked well, PEH probably having his best game in a saints shirt. Redmond wasn’t as quite as effective as in other games this season, but was disciplined and worked hard.Elyounoussi, gave a solid performance. Up front. Ings didn’t quite look at his best, and it’s great that we’ve finally got a player that makes finishing look easy, even when they’re not firing properly. Long was Long again. Got us up the pitch, worked hard battled and gave us an out ball. All without looking likely to score. All in all an impressive proper away win. Ride our luck a bit, the first of which was Zaha not playing. But how many times have a team been there for the taking and we’ve screwed up? We seem a bit more ruthless, not quite so polite, under Hughes and I like it. Couple of dodgy halves, but other than that we’ve looked ok this season. I don’t think we’ll set the world alight, but we’ll be fine. MoTM-McCarthy just edges PEH for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Jared O'Mara didn’t, Woodcock didn’t, Naz Shah didnt, in fact I can’t recall one mp that became an independent that has. Although that hasn’t stopped Corbyns attack dogs having a go at one of the most respected men in Westminster. Reports are he’s considering calling a vote, even the loony left must realise he’ll wipe the floor with them if he does. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

There ain’t many MP’s that are respected across the political divide, but Frank Field is one of them. Of course he’s getting mountains of clogg from the “kinder and gentler “ lefties that make up the membership nowadays. Let’s see if any of the “moderates “ have the balls that Frank has and leave the cesspit created by Corbyn Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I go onto TUI & Thomas cook etc websites, find a hotel then set about arranging it myself. Jan we went to Gran Caneria & I booked a Rui hotel through their app, went onto sky scanner and it gave me an Easy jet outbound flight and a Norwegian inbound. I then went on their websites, booked direct with both carriers, saving a further £36. Atlantica are another hotel chain, mainly in Greece & Cyprus that you can book directly with and save money. Another tip is to book B&B then upgrade when you get there, that’s cheaper as well. We don’t do AI anymore as the kids don’t come with us anymore. Sometimes operators are cheaper or just as cheap. Easy jet holidays are cheap with kids, and if you book early enough BA have some cracking holiday deals, we went to Crete B & B for £700 end of June this year. The bonus with BA is 20kg of hold luggage each is included, saving loads as opposed to Ryan air. I’ve always used a mixture of myself & a holiday company, based on price. You can pretty much arrange the exact same holiday, work out the difference, and is that amount worth piece of mind. Oct we’re going back to Gran Can, and TUI was £80 more, we went with them as I felt that was worth paying. Great hotel we’ve been with our kids were Atlantica Porto Bello beach Kos, although there’s not much for adults in evening. If you’re doing it yourself, Malaga gives you great options, use resort hoopa for transfer and some hotels do transfers. We’ve only done B&B there, but it’s great area for kids. Id imagine it’s harder with a referendum than a FPTP General election. You don’t even need to poll half the seats as you’ll know the result regardless. My dog could stand as a Tory in my constituency of Poole and win, whereas nobody had a clue how many Leave voters there were. It was only on Independence Day when I went up the polling station that I realised we had a chance. It was mobbed, I’d never seen so many people voting. I talked to the sad sack Lib Dem who for some unknown reason always stands outside at every election , and he was genuinely shocked by the turn out. Predicting turnout must be so much harder in a referendum than a GE. One, people will vote knowing their vote will count, and two you don’t really know how motivated people are to vote and how important the issue is to people who don’t normally care about politics. Living in a safe seat, it was a nice change to have a vote that actually counted. My MP is a pompous arse, a soft pinko halfwit, when I pointed this out to him via an email regarding his support for May’s turd policy (not quite in those terms) his reply was “ I have a 14,000 majority, so I must be doing something right”. I replied that he was inspirational, and that he had inspired me..... inspired me to join Banksies blue wave, join the party to get a proper leader in charge, and then to try and deselect his sorry fat arse. Pony. He was nailed on for Fulham as he wanted to play for Jokanović again. These were his exact words when signing. I told my agent, my brother, my family that this is the only club I want to join,” Mitrovic said. “We didn’t even talk. Especially after the World Cup a few clubs were interested but my heart wanted to come here and to continue where we stopped. “I didn’t talk to the other clubs. I know that I want to be here. It was not easy but in the end we did it and I’m here. We’re happy now.” “When I came here I fitted into the club like I’d been here lots of years,” Now I have a feeling like I’m home”. The “one that got away”. LOL. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Will always be remembered for the cup final and the goal at Swansea, but ultimately he hasn’t been good enough. I was hoping a change of manager may lead to a change of fortune for him, but it doesn’t look like it’s going to be. One thing for sure if he could find anywhere near the form he started with, he’s head and shoulders above the rest. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

How did he feel when they were 1-0 up at home to Juve having drawn 2-2 in the away leg, and then bottled it. Probably the same way he felt when they bottled the semi final at home, and came 3rd in a 2 horse race behind Leicester & Arsenal. He’s made them less Spursy, but they’re still bottlers. Let’s make a comparison with 40 year old Jose with 40 year old Poch then. One won the UEFA cup, followed by The champions league with Porto. That’s why he got the major jobs, that was his “in” to the elite level. The other has won **** all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
-
Apart from the keeper, he played a full side and had home advantage against yesterdays man in the FA cup semi final, and Jose schooled him. What would his fan boys say if he’d won Europa league, League cup & finished second in his first 2 seasons, they’d be elevating him to legend status. The fact these things are considered failure for Jose sums it up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Had Jose been at Spurs for 4 seasons he’d have won something by now. At his age Jose had won premier league & 2 champions league, as opposed to 0. Spurs bottled it in the champions league last season, and a home game FA Cup semi final. There’s absolutely no chance Jose would have chucked those chances away. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Jose gave him a tactical lesson in the FA cup semi final. I’m sure most teams would rather have a manager that actually won something. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Is that the Leicester that won it 2 seasons ago, or a different one? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
