What a load of old pony.

What a load of old pony. “No significant electrol achievements” lol. How about winning 2 national elections in the past 10 years, & then winning the EU referendum. After Mrs T & Blair he’s the most influential political figure of the past 50 years. 😂 It’s laughable that someone thinks a programme that has half wits like Russell Brand, Owen Jones & that fucking boring black poet on, shouldn’t invite Nigel.

Didn’t you say what Abbott wrote wasn’t anti semitic & you agreed with her. What does that make you?
-
John McTernan said on radio yesterday that he knows for an “absolute fact” that had Abbott been given the whip back in Jan/Feb she’d have stood down at this election. Says he can’t understand why Starmer lied saying the investigation was ongoing was he knew it had concluded in Jan/Feb. Thinks it’s been set up deliberately to show the party has changed, but there was no need. Booting out Corbyn showed that, and any votes gained from people who agree with Abbott being barred will be lost to the greens & Lib Dems from the other end. Personally, I’m glad to see the back of the racist anti semite.

I would suggest that anyone who hasn’t got a phone is too old to be going to football alone. I bet the ones moaning are tech savvy enough to fire off an email, or whinge on a forum. The club must be praised for interest free credit as well. They could easily have banged a small surcharge on.

What if you lost your wallet? Some of you dinosaurs need to get with the programme.

Adam the Lama to return to Saints? Is this true?

They’re all disloyal cunts, but some are better at hiding it. -
Fact? Not according to Bill Clinton, still what does he know? From the Guardian (just for Soggy) Clinton had "slowly" - to avoid misunderstanding - read out to Arafat a document, endorsed in advance by Barak, outlining the main points of a future settlement. The proposals included the establishment of a demilitarised Palestinian state on some 92% of the West Bank and 100% of the Gaza Strip, with some territorial compensation for the Palestinians from pre-1967 Israeli territory; the dismantling of most of the settlements and the concentration of the bulk of the settlers inside the 8% of the West Bank to be annexed by Israel; the establishment of the Palestinian capital in east Jerusalem, in which some Arab neighborhoods would become sovereign Palestinian territory and others would enjoy "functional autonomy"; Palestinian sovereignty over half the Old City of Jerusalem (the Muslim and Christian quarters) and "custodianship," though not sovereignty, over the Temple Mount; a return of refugees to the prospective Palestinian state though with no "right of return" to Israel proper; and the organisation by the international community of a massive aid programme to facilitate the refugees' rehabilitation. Arafat said no. Enraged, Clinton banged on the table and said: "You are leading your people and the region to a catastrophe." A formal Palestinian rejection of the proposals reached the Americans the next day. The summit sputtered on for a few days more but to all intents and purposes it was over.

Who to believe, Bill Clinton or Soggy? “And Hamas is really smart. When they decide to rocket Israel, they insinuate themselves in the hospitals, in the schools, in the highly populous areas, and they are smart.” “They said they try to put the Israelis in a position of either not defending themselves or killing innocents. They’re good at it. They’re smart. They’ve been doing this a long time.” “I killed myself to give the Palestinians a state. I had a deal they turned down that would have given them all of Gaza,”
-
Really? Clearly by your logic it’s understandable if Isreal fight back, in fact it would be “nonsense “ to say they shouldn’t.
-
Agree, much better to build it on a 28 year old who has done fuck all for 2 seasons and is looking for another pay day.
-
He’s being lined up for an important back room role, keeping Ross Stewart company.
-
That’s it then, conclusive proof…

Why would Martin & the present crop of decision makers at the club be influenced by that. Of course they wouldn’t, if they thought he could do the job they want him to do, the fact he played for us 7 or 8 managers ago wouldn’t enter their thinking. It’s not pub football.

“Brilliant goalkeeping dept” is pushing it a bit…

I’ve just been round my old mans, he said he’s thinking of not voting Tory for the first time in his life because of this proposal. He did national service & it was the most horrendous experience he’s ever had. Said he’ll never vote for anyone that subjects young people to that again. I did try to explain that I doubt it’ll be Sargent majors bullying people & rats crawling over your bed whilst you slept. But it does go to show that the messaging is horrendous, and people don’t really understand the “gammons” like they think they do. I don’t really understand the thinking, it’s a needless error. What’s the best they can hope for, a few people might not vote reform, or might vote that would have stayed at home. They’ll lose as many votes from the other end of the party just like my old man. I realise he’s just one individual & everyone has different experiences, but I was genuinely shocked at his reaction.

McCarthy is a perfectly acceptable back up. An experienced keeper is exactly what you want to fulfil that role. He’s just proved that with his performances in the play offs & has earnt a new contract (provided he’s not greedy). Focused and professional despite not featuring for most of the season, the last thing you need is an unproven back up that shits himself when the pressure is on. It’s not his fault our number one is pony. A proper decent number 1, with McCarthy as back up, lumley as 3rd choice and Baz on loan somewhere, we’re not going to get much better options than that.
-
I can’t believe we’re going to spend much, & also think Martin will be happy with a few tweaks to the present bunch. Decent keeper, with AM as number 2. Baz on loan somewhere once fit again (preferably back to Pompey). left back. Jack, Manning & Bree good enough cover for both full back positions, hopefully KWP stays, but need left back. At centre half I’d see if Martin can get a tune out of ABK, don’t like the cunt but clean slate & all that. With THB & Janny B, with Jack, that 4 are pretty much our level. I thought Downes was a bit over rated, but he’s stepped up lately. However, why do West Ham want rid (if they do), and why does he keep suffering spells out. The jury is out for me, as Smallbone, him & Charles does seem a bit weak in that department. I wouldn’t actually be adverse to keeping Rothwell as a squad player, despite his lack of impact this season. He does offer something a bit different than the others especially with Stu leaving. . I’d sign Frasier, but fuck Brookes off. This is one area that worries me, because of the way we play, we need a technical player. Technical players that can also compete, are pretty much out of our league. Lavia on loan, great shout. Up top, we’ve just got to hope Stewart comes good because I can’t really see us spending big enough to guarantee goals. AA may chip in with half a dozen if we’re lucky and one thing for sure, we won’t miss Che Adams appalling finishing. Talk of Ings is fucking stupid, the only West Ham forward I’d be interested in is Antonio, if the new man doesn’t fancy him. It’s really hard to get a forward in. I’ve always like Raúl Jiménez, whose now floating around our level and is technically good for a bigger fella. If Bamford wasn’t injury prone, he’d fit our system as well. We’ll probably end up with a loan or a Carlos kick a ball we’re hoping would come good. Id fuck Sullemana off, but give Edozie one last chance. You can’t keep being “promising”, you have to deliver eventually.
-
Fuck me, pay a £5 you tight git, then you won’t have to cram 4 posts into 1.
-
With Nigel calling this national service idea a joke, & Lammy previously calling for it, it looks like Soggys claim that RS is trying to appeal to “gammons” is pure pony.
-
It depends on whether it was am entertaining 8th place finish . If it was 8th but we drew a few 0-0 it’ll be a massive failure which deserves the sack and constant criticism for years afterwards.
-
Thank fuck for that. That would be Noddy on steroids..
-
No, no no. Absolutely fucking no. I like Jack, always have. He’s got something about him, bit of spirit & leadership, but it never works even when you’re talking about proper top players like Gareth Southgate or John Stones. Decent centre half on the ball, and supporters start thinking about CDM. It’s one thing a centre half drifting into midfield, or doing it when you’ve got 70% of the ball, like City do. But it’s a totally different role & he’ll get found out. Being able to play centre half, either full back or in a 3, together with his leadership & spirit gets him a squad place, but midfielder..no thanks.

Southampton 1-0 Leeds - Saints are Promoted!!
Lord Duckhunter replied to TheAlehouseBrawlers's topic in Golden Posts
So you don’t want to see the same team, you actually want someone who couldn’t get in the team, to be in the team…. FFS. We need a keeper, left back & a centre forward. Players like Jack, Adam Armstrong, Manning will play an important role in the squad & deserve to be around the club. With players like Rothwell, Brooke’s, Adams & Stu Armstrong leaving there is plenty of scope to bring in 2 or 3 starters. Sulemana has had his chance, we need to get rid asap. -
The save to his left from James, no way Baz gets that. No fucking chance.
