I reckon some of the fans need to take some responsibility. Has anyone noticed the poor run of results has started since CoT started giving us hints from the dressing room? It’s obviously not a happy camp & leaks won’t help team unity.

Steve Bruce made an interesting point the other day, regarding “process “ and how all the young managers now have a “project”. He used Vincent Kompany as an example. He said if he sticks to his principles and keeps playing the same way, Burnley will probably go down. But he will get another half decent job, most likely in Europe, because Chairmen will like his philosophy, his “project” & the way he sets his teams up and how he plays “the right way”. However, if he becomes a bit pragmatic, abandons his style & keeps them up for a couple of years, his future options will actually diminish because he’ll then be associated with that type of job. Whilst Bruce clearly has “scar tissue” from some of his previous jobs & is a bit bitter, there is an element of truth to what he’s saying. These bullshit merchants ponce it all up with flowery spiel & their pony around undertaking a project & the process which they promise us will work but takes time, and a lot of people fall for it. It’s the “emperor's new clothes", he’ll probably blag another job after this one, another project, another owner who thinks he’s reinvented football. Whereas his actual record is that of a lower league journeyman manager.

It was pure Noddy, just as bad was the way he sucked up to Klopp & Pep. Like a star struck school boy. Particularly Pep who used to pat us on the head, admiring the 20 min spell we had and then pocketed the 3 points. Our Nods lapped it up. Id much rather they hated playing us, you didn’t see Wenger or others throwing complaints at Fat Sam’s sides. Or Fergie when we chased them round the Dell 3 seasons running. We were soft as shite under Ralph, still are.

Kelvin was far superior in the championship than we’ve seen from Baz so far. Fuck me if Leeds have the chances Sat that they got in the famous Kelvin game, it’ll be about 14. At the end of that season, Kelvin was rightly in the team of the season, I doubt this clown will even be in our team come the end of this season. Teams have shite defenders, it does absolve the keeper or mean he doesn’t have to make any saves.
-
He will not drop into the championship to manage anyone, let alone us.
-
Unfortunately, it wasn’t me. Somebody else posted it first.

Anyone who thinks Big Sam will manage in this league now is deluded.

Marin has been in charge for 9 games. Won 3 Drawn 1 Lost 5 To put that record in context, this is Nathan Jones’ first 9 games in charge Won 4 Drawn 0 Lost 5 Pretty similar really, and his press conferences are slowly becoming Jones like as well. He needs to turn it around soon because like Jones it’ll become untenable pretty quickly if it doesn’t.

Nail on head.

My mates are laughing at me over Saints. However, when I get into conversations with strangers about football not one has laughed over my support. Nobody really pays any attention to us or our tribulations.

I’d want my keeper saving Middlesbrough’s fist. Yet again he got his hand to it and couldn’t get it round the post.
-
You absolute fucking blagger. It’s football, he’s been playing it his whole life. It’s not rocker science and your not Cruyff or Pep redefining the game.

When Nathan jones walked out the door deep down he must have thought “fuck me, I’ll go down as the worst Southampton manager ever”. Little did he know that within 6 months, that would become debatable. There’s no way on earth we’d be in a worse position today had Jones had taken over a relegated team. Who would have thought it. A year ago I thought Branfoot was the worst Manger we’ve ever had, within 12 months he’s out of the relegation zone thanks to Nathan, Selles & Lego head. Fuck me!!!!
-
Yes.
-
Fuck me, he’s calling him Janny B as well 😂
-
No shit? Every club that’s been relegated is “used to losing”, and every new manager is brought in to change the culture of the relegated club. It would be bizarre to think otherwise. “I’ve been appointed to continue the losing culture we’ve had around the club”, said absolutely nobody. I didn’t hear him mention this losing culture much until HIS team started losing. Jones said the same thing and got accused of passing the buck, what’s different this time, instead of the hair, and the delivery of the spiel what’s the difference? We’re in a league lower as well.

Canford cliffs I think. Someone told me Lallana bought his gaff, don’t know if that’s true or not.
-
Being brave is not being afraid to make the same mistakes over and over and over again, to keep trying the same thing , even if it costs you…..Russ is the bravest manager we’ve ever fucking had.
-
This is what Prowse told the BBC the day we were relegated. “From the first day of pre-season until right now you can tell the standards at the club have slipped,"

I found Puglia a bit cheaper than most of Italy if you’re on a budget.

If they had a trendy algorithm, why would it pick diametrically opposed managers like Jones & Martin. Did this algorithm throw up a front footed aggressive Brentford like outcome, followed by a possession based RussBall. If so, it’s a bit of a coincidence that we’ve ended up with a bloke who thinks he’s Pep. If Martin was a success I think I know who you’d be putting it down to, Wilcox. We’re a pound shop Man C, yet the bloke we’ve hired from Man C didn’t really want the pound shop Pep. He actually wanted the bloke that’s doing well at another relegated club, amazing isn’t it. Spin worthy of Alister Campbell. This is what the club said was his role when first appointed “responsibility for all football departments, including the men’s first team”. If Wilcox had said, “fuck me don’t employ that Lego headed chump, he’s a blagger that can’t set a team up defensively “, do you think he’d be here?
-
Based on what? He played for a team with a good manager, Jesus fucking Christ, let’s get Andy Cole in, shall we. Nobody can fucking tell me Wilcox wasn’t fully on board the Russ bus. He’s part of the shit show. I’m glad you think he’s our only chance of recovery, because I fucking don’t. He may well “intervene”, but it’ll be for job preservation, rather than not thinking Martin was the man for the job. He was another smug wanker that thinks he’s broken the mould and reinvented football. Martin & Wilcox are two checks of the same arse as far as I’m concerned.

I can recommend Puglia in summer. We went in June, beautiful. Gallipoli a personal favourite and funnily enough I met an Inter supporter in a phone shop there, who was also in San Siro for our game.
